[up] Yes, or that. After failing to save his own family, pulling a Heroic Sacrifice to save another family would also be a logical conclusion for his story arc.

Due to the Darker and Edgier tone of the show, it's likely we won't get a perfect Happy Ending - but killing off Spear and Fang without it contributing to the survival of something greater would make it a very unsatisfying Shoot the Shaggy Dog story. My original guess would have been that Fang would die to save Spear's life - but after the ending of Episode 5, killing off Fang in Episode 10 would be a bit repetitive, so I believe it's more likely that it will be Spear who dies in the end.

Does anyone know where to access the leaked clip with the rabid sauropod from an upcoming episode?

Upcoming episode? I thought the series had ended or at least was on an extended break.

No, there are five more episodes scheduled for 2020, and apparently these five images are from an upcoming episode.

[up] It was real. The whole night was lead into surprise premiere of upcoming new episodes for Adult Swim's programming, including Primal.

So far the episode ("Plague of Madness") doesn't seem to be up on Adult Swim's website at the moment, so you'll have to hope someone DVR'd the showing.

[up]Is it possible that "Plague of Madness" is actually meant to be Episode 7, not Episode 6? Because an Unexplained Recovery would ruin the emotional impact of Episode 5 to me.

I just realized that this episode might have come out at a bad time, given that we're in the middle of a pandemic and this episode is about a horrific disease.

Didn't Fang die in episode 5? They're not airing this show out of order are they? I thought, for a minute that maybe Fang was just a figment of Spear's imagination, but he rode her for a bit here, so now I'm not sure what's going on.

Fang dying isn't really stated. It could be inferred but you could also interpret it as her just being really injured. Although the lack of explanation for her recovery is odd. I expected at least an episode about that.

Do we know what their schedule is going to be for airing the rest of the new season, or if they're going to be re-running this episode?

Until the rest of the episodes air or Word of God confirms otherwise, I'll treat "Plague of Madness" as taking place continuity-wise before "Rage of the Ape-Men", to get around Fang's Unexplained Recovery.

I've heard some people postulate that Plague of Madness does take place after Rage of the Ape-Men but for whatever reason it was aired out of order from the rest of the second half.

Maybe they wanted a more stand alone episode to air than one directly following up on a cliffhanger.

I realized that there are some parallels between "Rage of the Ape-Men" and "Jack Learns to Jump Good" (namely, a primitive human fighting a horde of apes). Someone should do a mash-up of the fight scenes of those two.
