Looks like an old magazine ad...I can take or leave the current.
Not bad, but how about the Atari cover art◊ (cropped to just the right side, obviously)?
(Annoyed grunt)
back lol
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.
I prefer the current. Frogger's playfield is more iconic than any box art/arcade flyer.

Keet cleanupI agree
I'm not a fan of using in-game screenshots when art exists so I'll say 3 is good.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Keep current, per

Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I agree that the main gameplay screen is iconic, but like Karxrida, I prefer artwork over screenshots for video game articles, so I'm not changing my vote to the current.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Movies and TV Shows have iconic moments too, but I never see anyone arguing to make those page images, only ever for games.
Official Art > Title Screens > Random Screenshots. Every time.
I agree with both of the things you said.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Frogger is a rare case though where its playing field is more iconic than its title screen or its official art, both little-known by comparison, mainly due to being Port Overdosed and remade a hundred different times

mwopThat might be true, but the cover art is still more visually appealing. I prefer 3.
Crowner?
Primis: But unlike movies and TV shows, this is the only screen in (the original arcade version of) Frogger. For people who are insisting on box art, could the art for the 1997 remake and 1998 ports work?
Keet cleanup
Technically the '97 game is a completely different game from the original, it's not just a port / remake, but the page seems to cover all "Frogger" titles, so it could still work.

Also, the same cover art is used for the 1998 ports of the arcade game for the Sega Genesis, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game.com.
Keet cleanupClock is set.
Thanks, it's hooked.
Votes bump; one in the green right now.
Calling for the crop of 3.

I was thinking the page could use one of the arcade posters, like this:
