I think new live blogs are being created,it's just tricky to find them,I think
New theme music also a boxWell it doesn't help that the Live Blogs search lacks a "Latest Created" option.
Cassie | he/they | But will it stop the pain forever? / I just can't be sureIt looks like one can get to the latest entry by going to the page, leaving it in the (what I presume to be) the default setting of "Latest Updated", and then going to the very last page and scrolling to the bottom.
For some reason the entries are given from oldest to newest, meaning that the first-posted entry is the one at the top of the list ,and the last-posted entry is all the way at the end of the list.
That said, I am unsure of this, as, while the list looks to be largely in that order, it also seems to be somewhat jumbled: on the first page I see entries from 2011 sandwiched between entries from 2010 and vice versa, while on the last page (at time of writing) the list goes February 2020 to January 2020 to February 2020 to December 2020 (a few of these) and finally to February 2021. o_0
(There seems have been an entry added today, by the way.)
My Games & WritingOkay, I retract the bit over Live Blogs being essentially dead, given that the most recent liveblogs were made in 2021. The live blogs being sorted in a manner that puts the latest ones last made me think it's a dead artifact when it's definitely not.

Cassie | he/they | But will it stop the pain forever? / I just can't be sureThe liveblog system is definitely an artifact. We've pointed out its problems to the developers on multiple occasions and they more or less ignore them in favor of higher priorities.
I understand the need to prioritize resources, but if we aren't going to support the damn thing, we should just get rid of it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I think it is kinda freeloader-ish, but still more geared for long-lasting info, and that if we want to keep this, it should be overhauled to have easier integration with works (but not now, obviously). These days blogs aren't as popular as 10 years ago, and if someone wanted to make one, they'd use Blogspot, Tumblr, or Youtube, where you're more likely to make and keep track of an audience.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Not keen on language like 'freeloading' to be perfectly honest, and yes there other platforms right now that let you liveblog, back then people did that here and it was great fun
I never touched the live blogging feature myself and was surprised it still existed, there are lots of little features from the previous version of the site that are long gone and no longer work,I myself miss the little green bar that popped up tell you had a private message

Seeing as how the Live Blogs were all made in 2010-2013 or something (with the latest updated one having it's comments removed as spam), is there still any reason why it's still around and listed as an important link alongside Ask The Tropers, Reviews, and the Trope Launch Pad?
