Hmm... That's actually not bad. I would be down for placing playable characters in Path pages in the future once more drops.
I don't see how that would work when characters of the same Path don't necessarily share the same faction. And don't tell me you plan to put the Trailblazer on all pages by the end of the game's cycle once they gain access to all Paths.
As it stands, splitting characters that way will reduce the Stellaron Hunters page to scraps. This is also why you don't see anyone changing the HI3 character page splits into different battlesuit types/element for playable characters. It's more coherent to keep the factions/locations as is. Jarilo-VI can split up into Overworld and Underworld subpages when it becomes too big, and the Xianzhou Luofu can be split into the different Commissions.

"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainPlacing playable characters into distinct roles is more convenient than placing them into factions only to get lost in a sea of NPCs. I don't really see your point for valuing factions over reader convenience for players who only care for the playable characters.
I don't really appreciate you accusing me of malice here when I was simply acting based on player preference from what most of the SR fandom thinks, especially off-site. In any case, I'll start a discussion on the character pages proper so we can decide whether to revert back to the factions setup or keep the playable characters vs NPCs setup.
EDIT: And done. Discussion here.

No, I was assuming to give the Trailblazer a page to themselves. Since they are adaptable the two of them would be very unique and unlike Genshin, Stelle and Caelus are different characters with different animations.
Like with say Sword Plant Preservation Stelle only does it and not Caelus.
Thinking about it, the current compromise kinda works? Keep the factions, but put the playable characters on top of each page to avoid the "sea of NPC’s" problem.
In these games it’s usually pretty obvious which characters are eventually gonna be playable anyway. Except if they are a busty blonde evil Russian woman, apparently.

Phew, finally cleared all quests in Jarilo and Herta Station. Only a few left on the Luofu.
That phone salesman quest made me want to deck the guy in the face through the screen, so it was fairly realistic.
I liked Natasha’s and Serval’s quests (especially Serval’s conclusion being "No, I’m not gonna forgive you, bitch, just rot in hell!", tragic as it is) and I appreciate that the sidequests are all reasonably short but… I don’t know, I wouldn’t mind a slightly bigger one with cutscenes and all like in Genshin. Not asking for an Aranyaka or an Enkanomiya but, you know, a bigger cake to chew on once in a while.

The one with the IPC ads, right?
Yeah, that. They really captured the "LEAVE ME THE F*CK ALONE" vibe of the situation.
Yeah, I noticed Hoyo is really trying to hamfist the idea that the IPC shills ads across the galaxy like no tomorrow, and the texts from that sidequest are hilarious and get the job done. Though if you ask me, I think they should tone down on Findie's vocal ad spams a bit because it's a bit too grating to pass off as a Take That! joke.
Oof, yeah, that’s mighty annoying. Thank god we only have to deal with it a couple times. >.>
Here's my review. As someone who previously played Genshin Impact and a little bit of Honkai Impact 3rd before, I have been playing this game for a week recently and it's pretty good so far. The game feels like a combination of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. It's similar to both games I mentioned because of the mission rewards, gacha and the elements based attacks but the difference is that it's has a gameplay of your standard Turn-Based Combat and some characters are based on Honkai Impact 3rd characters like Seele and Bronya. However I enjoy it.
Which playable character(s) are the best so far and why?

“What is that? It's The Unknown!”As it stands currently, both Bronya and Seele are very good and are THE defacto way to play the game if you have both, as they have amazing synergy with each other. Of course, this will change in the future because the meta will no doubt evolve, so be prepared to switch them out for better options once (if) they become obsolete.
I have a very few characters so far and keeps on getting cards instead but I'll try to unlocked them.
“What is that? It's The Unknown!”I mean, you don't have to and I wouldn't recommend wasting gacha resources on a risky gamble anyway unless you have the money to really afford it without sinking your budget. Just merely stating what the Game-Breaker entry on YMMV.Honkai Star Rail says.
My current team consists of Destruction Trailblazer (female), Pela, Asta and Bailu, which is far from the meta in any sense but they're decently built enough to get through most content without any issues. I only occasionally switch out Pela and Asta for Herta, Serval, March, Dan Heng, and Seele whenever a challenge requires a certain element or path. I'm F2P so I have to make due with what I have and spend my resources wisely.
I have Bronya and Seele, and they're good but not really that much better than my other options. The main thing is being able to hit enemy weaknesses
Also Seele is limited and not currently available
Stelle (mostly Destruction) and Bronya are more or less permanent fixtures in my team, the rest varies. March and Welt usually complete the comp, though I can use Serval, Qinque, Natasha or Hook depending on the enemy.
Another combination I like using occasionally is Yangqing + Pela, pretty good damage!
The IV version of Mother of Deception hits pretty hard. Midway through Phase II, one turn where my Gepard was imprisoned and unable to apply his Ultimate's shield spelled doom for everyone else as Last Choir of Genesis fell down on their unshielded selves. This meant that I was forced to watch an imprisoned Gepard soak several Cocolia meteors for several turns and reapply the Ultimate when briefly getting out of imprisoned state, along with the Engine of Creation's smash every 10 turns or so.
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainServal is also a pretty good unit due to being able to give out a shock debuff every time she hits enemies with her skill or ult, allowing her to rack up a lot of damage. IMO she's better than Himeko since Himeko relies on Breaks to rack her damage up, whereas Serval just needs something to exist.
Natasha is the single best healer in the game, with the capability to not only heal a single person and their debuffs, but can constantly heal the party with her ult. She also has the highest HP stat in the game (so far) and a fairly high defense stat.

"In a move surprising absolutely no one"Surprisingly, I was able to get Asta, Serval and so recently Natasha. Anyways, thank you for your suggestions.

“What is that? It's The Unknown!”Asta is a guaranteed pull your first time, and Natasha you get for doing the story. I can't recall if it's the same for Serval or not.
"In a move surprising absolutely no one"Serval was a pre-register bonus, if I recall.
Odd... I never pre-registered before launch (I registered three days after), and Serval was my first ever pull before Asta.
Of those that have shown up in the beta and other places we are looking at 11 Xianzhou playable characters and 9 from elsewhere.. and thats only just now. That's a pretty big single faction page already.
Tbh I would probably divide them up by paths. By the end of the year every path should have 7-8 playables in each.
- The Trailblazer (Adaptive)
- The Hunt (Single Target DPS)
- The Destruction (The Mario)
- The Erudition (Multi Target Caster)
- The Harmony (Buffer)
- The Nihility (Debuffer)
- The Preservation (Tank)
- The Abundance (Healer)
With their god leading the page.NP Cs can be as a faction page.
