Campbell Country seems to be defined as horror set in places other than Lovecraft Country. To me, this is too broad of a definition for a trope. In my opinion, we should probably limit Campbell Country to horror set in the British Isles or even just Western Europe. Examples that don't fit this definition can be moved over to Southern Gothic, Weird West, or Überwald if possible. Does anyone else agree or is Campbell Country fine as is?

The Campbell Country page is a bit confusing. The description and the name seem to imply it's referring to horror set in Great Britain, but the definition seems to be horror that's not set in New England. I agree, we should refine this trope so that it only applies to horror set in Britain or Western Europe.

Bump. I kind of got distracted after making this thread and forgot about it. I want more feedback before I start a TRS thread. Am I wrong for thinking that horror that isn't set in Lovecraft Country is too broad to be a trope?
