I have trouble to get the idea of I Need No Ladders. What does "stairs in the room's entrance" mean? Can anybody provide a visual to demonstrate the trope?

Here's a You Tube of someone trying to master a specific set of stairs with their skateboard: https://youtu.be/4GFIXrybfKg

I think it's about a character jumping off a railing/through a hole instead of using the stairs/ladder/rope, for dramatic effect, analogous to There Was a Door. But holy heck is that description hard to follow- I've mostly just inferred that from the examples.

^^ If it's about skipping a set of stairs, why is there so much talk about ladders on the page?

^ Are you referring to a Banister Slide?

Skipping ladders, stairs, ramps... I don't know why ladders was chosen specifically.
