Beast Sentai Zodiacranger - Discussion Thread

Hey all, here's the discussion thread to discuss plots, ideas and what have you.

If we ever fill al spots and still do secondary mecha I feel we should go to the western Zodiac, though they might also work for some kind of Psycho Rangers

What age is everyone's character? I think this may be good to establish now so we know the age range of all the rangers.

Kuji is probably around 32 unless we wanna go the power rangers route and have them be teens

Obviously I had power rangers on the brain because I totally wrote Emiko as a teenager.

I assumed we were all teens, but I wrote Mac as late teens.

I didn't really have an age so I can make Kuji younger if necessary

Most of them seem made to be younger, but it's flexible enough.

BBEG

As of late, a currently unknown figure that seems to transcend time and age. A shadowy figured cloaked in constantly shifting darkness that, long ago, promised the losers of the race so long ago that their time would come and their power would be immense. His power proves to be quite formidable, the ability to transform the losers then and there into hideous monsters and seems capable of doing that now. As of now, he lingers in a rested state committing his final atrocity: Removing the Zodiac from the heavens themselves.

Kaba

The epitome of strength, bluntness, and refusing to back down from a fight, Kaba is a powerful fighter and the Leaders true muscle as he rests. As powerful and ferocious as the animal she's based on, the Hippo, Kaba is not afraid to go down and prepare the fight for anything. She's not above getting her hands dirty if all else fails. To her, her strength will topple all who dare oppose her and her master.

Garyuu

The tongue of the trio of Beast Khan, Garyuu tends to avoid conflict all together in exchange for his true strength: His manipulative silver tongue. Garyuu is an expert at finding something in everyone and latching onto it. Some say that he came the closest of the original 12 by his words alone, but no one is capable of attesting to that. Cruel, manipulative and willing to put others behind him for his own game, there may be more to Garyuu than either of his companions see...

Mushi

In stark contrast to the rest of his kin, Mushi favors honor and fairness over his fights. A warrior who believes that his blade should only strike against those he deems worthy, his position of the trio is likely the most important: Using the hated wind that caused him to lose his advantage in the race, he will use it to raze the world to the ground. Creating a chaotic, poisonous wind that causes his fellow breathren to grow to titanic sizes...but only once their destruction has been had. To this day, he seeks out a worthy opponent to prove his worth in the race, and that someone may very well be one of the chosen of the Zodiac...

Beast Khan

The Beast Khan are the animals that had failed in their race for glory, given into their darkness and allowed their bodies to become horribly twisted, distended demonic creatures with only one thought in mind: Revenge. Their goal is to find and destroy the remains of the Zodiac who fell unto earth, unknowing that doing so would cause catastrophic destruction across the known universe. Long since given up their own identity, their only care about the destruction of those they despise, the ones who beat them in their quest for immortality.

(Yemen)

The Yemen are creatures created from the runoff negative energy created by the Beast Khan, appearing as nothing more than shapeless shadows of darkness that erupt from the darkness around the Khan. The angrier the emotion, the more plentiful the Yemen. They only seek one goal in their single branded minds: to find and destroy anything their Beast Khan master demands of them.

The Zodiac Shifters

The 'remains' of the Zodiac as they fell from the heavens and descended to earth. Unable to maintain a form of their own, they became strange, ancient looking arm bracers with their image etched into a strange glass portion. By pushing down on the glass portion like a switch, the user is surrounded by Celestial Energies that are created and appear around them like Battle Armor, allowing them to harness their chosen energies to fight off the threats of the Beast Khan.

Zo-Dai-Oh

Zo-Dai-Oh is the five part combination of the Zodiac "Mecha Spirits", which seem to work on different grounds than the other Sentai does. Rather than the five animals coming together to create one giant Mecha, rather the other 4 grant one Energy to use, allowing the other four to still be worked on the outside, while the newly constructed Zo-Dai-Oh is capable of fighting the larger threats as they see fit. However, this is dangerous, as the strain of using 5 Spirits powers can easily overwhelm anyone...
