(It is not long before the quartet find themselves in front the Last Life Arcade, the local arcade in this interdimensional nexus, a humble building with a decent amount of offerings for those of the arcade gaming persuasion.)

Well, actually, I'm not a refugee! I'm here on a sabbatical of sorts.

Last Life Arcade (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-Aichi seems very pleased with the place.-

"Ah...! There are so many games...!"

-Misaki, meanwhile, gets a sweat drop in response to Sthesia's 'nickname' for the couple.-

"...You said there should be a Mobile Warriors Versus cabinet in here?"

-Aichi seems to have missed the awkward name entirely.-

"We could find it, and play together!"

Outside Apartment (slow continuing w/Fox, more chars pending when I get home)

...I see. That must be convenient.

(Pushes his specs up with the back of his hand.)

(shrugs)

(Begins to extend a hand, but re-evaluates halfway through and just kinda... like half-holds it out, with an expression on his face like he's quietly dying inside.)

Yeah, I think so. (He opens the door, and waves them in.) After you, ladies.

(Once they're all in, it turns out that the MWVS cabinet is fairly towards the back of the arcade. However, before they do that, Leos and Sthesia make sure to get some prepaid cards to use on the cabinets.)

Last Life Arcade (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-Aichi smiles to Misaki, definitely willing to let her go in first... While Misaki looks a tad awkward about the whole thing.-

-Honestly, Leos and Aichi don't need to do the whole 'ladies first' thing. It doesn't matter.-

-But she goes ahead in anyway.

-Aichi, however... then has his eyes widen a bit. Should he have done that first...? What are guys supposed to do for girls on dates...?-

-He looks towards Leos, nervous as he does it... before following after everyone else.-

-Eventually they make it to the cabinet, and Aichi perks up a bit again.-

-...Wait a second!-

"You haven't played before, have you, Misaki?"

-Misaki looks towards Aichi, and shakes her head a bit.-

"No, I never played it."

-Aichi's smile brightens at that.-

"This will be your chance!"

-...Ah, with how happy Aichi seems about the idea...-

"...All right. I'll try it."

-Leos and Sthesia can see the smile on her face. Seems like Aichi's enthusiasm is contagious.-

“O-oh– uh, I'm just looking...” Lucy stammered in response, before offering Marcia a gentle smile. “I liked the look of your shop, so I thought I'd come in. I'm new here, see... so I'm taking a look around...”

The idea of samples spiked her attention, however, and she moved closer with an expression of interest. “What type of samples? You won't make me grow a third arm, right?”

(Leos and Sthesia give Aichi and Misaki their token cards.)

Oh? You're eager for a match, Misaki?

Then, how about we start off with a 2v2?

(Well, there are at least 4 cabinets linked together, so a multiplayer match is possible.)

-She wasn't expecting the water gun at all and gets quite easily knocked back into the reflection!-

Marcia - Potion Shop

(Marcia tilts her head in confusion. Why on Earth would her new customer say such things about her wonderful potions? That's slander in Marcia's opinion.)

Huh...? W-w-why would I do that? These potions are meant to heal a person, I, um, believe.

-Somehow... Mania goes right through the car, and spat back out into...-

-The city?-

-No... no, everything's flipped around on this side-

-Signs are backwards, everything's going in reverse... and the monster joins you on the side with a menacing cackle-

-The two of them take their cards.-

-Misaki's smile has a determined hint to it now, when Leos asks.-

-She can't turn down an offer like that, and she's determined to give it her all, like with any cardfight.-

-Aichi nods in response to Sthesia. A tag team fight... That'd be really fun!-

"That's a great idea! Misaki and I can go against you and Leos!"

-He looks back at Misaki.-

"Right, Misaki?"

-Misaki nods at him, still with that determined smile. She looks back to Leos and Sthesia.-

"We won't be going easy on you."

-Mania looks around wildly, confused as all hell before she quickly snaps back at the monster-

-It rushes right at Mania again, wildly swinging its weapons!-

-Since she's quite furious, Mania dodges the attacks rather quickly and follows up with some punches of her own, throwing as much power into them as she could-

...Hm. Are you a recent arrival as well? I have been here for less than 48 hours, by my estimation.

(Once the cards are recognised, an option on the menu reads "VS BATTLE." Once that is selected, the players are appropriately organised into their teams, and thus HOLY CRAP, THAT'S ONE HUGE ROSTER.)

(Now, the question is, which machines will the Cardfighter Couple choose?)

(Because the Gundam Knight and the Princess of Truth have chosen their machines.)

-The monster...!-

-Wasn't expecting her to be as strong as she is!-

-It gets a good hefty thrashing, enough to disarm it, and gets punched backwards across the street!-

-Hope you're not too angry though, Mania... your body... something strange is happening...!◊-

-Aichi's choice was a fairly quick one, actually. One of his favorites!

-Misaki cycles through the selection quickly, and eventually settles on one.-

"Ehehe! Stand up, Vanguard—"

-Annnnnnnnnnnd Aichi freezes. That was NOT what he meant to say. He was meaning to get into it, but he ended up saying the wrong thing...-

-After turning pink for a moment...-

"...I-I mean..."

-He shakes his head, and snaps out of it.-

"Aichi Sendou, ready for launch!"

-...What? He's trying to imagine it! After all, imagination will be his strength!-

-Misaki, meanwhile, stays silent. She has to admit that Aichi is being a little odd with that, but it's nothing bad. Part of his charm is his quirkiness.-

-...As long as he doesn't go overboard.-

"Are you ready?"

“...oh...” Lucy muttered, a little embarrassed. Healing potions. Good to know. She'd probably have to come back here for some of them, knowing her. Nonetheless, the confirmation of this potential new utility piqued her intrigue to its maximum, and before she knew it she was glancing through all the potions behind the woman as well.

“Interesting... um, what other effects do you do? Just out of... curiosity.”
