Needs Help: Video Game.Athena

The current pic on Athena is uncredited artwork of the character with the American and Japanese box arts hidden in folders below it. My vote's to just use an upgrade of the Japanese box art (since, as I understand, that's the original version), maybe put the American box art on an IL page, and cut the character pic.

Thoughts?

EDIT: That pic is also used in the goddess Athena's entry on the character page.

I'm suspecting a one-handed-troper has done a lot of the work for the Athena pages, given how much gushing about her bikini is on her character page (and that pic on its main is not only also on Athena's character page, but also linked in one of her tropes for some reason; I brought it up on the gushing thread already.) I'm thinking, given that it's above an official (if low-quality) sprite, that a horny Entry Pimp put that sexy fanart of her anywhere he could, so I'm inclined to blast that picture in all of its occurrences into the ether. Maybe move the pic in Athena's folder to the top of her page, since it's official, better quality, and more closely matches the pic for the other Athena (although they're not from the exact same game)?

i double checked the characters page and both of the pics for princess athena are fanart (1, 2). the neo geo battle coliseum art is official but pretty low quality and not transparent

edit: this is the best i could do to make that art transparent and looking nice without sacrificing too much detail

At the risk of derailing the thread, I think that the current Japanese and American boxarts could work really well on the main for American Kirby Is Hardcore, better than the kind of underwhelming pics of the Trope Namer on there now. Could we have 4.1 (which has some English text) on the Video Game page and the current Japanese boxart pic on American Kirby Is Hardcore at the same time?

if one is a composite image and the other is standalone, it wouldn't be bad form to have both of them use the same pic. that's the same situation with American Kirby Is Hardcore and Kirby Air Ride right now after all. i'd be down for that

Also, the troper responsible for inserting the gratuitous fanart also dubiously rewrote several trope entries on the page to portray her outfit as bikini. The game itself clearly treats it as underwear not necessarily intended for swimming, with her apparently wearing it under a dress at first until she loses the dress.

I support the new picture and moving the American boxart to IL.

for now i removed the fan-art since that's an obvious no-go and swapped in the quality-upped japanese poster, at least as a temporary solution

I think I'd remove the North American cover from the caption and leave the rest as-is now.
