I'm considering trying my hand at this, but there's nothing about how to write it in the So You Want To Write A Fan Fic page on here.
I want to make the fanfic interesting, but obviously not stick too closely to The Stations of the Canon to allow for originality, yet it make it something that's worth reading.
How often, as a Self-Imposed Challenge, have you tried to write Original Flavour fanfic, even though you've got an Original Character or two?

For something like Supergirl (2015) or The Flash (2014), how could I do Original Flavour with a plotline that's set in an Alternate Timeline?
