Holy crap, this series is freaking fantastic.
It had me at Jason tackling Damien over a cookie and spiraled on from there.
I also really like that it remembers and tries to incorporate everyone in the Batfamily.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Holy crap! It's getting a Live-Action Adaptation!
The team doing the live action did a Nightwing fan series and as also did two live action Death Battles (Nightwing vs Daredevil and Winter Soldier vs Red Hood).
Lelouch is fabulous. Imma Xehanort on You Tube, Twitter, and Gamefaqs. That would be the first official live action versions of Tim, Damian, Duke, Cassandra, and Stephanie, right?
Chapter 7. Vigilante bingo! Funny as this was, I think it would have been better if they weren't just sitting around talking. Either having this conversation during training or in actual combat. But that's just a minor quibble.
As much as I'm enjoying this series (and as well as it is doing), it does seem a bit too early to announce a live-action version.
Shh. We might actually get a young live action Robin this way.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireChapter 8. Crush (1/3). Dick canonically gives bad advice, but Duke somehow survives.
Chapter 9 Crush (2/3). I am now afraid for their secret identities, if this is normally how they go undercover.
I'm also wondering how long until the girl turns out to be the new villain... it does seem to be a trend in the Bat family.
Chapter 10 Crush (3/3). Good news is, she's not a villain...
Chapter 26. TMI. Always practice proper comm security.
Is anyone else reading this? It's apparently the most popular Batman property right now, so someone has to be.
I am. Its cute.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI am too, this is fun. Was pleasantly surprised to see it now being the Trope Image for Sherlock Scan!
Anyway #34: Recovery. lmao Jason Todd
It's one I enjoy reading, but forget to keep up with, so I usually catch up when this thread updates.
So, I just found this (thank you, update gods) and I have to ask: I like it but is Damian normally colored dark-skinned? It makes sense, considering that Talia is his mother and Ra's al Ghul is his grandfather, but I'm not sure that's something I see every time I glance at DC comics?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Damian's appearance varies pretty wildly Depending on the Artist; sometimes he's drawn visibly non-white, sometimes he's just as pale as Bruce. In general more recent comics have him with darker skin than earlier ones did.
#36: Belonging Pt. 1
What's this? A DC Property learning how to use Stephanie Brown properly and boiling her down to her essentials???

Yes, I am shocked, *shocked*.
"You can reply to this Message!"Belonging Pt. 2, being believed in.
#38: S.O.S.
I love how it plays on the Women Are Wiser trope by having Wonder Woman say the smart-aleck solution instead of actually helping with the tie lol (which was Hal's job here??)

Heh... Bat Burger. Or, rather, "Ha! Ha! Ha!"
An official Slice of Life webcomic about a grumpy guy and his adopted children. They occasionally fight crime. They mostly bicker.
From what I understand, this is a flagship and/or prototype for a number of other possible DC webcomics. It's brand new right now, but considering that it has more readers than all the other current Batman comics combined, chances are good that this is a trend that's going to continue.
We have a page.
