-still sitting in his Li mei-less corner-
I like li Mei and Nitara and would be hyped to see them back. And despite not liking him initially, Havik too for that matter. Thank the comics for that. And Reiko has been cool since MKA, it's one redesign for that game that was all for the better. In fact Reiko post shao kahn death would be interesting to see.

Li Mei did have an appearance in MKX, but that's about it so far.
I'd like to see Havik too. He was a weird character in Deception. That and/or a plotline for Order and Chaos realms. They've been mentioned in some arcade endings but nothing more than that.
It'd be interesting to see if they can make any future conflict become more chaotic or something.
But those Realms really felt like they added nothing. It felt like they didn't fit the place very well.

Wake me up at your own risk.I liked them, I just didn't like the characters they made for them. I think Chaosrealm in particular is cool.
Reiko is surprisingly popular for some reason. I guess that's why he was the secondary Big Bad for the MK X comics.
I'm honestly surprised that Havik hasn't returned as a playable character.
Kendrick Lamar when
Oh. Are they gonna get close to Armageddon again?
Cetrion's kill each other line makes me think so.
Also, Past Johnny seems pissed. It's hard to get Johnny Cage angry. The only thing that seems to anger him is threatening his family....and himself, so someone must have really crossed a line.
One Strip! One Strip!Kind of interesting it's young Shang Tsung at the final bit there.
So it looks like Shang Tsung's going to hijack the plot. What a surprise.
It's been 3000 years…You hired the original actor back, it makes sense you were going to use him.
That has nothing to do with the fact that it's pretty obvious he was going to betray the heroes
Uni cat"Curse your sudden yet inevitable betrayal!"

Disgusted, but not surprisedFujin was calling it in the initial trailer.
"I must ask sorcerer... how long until you betray us?"
I mean, they weren't being subtle.
That said this trailer... was a lot less exciting, and made this seem more like a quick rewrite of MK 11 to include DLC Shang Tsung, Sheeva, Fujin, and Sindel. At first it seemed like a "time heist" which was neat, but now we're seeing altered versions of Raiden gathering everyone to fight Kronika, Kronika and the Revenants mustering their army.
It seems a little more filler-ish than before. Maybe the trailer was just cut so as to avoid significant spoilers - but then they kind of throw the whole "Shang Tsung is evil yo" right at the end there, as if to say, "yeah this is going to go pretty much how you expect."

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Honestly I half expect the twist to be that Shang Tsung is being entirely sincere about helping, despite his track record and arcade ending.
I retract my statement about Kitana
You think Kronika will remain a Big Threat or be Demoted to Dragon or something?
The Protomen enhanced my life.It depends on how Aftermath will deal with her, but if it's anything like how Shinnok's been treated in this game, she'll just be dead in the next one, maybe with a cameo here or there.
It's been 3000 years…Man this Spawn intro.
Boy does he really does hate clowns.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's been there since he dropped.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Oooof didn't check the date.
That is a brain fart on my part, sorry.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."At least you have yours intact, can't say the same for Clown over there
Uni catOf course Spawn hates Clown. Clown's been hounding him ever since he became Spawn and is literally hellbent on killing and/or corrupting him.
Disgusted, but not surprised
That's weird, I don't see enough people warming up to the 3D era characters
Now that I really think about it, most of MK 4 character was decently received. Arguably even more than MK 3's cast.
I would be so down with that.
That sounds like a bad thing.
On that note, I didn't know Gambi & Raiden were played by the same guy. Very amusing
