Double checked, triple checked, and it looks like no one has made a Shadows House thread yet, so here you go!

The manga has been a blast so far! Heard it updates for three weeks then takes a break for a week. The manga is much more intriguing than the anime; this I can say for certain. I mean, the gambit pile-ups and reveals leading to Maryrose & Rosemary's jump off the hallway connecting the children's building and the adult's building had my heart pumping! Now it looks like the falling action leading up to the denouement!
I hope this one ends happily...

Chapter 105:
I wonder who the fleeing shadow "Kate" found could be...

Could it possibly be Christopher? We know he apparently killed himself in order to spare Anthony, but since they Never Found the Body, it feels like a setup for him surviving. And if he survived, it's not our of the question that Rosemary and Maryrose are alive, too.

Though you could argue that the piece of cloth we saw of the person "Kate" stopped looked more like a dress than a robe. But either way, I'm willing to bet that it's a person from the mansion. If it isn't Christopher, then I wonder who it could be.

Yeah, the manga is pretty awesome so far! Great art, great world building and a bunch of lovable characters. Yes, you've seen most of these archetypes before, but I do like how they're done here.

I still maintain that I think Emilyko is a weird name since it's just a Western name with the Japanese word for "child" attached to it for some reason. And yes, I know why Kate chose that name for her Doll, both from her perspective and from a narrative perspective, but... Wasn't Emily different enough? Though I do think Emilico is a better spelling of it...

I mean, I understand the logic behind spelling it Emilyko, but that's not how english orthography rules work. Trailing y's turn into i's when you attach a suffix; sunny -> sunnier, candy -> candies, study -> studied. Expect for verbs, they keep the y, but still. And then Emiliko vs. Emilico is arbitrary because the 'ko' particular is transliteration of a non-english character and thus have doesn't a hard-and-fast associated rule. Ko is more standard because it's less ambiguous, but Co looks better here.

Chapter 106:
So it looks like the shadow Human!Kate/Emilico met turned out to be Kate Mirror, the shadow Emilico is paired with and the person who wishes to take back the Mirrors House, now the Shadows House... A big reveal!
I guess they had history long before the series started...

So the reason Kate has been plotting against the House of Shadow is because she was never a part of it from the start...? Interesting.

I expect we’ll get more explained about The House of Mirror next chapter.

That certainly adds another layer to Kate's reaction when Emilyko ruined the doll in chapter 11.

No wonder I haven't seen new chapters lately...
It looks like Shadows House was on hiatus since the last chapter and will be set to return on the 26th of August. Thanks, Reddit...

Chapter 107:
We essentially learn how Kate was brought into the world involving mysterious morphs, a takeover, a long-ass pregnancy, and the story of a noble named Catherine (or is it Katherine? I don't know...).

Chapter 108:
We got Kate's upbringing. She was initially a human, but she turned into a Shadow once she turned 12. As she figured out the lies from her childhood, she, now 13, set off alone and without telling her "grandmother" back to what was once the Mirrors House. If the next part of this story gets more tragic, I swear...

Roll credits. When Kate made it back to the island, she saw that it transformed into the place the story is based on, and the Mirrors House became the Shadows House.

Mirrorside gets a bit more creepy. WDYM "next stage"? I'm betting on this being a planned uprising.

Chapter 112:
Basically the set-up to the start of the series: Kate Mirror makes it to the Shadows House and witnesses the batch of kids that would later be part of the plot get indoctrinated in. This, along with other stuff, leads her to think that the Mirrors House was seized. By the end, she followed what the morph linked to John (thus forming the Shaun/John pair) did and took a liking to the circus girl that would later be Emilico.

Chapter 113:
Essentially the very start of the series, approaching the start of chapter 1. It ends with the human later to be known as Emilico, in her most brainwashed state, lashing out against Kate trying to tell the truth of the Shadows House.

Jesus, I had no idea Emilico could make a face like that! That was legitimately upsetting.

While Sara continues to have her ego up after Edward basically said to her "it's alright", Edward, Gerald, and Irene introduce a new character to take care of the Children's Wing while they're off to do the "Obligation" - LEWIS, the next foil in Kate Mirror's plans.
We also meet Taylor, a person with jurisdiction over Mirrorside.

Chapter 118:
The "Gathering of Roses", a meeting of the main cast pairs. Kate has figured out about the soot pigeon. She hoped to report it to the Star Bearers, but they aren't in a receptive mood. The air has been stiff around them as word of Lewis taking over the Children's Wing has spread. And so, the plan goes that each of them will warm up to each Star Bearer. Then, a summons as an adult has come to inspect the Children's Wing. Sara thought it was Edward, and the Star Bearers thought it was Lewis, but they were both wrong... It's Thomas. Oh no...
Hmmm... Could Lewis's power involve shapeshifting?

Chapter 119:
Looks like Thomas has revealed soot powers to the children in the hopes of sparking a reformation. It didn't seem like this was part of Edward's plan since Thomas's motive for this was to gain influence and 1-up Edward, but I feel like this'll give an advantage to him somehow...
