OK, here's where this thread is standing, with the unlocking:
Given the widespread backlash and complaining about certain aspects of the work (i.e. Dexit), we wanted to communicate very clearly what we are not willing to put up with: prolonged, circular complaining (or wonking).
Of course, with a controversial subject that has a large impact on the gameplay, Dexit is in one of those areas where there it may be on-topic to discuss it, but the nature of that discussion can wildly vary. As has been said elsewhere, we ix-nayed discussion of Dexit entirely because it never seemed to happen without devolving into that kind of complaining.
However, we're willing to unlock the thread after this 3-day cooldown period because the Pokemon General thread has been stable enough. And -
Can I discuss Dexit?
Yes. But if there is prolonged wonking on it, the thread just becomes an echo chamber of complaints and we do not like that. No one likes that. The same rules as ever apply. Be a constructive, healthy space. Have conversations about what you like, and what you don't like, but the thread should not get locked into a series of bitter complaints.
If you have questions or concerns about mod implementation or action, we have a thread for that here.
Alright? Thank you all for waiting this out. I hope we're all good now.

...But Cramorant doesn’t have “pek” in its name...
Pecking is a bird thing.

It also confirms a number of Pokemon we hadn't seen before including Aegislash, Sudowudo, and Gardevior are in Sw Sh.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Well, that means that the Aegislash memes are going away. Or going to be put in overdrive. Something.
Gardevoir was in the last direct, walking around in Pokemon Camp.
There's also Sableye and the Espurr line.
It's been 3000 years…Ooh. Sableye. One of my favorites.
Japanese site for the dynamax app has codes for the Pokemon, which reveals pre evos or not.
So this means Corviknight is the final form of a three-stage bird, possibly the regional bird. Alcremie and Drednaw are second stage. Polteagist is also second stage, but the lack of Gigantamax notifier makes it look like it could evolve again? Rolycoly and Wooloo can evolve.

There's no guarantee that every fully evolved mon will get a gigantamax form, polteageist may well be the end of it's line
True enough, but still I wouldn't mind it being Gen 8's three stage ghost.
weird, polteageist seemed more like a single stage
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaNow that you mention it, Polteageist does remind me a bit of Lampent. I'm guessing its pre-evolution is a teacup. Either it is fully evolved or it has a further evolution, but unless it's a tray, I'm not sure how much farther you can go with the tea-set theme.

Maybe it becomes a huge ass kettle/tea dispenser.
One of those fancy teacup pyramids where you pour tea into the top cup until it overflows and trickles down into the next layer down, then the next, ect.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Thats so very strange. If Alcremie and Dreadnaw are second stages, why do they havw gigantixmax formes? Why does Alcremie have so many variations? Are you saying Evoilite Gogantimax.could be viable?
Just because they are evolved forms of other Pokemon does not mean they can evolve further. "Second stage" just means the Pokemon is the second stage of evolution, it does not necessarily mean there exists a third stage. I assume that Alcreamie and Drednaw are just 2-stage Pokemon.
Leaks say that pikachu has a g-max form. This isn't mega evolution
Well, I knew a datamine would happen at some point, but I'm glad we're still in the dark about most of it.
It's been 3000 years…Another point for the leak, as both Grookey and Soble were said to turn into a gorilla and a chameleon respectively.
I figured Corviknight was the regional bird as it looked too detailed to merely a single stage
Interesting how Dreadknaw is the second stage form
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I mean, Sobble is already a chameleon, it's no surprise that it remains one. Sometimes they switch up Pokemon species mid-evolutionary line, but not usually.
It's easy to not get that Sobble is a chameleon, since it's so abstractly cartoony that it looks nothing like one.
That's mainly what I was referring to. It's probably gonna become more realistically like a chameleon as it evolves.
Also, I'm calling it now Alcremie's pre-evo is going to be a cupcake, because that's too easy to pass up

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Has anyone done a Fullmetal Alcremiest joke yet?
Duraladon's code has been found, and has no number attached to it, which implies that it's a single stage mon

Oh wait, I mixed up Morpeko and Cramorant. I blame the thing having "pek" in it's name.
