So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrHis body became the weeds, and Dimitri eats the weeds. We are all part of the great circle of life.

The “circle of life” was mentioned in The Lion King. In the movie, Simba kills Scar after the latter kills Mufasa, Simba’s father. He also meets Nala along the way and falls in love with her. Simba then becomes king of the savanna.
In Three Houses, Dimitri (or someone in his army but whatever) kills “Cornelia” after the latter initiated the Tragedy of Duscur, which killed King Lambert, Dimitri’s father. If the player so chooses, he can meet a girl in the army along the way and fall in love with her. Dimitri then becomes king of Faerghus.
The takeaway? Azure Moon’s plot is a ripoff of The Lion King’s plot.
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrWho are Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Timon and Pumba?
Felix or Rodrigue would be Timon, Dedue would be Pumbaa.
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrFelix and Dedue would sing the most unenthusiastic version of Hakuna Matata ever. I need to hear this. Now.

Moving on to a less-jokey topic, what exactly was the experiment in Remire Village supposed to accomplish for the Agarthans? Testing a compound that turned people into veiny rage zombies?
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrI assumed it had something to do with the controlled production of Demonic Beasts.
The point of Remire was testing what Nabatean blood does to human subjects. We know from Balthus that drinking it will probably grant you a Crest, but about half of the time the person drinking it disappears mysteriously. Agartha's experiments during 3H seem directed towards giving the empire weapons to topple the church and conquer the Kingdom and Alliance. The fact that Agarthans are later involved in battles where normal people (students, the enemies in Yuri and Constance's paralogue) turn into demonic beasts soon after seems to imply they quickly refined the process to create them.
That makes sense. So, if someone was injected with Nabatean blood it would go something like this?
Injection -> new Crest or Injection -> rage zombie -> Demonic Beast
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrAnd they managed to make artificial Crest Stones. What they need is something to activate said stones.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Also, judging by what happens at the end of Silver Snow, the side effect of going berserk isn't restricted to just the Argathan version. Dedue apparently also figures it out toward the end of Crimson Flower.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiWell the ones they wield are real stones, so likely a surge of emotion is likely what fuels it.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Man there must be an influx of stones then if there are so many demonic beasts.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. They can be produced artificially, so there's that.
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrProbably not FDA approved though.
Like i joked earlier, demonic beasts don't actually have much tactical advantage and Hubert's paralouge proves even the Agarthans don't have reliable control over them, though that's par for the course.
Though i'm still curious where the other beasts come from, like those two from Ferdinand Von Aegir's C support.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Beasts in general seem to come from non-Nabateans coming into contact with Nabatean blood or parts. Regular giant beasts (used to be normal animals) are numerous in Zanado because it's a Nabatean burial ground, and they seem capable of reproducing, hence giant beasts being relatively commonplace. The shared origin must be why anti-beast weapons and combat arts affect all beasts, regardless of them being Giant, Demonic, Umbral or Divine.
This seems to come from Nabateans having a beast form, but since that was how Sothis made them, they are in more control, even being called "Divine Beasts."
Yes that's a reasonable explanation, though i find it amusing that this means the Agarthans OR Rhea didn't bother trying to dig up any left over stones to use/keep them in the tomb.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I mean, it's also possible that magic stones have other sources. Maybe the original demonic beasts produce magic stones, and when they're destroyed they leave it behind along with the crest stones.
Maybe Sothis's power can infuse rocks as well as soil? That'd be enough really.
I'm just getting the image in a post Azure Moon world where Rhea is in retirement and tries farming, but then the soil just creates demonic fruits and vegetables.
You all know the reference.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. It's funnier when you imagine her selling them at the local farmer's market anyway.
"I swear to Sothis, they're non-GMO."
" Lady Rhea, your carrot is biting one of my merchants "
" That's because it's a very healthy carrot blessed by the Goddess Herself "
" Well i guess a religious customer would buy it. "

You know how Petra tries to help Bernie shoot a rabbit, only for the bunny to just up and attack Bernie instead? I'm seeing this now play out with Bernie deciding to go back to just vegetables right at the same time Rhea brings in her carrots.
Petra probably thinks this is awesome though.
