Pair it up with a shot of Mystique's yellow eyes.

I believe that Mystique example is Game Face, given that it's intentional (IIRC) on her part.

I'm not a great fan of the latest suggestion. Maybe if it could be made clearer.

BTW, my suggestion (11) got neither positive nor negative replies. Would that work maybe?

Pennywise with very non-human hands?

Mystique is not an example, she can shapeshift her eyes easily throughout the movie. This is a showing-the-audience-what's-up-shot, not a glamour failure.

I'm not all that familiar with Pennywise, but we could show several shots of him shapeshifting but failing to shapeshift his hands, or something like that?

I'd say the pokemon image is still the best suggestion here, and I think it's time to crowner this.

Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!

[up][up]I actually like that. Even if it's not a perfect example, it illustrates the point well.

Edit: Another counter-suggestion. A few panels from this comic (or some involving the previous and next one) maybe?

The clock's up and I'm not seeing enough consensus on anything; locking up.
