Is it getting popular? I don't even recall multiverse in Star. Unless you mean like Earth and Mewni, which is hardly the same thing.

Modern cartoons to be exact? For the longest time, The Multiverse seemed to be popular mostly with comic books. What with companies like Marvel and DC each creating fictional multiverses for each of their lines of superheroes.
In recent years, the multiverse has found itself finding popularity with animated TV series like Adventure Time and Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, one of the most critically acclaimed animated movies of 2018, has the multiverse as its main concept down to the title.
Why do you think the multiverse is becoming popular among cartoons?
