Well I had this idea about Cooties being an actual virus but there was already a movie about that. Except my idea's a lot different than the movie though.
Well, not quite, but I've had somewhat of a character design taken from me before. When I was 5, I had an imaginary friend called Triangle Head that I drew pictures of. When Phineas and Ferb came out, guess who my parents said Phineas looked like.
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."Not for a TV show in general, but for a character from a TV show. I came up with the idea for an anthropomorphic piece of toast who walks around in a toaster before Unikitty! came up with a similar idea for one of its background characters - an anthropomorphic toaster and an anthropomorphic toast!
Not a TV show, but I once wrote something about a fox and a bunny who solved mysteries as a kid. Guess what it turned into?

Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?
Let's say you brainstorm an idea for a TV show, and then there's this new show that sounds exactly like what you came up with. Anyone here ever had an experience like that? If so, explain in this thread.
