It was essentially her Venom symbiote.
Mileena MadnessWell, being an X-Men arc the Phoenix storyline was bound to get convoluted sooner or later.
Alright. Just got this.
Just waiting for a download to finish, and then I'm getting it done.
One Strip! One Strip!Alright. Got started. Met everyone at the Raft....and can't remember how to confirm my new team.
I put in Spiderman, Captain America, Falcon and Captain Marvel, leave the Hero Select menu....and then have the Guardians again.
Of all things to have problems with, not being able to figure out how to choose my new team wasn't one of them.
Edit: Never mind. I figured it out. Now I need to learn how to properly block and dodge. Even on the easiest settings, I'm getting pretty beat up.

One Strip! One Strip!Died for the first time against Mysterio... the super villain not Lucha Libre / WWE star.
And I'm on Friendly. I really need to learn how to dodge and block. But I'm so busy trying to do other stuff, I always forget.
One Strip! One Strip!Yea, the game was weirdly difficult.
I still hate the camera angles.
I don't think anyone would ever confuse Quentin with Rey. Unless you're a WWE fan.

So just to ask, is there a way to replay older levels without losing progress?
I want to go back to the raft and investigate that weird yellow crack in the second part (just after you beat the Sandman and the other heroes show up).
I don't want to lose what few level ups I got for my characters, but I figure the best way to level up other people I haven't used is to redo those old parts too so I'm hoping the opportunity to go back without losing what I've done is in the game somehow.
One Strip! One Strip! You can replay any level once you've unlocked it, there's a chapter select in the main menu. When you replay an old level your progress won't be lost, once you're ready to return to the latest chapter you can just pick it from the the level select. You can even pick which checkpoint you want to start from.
Really?
When I tried to do it, it told me progress would be lost. Did I misunderstand it?
One Strip! One Strip! That confused me when I played it too but you don't really lose progress. It will save your progress in the current level and you can return to it from the chapter select once you decide you're done with the old levels.

I see that is helpful.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post because there was one more thing I was wondering about:
When you restart a level, do you lose your old level ups, or is a character who was Level 8 or 9 at the end of that level still level 8 or 9 when you end that level?
One of the points of restarting a level is to level up my other team members, so there'd be no point if the ones who did level up lost EXP in the process.
One Strip! One Strip! The characters keep their levels and upgrades when you restart a chapter.
Excellent. All I needed to know.
To quote the greatest super villain of the MCU:
Avengers, time to work for a living.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post:
I wish Pete Wisdom and Shadowcat were in this game.
I'd team up Wisdom with Spider-Man, Colossus, and Star-Lord.
They'd get a bonus called Too many Peters and Kitty's Boyfriends.
Though there may be some issues to using Wisdom. He was the oldest of the people Kitty dated, and the dude who wrote that relationship apparently based Pete off himself, which always comes off as a bit creepy.
Still, it's good joke that won't fully work if he isn't there, since Kitty never dated Peter anywhere but in the Utimate Universe.
Anyone who says they don't want this is a liar.
Edit: And on a more topical note, when should I start using Iso-9 upgrades for my characters. I've been wondering about it but since there are only so many and I don't want to waste them, I've been holding back on them so far.

One Strip! One Strip!Right. Gone through the Xmen scenario, and now I'm in the Dark Dimension. Met both Elsa Bloodstone and Ghost Rider, and got my first boss based ass kicking from Dr. Strange.
How do you level up your lower level characters quickly?
Do you do the Infinity Trials? Do you use the XP cubes? Do you replay old levels? What works best here? Cause Strange is kicking my ass.
One Strip! One Strip!
Well, that's a character I've never heard of.
I hated that Dr. Strange's boss fight. He had way too much stun-lock than he had the right to.
If our YMMV then it is. My friends & I never bothered with since we were pretty committed to the character we wanted to main. Although a lot of cubes were gone because of the secondary characters we wanted to use. That & we didn't bother looking up the easiest way to grind the game.
So after kinda dithering on it for a while, I finally started upgrading my Iso-9.
Only a little so far. I have plenty of money, but I don't want to go too far with it.
I've almost got more of my other characters up to Level 20. Once I do that, it's back to the story.
We're supposed to be able to combine Iso-9 fragments as well right? How do I do that?
One Strip! One Strip!I forget, has the release date for the "Fantastic Four" pack been announced yet?
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. Not yet
Mileena MadnessHere's hoping his aerial attack is FOOT DIVE
I hope we get a free update before DLC Pack 3, though I have I feeling we might have to wait. Weren't Black Bolt and Medusa's models basically done before the game shipped out?
As someone who read the original story, yes it was.
