Does Not Illustrate: I Love You Vampire Son

The current trope image◊ shows two characters being affectionate, but nothing really to indicate that one of them is a vampire that has turned the other. Maybe it's stated in the text, but it's too small and fancy to read.

Potential replacements:

• 1: Andrew and his wife Mary◊ from the original I, Vampire, published as part of House of Mystery.
• 2: Malack and his newly turned spawn◊ from The Order of the Stick.

Both are a little wordy, so any suggestions that could demonstrate the trope more visually would be great. Also the OOTS example could be spoilery, since the turned character is one of the main cast, though I don't think it's too much of an issue when divorced of context.

1.2 > 1.1 > current, although I'm not really crazy about any of them.

Definitely pull the current; not a huge fan of either of the suggestions.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I do like 1.1.

I like 1.1 best, 1.2 could also work.
