Our Avatars Are In A Room Together: Classic Edition

Also known as "Our Avatars Actually Are In A Room Together", or "Shubby's Room Of Magical Wonder".

Hello! My name is Wacky, and I'll be your host.

Over the past few years, the original Our Avatars Are In A Room Together thread has changed a lot. It has morphed from a Forum Game to a full-fledged Roleplay (it is currently hosted in the RP section), become significantly continuity and plot-heavy, and most notably, changed its setting altogether from an actual room to a city.

This thread is to be an attempt at bringing back the thread's roots. Consider it an Alternate Universe continuity of the original thread where the setting change never happened.

The setup is self-explanatory. Our avatars are together in a room and hang out. Simple!

The rules are:

• No godmodding.
• The action stays in the room, no derails!
• Plot and continuity is to be kept loose. Character Development is okay, some multi-page epic is not. Make sure anyone can jump in at any moment and not be confused.
• OCs are allowed, just find a suitable faceclaim!
• This is all about fun interactions, so interact!
• Most importantly, have fun!

Having said that, let's begin!

   Mudses, mudses, glorious mudses... Nothing quite like it for cooling the bloodses... Na-na-na!~♪   

-The ever bubbly Shubby-Niggurath happily skips along the empty room. She reaches for a painting in the wall and adjusts it slightly.-

   Ah, perfectses!   

-She plops down on the couch and looks around the place. The new room looks just like the old one!-

-It had taken her a while to rebuild her favorite interdimensional relaxation spot. Being an Outer God is tiring, and what better place to chill out than a cozy room in the middle of the multiverse? Unfortunately, the old room had been destroyed in a freak incident involving rats, but she's sure nobody could tell the difference!-

-She wonders who will be the first to come in...-

Tsathoggua enters the room.

"Wow, good work on the new room, Shubby! It looks just like the old one!"

Smiling, the Old God plops down on a beanbag chair and makes himself at home.

A man who appears to be wearing a robot mask and gloves enters the room. His small green eyes give an unblinking stare and the rainbows on the side of his visor move and change color. His walk is a bit stiff and he doesn’t know how to properly introduce himself.

oh look, it's one of the threads that got me into RP-ing

-There are two creepy, very heavily-armed Russian ladies in the room-

-One is this super tall woman◊ giving everyone else in the room a stink eye, her partner included. Her left arm is constantly hovering above the knife sheathed on her thigh-

-The other one looks considerably more relaxed◊ sitting in the sofa. Her smile would almost be welcoming if not for the fact she has a big honking machine gun leaning right next to her-

-...wait, when did they enter the room?-

-She observes as the new people slowly come in. A bag of chips materializes in her hands, and she begins to eat.-

Say, -the short-haired woman slides closer to Shubby- I can't help but to overhear that this is a "new" room. What happened to the old one?

-Munch munch.-

   Oh, the old room's dimensional foundationses were eaten by ratses. It's a long storyses. But this one is just like the oldses one!   

-She smiles.-

Rats, I see...

-she glances at the other woman, who is now visibly eyeing the walls and floor-

I have to say, the room is really quite cozy. You did a good job with the decor.

A grey, bald, sunglass wearing being slides into the room, dabbing “Have no, maybe some fear, for I, Anon, am here!”

The robot man looks around at everyone.

”You are....not human?” he asks out loud to no one in particular.

His voice sounds as if it’s being run through a vocoder, but there is still a hint of his human voice, having a noticeable accent.

-The tall woman suddenly shoots a glare at Anon, then at the robot man-

To be frank, I was wondering if we're the only non-humans here.

-Assuming the robot man's body is connected to the internet, he may be feeling that... something is probing his network ports, looking for ways to get in-

Tsathoggua raises an eyebrow, wondering how a large furry beast such as himself could possibly be mistaken for human.

A cloaked woman with blonde hair and pale skin◊ walks in. Upon seeing the amount of people in the room, she pulls down her hood.

”Not human. You are not human.” He nods a little bit.

After a pause, he looks up and says, ”I used to be human.”

Anon looks at themselves “...Am I human? Maybe, maybe not? I don’t know! Haha!”

Oh? What made you stop being a human?

”The accident,” he answers nonchalantly. ”It happened to both of us. Both me and my best friend Thomas.”

He puts his hand on his chest.
