Apparently Pingu's a Swedish show, not a British-Swiss one.
..I still won't believe it, since Wikipedia says it's Swiss-British.
Anyways, sorry for that little nitpick, just gonna get that out of my system.
Favourite penguin species? Mine's all of them.

New theme music also a boxFor me it's a tie between emperor and macaroni penguins. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.Bump. I can't believe I just remembered this now. ^_^;; What discussion about penguins would be complete without mentioning the movie March of the Penguins? :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.Remember the Penguins in Super Mario 64?
Yup,I remember chucking them off the slide!
New theme music also a boxMy two-year-old loves the first season DVD of Pingu, which has also created an affection for penguins in general. Especially penguins that are also puppets. But the DVD was old and used already when we got it, so we were on the lookout for more DV Ds with Pingu. Well, we found a DVD of a later season, made in the 2000's, but no-one in the family likes that one. It's way too busy, fast-paced and kinda stupid to be much fun for a small child, or the parents. The older Pingu is better suited for young'uns because the plot is slower and easier to follow, but the stories also reflect more stuff that small children can relate to.
I don't remember March of the Penguins that well but I do know the venture for the next generation is long and torturous.
I had a dream about a topic about penguins that I started, and now I'm making it a reality
Noot noot!
