For Wednesday, the Netflix show. The villain turns out to be a character played by Christina Ricci, who previously played Wednesday in the films. I was thinking of adding an entry to Fridge Brilliance that says it makes sense that the person who comes close to defeating Wednesday is in essence another version of herself.

Yeah, that shouldn't be listed as Fridge Brilliance. It might be an example of Meta Casting though.

Meta Casting is deliberate on the part of the creators. This sounds more like a "hey, I noticed this cool coincidence" thing, which does fit better under Fridge.

This specific example is a Remake Cameo (where it is already listed). The 'other version of herself' part isn't really there unless the show actually has that in it.
