Not Tropeworthy: All Blue Entry

I see now that there's a Captain Obvious pothole in the caption. This is a pet hate of mine and I'm zapping it.

Same here; I just didn't want to go against the IP note.

Edit: I can't think of any more ideas for either page. I think the Administrivia page mainly needed to lose the self-demonstrating aspect; I think keeping it brief is fine, per Clear, Concise, Witty and Brevity Is Wit, since it already clearly states what an All Blue Entry is.

Sorry for double posting, but does the sandbox need any further changes, or is it OK to make the Administrivia and Self-Demonstrating pages? I personally think the wording for the Administrivia page is fine, and the self-demonstrating aspect of Main.All Blue Entry was the main thing keeping it from being in line with the pages in the Administrivia/ namespace.

I'd be ok losing the image from the Administrivia version of the page.

Looks good otherwise.

(Especially seeing as I'm a lazy bum and haven't written anything myself...)

I plan to expand the administrivia page a bit more so the lone paragraph doesn't feel too lonely.

A rather humorous side of me wanted to have the SD page image be something blue (maybe a blue hole or entryway), because why not go the distance? That is, if the current goes to the administrivia page.

I'm leaning toward removing the image from the Administrivia page and keeping it on the Self-Demonstrating page.

Works for me.

I overlooked the second paragraph of this post (my previous post was posted close to midnight according to the timestamp, so I was probably tired). I'm fine with changing the self-demonstrating page's image to something blue instead of keeping it as-is.

The sandbox hasn't been edited since I removed the image from the Administrivia draft, but expanding the Administrivia draft was suggested. I can't think of anything myself, but I will say that I think the self-demonstrating draft is fine as-is.

Sorry for the triple post, but Sandbox.All Blue Entry hasn't been edited since I edited it on November 16. Is it OK to just put everything in place, so we can get this thread out of the way? I'll add that a mod would probably need to lock Administrivia.All Blue Entry when it's in place; Administrivia.Locked Pages lists Main.All Blue Entry as a locked page due to issues with edits made to it.

Edit: I went ahead and posted a notice on Main.All Blue Entry's discussion page, so that'll be done when this thread's work is finished.

Edit: If this isn't an unreasonable idea, I may go ahead and move the sandboxes' text on or after December 16 (a month after the edit I previously mentioned) if no one has any further ideas, unless there's consensus and/or mod approval to move it sooner. Regardless of when the sandboxes are implemented, some wicks would have to be changed; adding the page to Wick Namespace Migration would probably help with that.

I was previously wondering if I should have paged you, since you mentioned that before, and my decision to wait at least ten days was specifically to see if anyone else had any ideas for the sandbox.

After you're done, then I suppose we could put everything in place sooner than that, since I don't think anyone else has mentioned wanting to add anything (at least one person, bitemytail, mentioned being fine with what's already there after the potholes' removal, but didn't mention any further ideas).

Anyway, feel free to move the sandbox's contents to Administrivia.All Blue Entry and SelfDemonstrating.All Blue Entry when you're done, because I can't think of anything else to add myself, and I don't think anyone else has mentioned adding anything. Mainly, all I could think to do was post in the Locked Pages thread^note Due to the lock reason given for Main.All Blue Entry (which I think means the lock would need to be transferred to the Administrivia page), and since its lock means non-staff users can't make it redirect to Administrivia.All Blue Entry after everything is in place.

Edit: The redirects Main.All Blue Article, Main.All Blue Entries, and Main.All Red Entry will need to be moved to Administrivia.All Blue Article, Administrivia.All Blue Entries, and Administrivia.All Red Entry. The first two have wicks on an Italian index, so they'd be easy to take care of, but the main page should probably be listed on the Wick Namespace Migration page until the wicks are taken care of (there are just over 100, so it's not extremely high, but wick migration might take a bit longer due to the holidays).

I imagine Main.All Red Entry may be a bit trickier, as it's meant to serve as a tabber between Main.All Blue Entry and DarthWiki.All Red Entry (see also DarthWiki.All Blue Entry).

In that case, it might be worth keeping Main.All Red Entry as a redirect while cutting the rest of the redirects after namespace migration is done.

Alternatively, maybe cut Main.All Red Entry in favor of making SugarWiki.All Red Entry as a redirect instead of Administrivia.All Red Entry. I feel like moving the redirect to Sugar Wiki would be more fitting; we have SugarWiki.Idiot Programming as a redirect to SugarWiki.Genius Programming, and DarthWiki.Genius Programming as a redirect to DarthWiki.Idiot Programming, in both cases for the reason you said the Main.All Red Entry redirect exists.

Edit: Maybe SugarWiki.All Red Entry could redirect to SelfDemonstrating.All Blue Entry instead of Administrivia.All Blue Entry.

Sugar Wiki actually sounds like a better idea, TBH.

I think the self-demonstrating page should (maybe) acknowledge Broken Record All Blue Entry and Evil Overlord All Blue Entry.

Anyway, is the sandbox ready to be put in place? At least three people (including myself) have said it looks good.
