Spider-Man: Far From Home (spoilers)

Honestly my only stake in this is wanting the damn cliffhanger resolved.

Right. First, it was alleged that Disney wanted 50/50. Then it turned out they wanted 30/70, then it turned out Sony was the one who offered 70/30.

And then there was 75/25, but I don't know who offered that.

But yeah, none of these are concrete statements. Just claims. I don't even care anymore. I just want Spidey to stay put.

That's what I've been saying.

I don't care who's at fault! I just want them to fix it!

But I don't know if Sony is willing to do that, and Disney has enough stuff on their plate that they could honestly survive losing Spidey here.

Basically, we (the fans) lose, unless we just decide to riot and decimate both sides.

And then we lose everything because we tried to toss the baby with the bathwater.

The baby is already clinging for dear life over the damn cliff as far as I'm concerned.

It's too far down to reach in time, even if you repel down after it. Little bugger is just gonna slip away right as you reach him. You can't save him no matter how hard you try, so all you can do is swear bloody bloody vengeance upon the ones who threw him out over the damn cliff with the bathwater in the first place.

Make all of them pay somehow, because we loved that baby and wanted it to be with its family where it belonged; a family that had just expanded with all it's cousins, but now that won't happen.

....And yes, I am aware how insane I sound. Y'all are free to ignore the words even if you grasp my point.

Of course, I also acknowledge that Vengeance Feels Empty, so I guess there's not much point to my idea either.

And deprive everybody else of the rest of the family they liked for the sake of a dead child that will stay dead regardless- indeed, maybe because- of your efforts to “avenge” it?

I do genuinely like Homecoming and FFH and I've loved Tom Holland as this character, but I do need to side more with dmcgreif on this one. There's just so much Disney's been doing that's understandably rubbed many people the wrong way, I'm okay with them having a taste of humble pie.

Seen that a lot, but from my perspective it move like there was a collective shoulder shrug on the Disney side of things with an exception of a few individuals.

If 2 years go by and Sony and Disney haven;t worked anything out by then, that's when I'll start worrying.

100% of Blip survivors were brought back in survivable situations. Not one person who blipped has come forward to testify about being killed by their return circumstance.

Cool they made a Daily Bugle website... but the Spider-Man: Far From Home ads at the bottom kinda ruin the effect.

And there's also the fact that, y'know, Spidey's not in the MCU anymore... so that kinda kills the website for me.
