This is a forum dedicated to talking about that cartoon you watched as a kid you knew even then was terrible but nobody talks about it today. This ain’t a complaint forum, this is just analyzing those cartoons the rest of the universe has forgotten or at least tried to

Most of us have either seen or are familiar with the G1 My Little Pony cartoon, but does anyone remember the backup segments on the show (they would show one 10 minute MLP cartoon, and rotate 3 other cartoons as the second half of the show). Dont hear many people talking about Glo-friends, Potato Head Kids, or Moondreamers nowadays (the fact that they arent on the DVD or streaming versions doesnt help matters either).

I guess those were potential toy pitches that they had laying around, so they interjected it in the show. A lot of 80s shows were just toy commercials

Rescue Heroes was my jam when I was a little kid. I wanted to grow up to be Billy Blazes. [lol] Looking back, the show was obviously very made to sell the action figures, but I loved it to pieces as a little kid and always looked forward to when it would come on on TV.

I actually still have a couple of Rescue Heroes tapes. Been ages since I watched any of them, though.
