Mortal Kombat 11 Leak/Spoiler Thread

Since the game has been out early and most of the story is already leaked, plus the first couple of DLC fighters datamined, i thought it would be good to start a thread to avoid spoiling other people that want to play the game blind.

So, has anyone seen the arcade endings yet?

A few. So far, it seems the main gist is people killing Kronika and resetting the timeline.

Baraka's has him make a timeline where Tarkatans rule with him the Shang Tsung of Mortal Kombat, noting that "Tarkatans never ran out of meat."

D'Vorah has her make a timeline where bugs and humans swap places so the latter can be stomped on.

Geras has him make a timeline without gods because he believes they just screw everything up. Kind of neat if you think about it.

By the way, the dataminers have found the subtitle data for the intro dialogues, some of the intro dialogues for the DLC characters are there.

I gotta say, I'm liking Fujin's personality here.

I just saw Jacqui's ending. Now im depressed.

Also, bet Jax's is going to piss a certain group of people off

I'm amused by how Hanzo!Scorpion manages to transfer all his character development to Wraith!Scorpion before dying.

It's like the writers are "They won't let us keep Scorpion not undead. But we can totally keep the character work we did."

Since this is the spoiler thread when you say stuff like "Jax's ending is going to piss people off" and "Jacqui's makes me depressed" you gotta share what they actually are maaaaaan.

x3 Thank god for that too, because if they used that as an excuse to keep Scorps as a Revenge Before Reason dumbass again, that would've been hacky as fuuuuuck.

Yeah, the point of these threads is to freely talk about spoilers.

By the way, going by Sindel's intro dialogues, it seems the devs are aware how disliked she was for killing all those heroes in MK 9.

Also, intro between Jacqui Briggs and Sindel reference The Princess Bride.

Jacqui: My Name is Jacqueline Briggs.

Sindel: I killed your father.

Jacqui: Prepare to die.

And i gotta say, the datamine dialogue is making me happy that we could be getting guests characters that can talk this time.

So what's your favorite leaked Fatality so far?

I like both of Frost's finishers.

10:53 for Jacqui's ending. Probably the biggest Tear Jerker among them.

skarlett's ending is badass. Her VA really chews the scenery and turns up the ham factor.

Frost is so cool in this game that she honestly makes sub look boring in comparison. Yeah I like her more now.

So did anyone see Kabal x Sareena coming? I sure didn't.

I love that the characters narrate their own endings this time.

ELDER GOD BO RAI CHO

Since one of Jacqui's skins seems to be based on what she's wearing in Jax's ending, i hope we eventually get skins based on Sonya's God Squad ending.

Saw Frost's ending. God she is such an edgelord, and that's saying something considering this is MK.

What's her deal anyway? Any particular reason she's the story mode unlock?

I mean, the only character that comes close to being an edgelord is Noob, and even so, he's legitimately cool.

I liked the story mode for the most part though aspects of it did seem done for convenience sake and I feel like it was two halves trying to be pieced together

IE Dark Raiden ceases to Exist the moment The timelines go screwy... So really the Main character of this trilogy just goes POP with little to no fanfare

I mean I loved the Trippy revelation Scene but I feel Dark Raiden and Past Raiden having that moment would have made more sense then how it played out -though many called extra timeline shenanigans back in MK 9... it did seem kind of a stretch to tie it into Raiden and Liu Kang having a falling out.

Raiden resolving his Liu Kang problem ties back into near the End of MK 9 when Quan Chi questioned him on whether he was willing to pay his own Soul... again it would have had twice the effect if it was in fact Dark Raiden doing it but Raiden is ultimately the good guy... He'd rather save you then kill you

Kotal both got his due and got bodied!

They keep bringing up Current Erron Black but he never shows up to show his Past self up

Sektor got Robbed

They really make no Attempt to explain where the fuck Takeda and Jin is... even though Takeda is Shirai Ryu

Skarlet has her proper hair color in Story 'Red with black tips' but in arcade has the reverse!

I feel like Frost is a bad case of She's informed Sympathetic but is never Shown to be Sympathetic

Hence why most people Scratch their heads at Sub and Raiden's lament that she could have been more then her ambitions

I think present Erron Black shows up exactly once, when the outworld crew storm the colisseum to save Kotal.

If anything, they also completely ignore to explain what happened to Reptile, Ermac, Ferra/Torr. Basically all of Kotal followers are nowhere to be seen

Which does pretty much ead to the climax being all the old blood characters fighting

Also, dissapointed that Cetrion is another case of Light Is Not Good and a lackey of her mom.

Elder Gods once again either useless or evil

Fairly convenient for Cetrion to get Rid of ALL the other Elder gods... all because She's Kronika's child and she'll get a spot with Shinnok

So what happens to Kung Jin or Takeda, if anything?

they just don't get mentioned
