Technically you don't need to do a 10-pull: the guarantee also occurs if you do single pulls until you get someone. And if you get someone before 10, you just save resources.

This. Recently learned to just spend the minimum rolls to save up. I'm a bit grateful that Hellagur's banner got moved so at least I have more time to save for him.

So this is a new event, right? What's the word on optimal farming techniques?

I think all events work the same, you earn the currency proportional to 10x the amount of sanity spent.

Though unlike the last event, apparently the material drops aren't really better than farming normal maps for them so only stage 5 is worth farming after clearing everything out.

Well that was easy, I'm done with the stages and the C Qs already.

Now for farming.

Rolls: Two headhunting permits, one got me Popukar, the other Ptilopsis.

SW-EV-5 is kicking my butt.

Somehow I still haven't managed to 3-star it (the drones keep getting through) but on the other hand I did a couple of single-shot headhunts until I got Executor and after a couple of rounds of PR-C-2 I'm almost at enough Intelligence to get Flamebringer.

I'm really loving all these event sidestories.

Got Executor from banner...finally a drop that match the rate up (and thankfully not another dupe Silence).

Being a gay man in Rhodes Island means your options are quite limited although Dokutah is more believably ambiguously gendered than, say, Kiran.◊

Got the penguin and shotgun angel, tho I would need to invest heavily on the penguin to make her OP, which I can't do right now cause I'm poor. Really enjoying the stories too. Patriot is a cool guy. I'd like him to switch sides and be recruitable. Unfortunately, with what will happen to his "daughter" after the release of ch 6, I don't think it will happen. Also, RIP Scout and his 12 member team.

Just read the short story on Ifrit. I thought Projekt Red being child-like was just fanon. She and Ifrit both need to study and are illiterate. Seems Frostleaf is one too. Is Rhodes Island just a foster care now?

Red's dialog is badly translated in English. I don't know how it is in Chinese, but in Japanese she can barely form a complete sentence. But the translators must have interpreted that as "terse badass" because they didn't know any better.

The implication is that she was raised without any significant human contact, probably as a living weapon who only ever interacted with her "handler" and her targets. In that sense she's close to a feral child.

Frostleaf is a former child soldier who's known nothing but fighting all her life (but at least she's more socialized). She only "retired" when her entire squad died and she was presumed dead by her country.

At 162 cm, as tall as Lappland, and stronger than her (according to Lappland anyway), she's quite the "child". Her development must have been something else. Raised as a weapon from birth, genetically engineered or even both.
