Let's make an OC: The Forum Game

Gray Thompson was a war orphan and test subject No. 3 for a new serum that would "advance" humans, allowing them to be able to do "marvelous things with the gained abilities". Instead, it turned them into abominable creations. Specifically, Gray lost their legs and were heavily mutilated in many other ways too, such as having no skin as a result. Their hair also turned red. Eventually, when the government caught on to this, they shutdown the project and gave all the subjects a new life, including Gray. They now peacefully live in San Diego with their pet terrapins, years after the project.

(More than double the size, but 50 words is pretty low of a limit.)

The next OC is a self-aware data construct.

Does not have a gender since it sees no need for one.

The virtual avatar they choose to be seen as has white hair in a bob cut.

The virtual avatar lacks most facial features, instead doing a little smiley face like anime.

3 years, 6 months and 12 days. Created on September 14th, 2155.

Whatever they feel like in the moment. How? They just change their avatar as if they were on imvu or were a virtual youtuber.

They prefer dresses and shirts in Raygun Gothic-inspired style.

"Legs" lacking genitalia. They sometimes wear white or black pants. Sometimes a different color than the usual.

Like their avatar, they change their accessories.

They live in the Outer Hebrides and they are an ethnic Tuvaluan. They speak in a Scottish Accent.

They speak Nauruan and Nauhatl. Oh, and English of course.

Data Constructs can have ethnicities too!!!!

They're extremely knowledgeable due to being an AI, especially in anime and Japanese pop culture. Due to being data they're extremely difficult to kill.

They are adept to remembering information long forgotten by man, and able to come up with answers to questions within under a second. They also have a keen interest in martial arts.

By the end of the day they're still merely an AI and about as reliable as Chatgbt on a good day. They perpetually suffer from the flaws of auto-correct and the odd text-to-talk accent.

Their pet peeve is missing typos and bad grammer, especially missing Oxford commas, as this makes text hard to parse. Their only fear is being rejected by society for not being an "actual" person, or at least that's what they say, their real fear is being unplugged.

They enjoy learning about humans; their sociology, physical quirks, ability to adapt under duress, etc. This usually takes form of Deadly Games where captive humans are pitted against each other. The survival rate of the contestants are surprisingly high — so they can reuse them for future games. Often times they host these games not as a study, but simply because they are bored.

Their favourite human culture is India.
