  • Real Name: Yoko
  • Superhero Name: The Laughing Fox
  • Age: Unknown specifically, but somewhere over 1,000 years of age due to her celestial status.
  • Appearance:
    • Fox Form: 40 cm high, 80 cm long. Her renewed ‘default’ form, commonly used for cuteness purposes and for manoeuvring in small spaces. Is her base state—all transformations when reversed via the destruction of her tails cause her to revert to this form. Requires no tails to be used, but it is her most vulnerable form. Her other tails barring the original may be hidden via melding them together into one.
    • Human Form (Female): 6'2". Her first learned transformation, and her personal favourite. Usually has foxlike traits for greater ease in containing the transformation, but she is able to hide them when necessary with some extra concentration. Requires her original tail to remain intact in order to access.
    • Human Form (Male): 5"4'. Her second learned transformation, achieved a century after her first with the growth of her second tail. Requires said second tail and the original to be intact in order to use.
    • Colossal Fox Form (Kaijukitsune): 15 metres in height, 33 metres in length. Gained in her 900th year, and requires all of her tails to be intact in order to activate.
  • Personality: To Yoko, her considerable age means nothing to her mind. This kitsune is bubbly, loveable, and externally naïve—though the occasional bouts of wisdom in more severe situations display that at least some experiences have slipped through to her. Deeply empathetic to whomever she meets, Yoko still carries an air of whimsical wonder and near endless energy—this combined with her status as a kyūbi and the inherent trickster tendencies that come with it causes a lot of headaches for the more grounded and serious individuals she meets. However, her outward innocence only goes so far—in reality, Yoko is still a very old creature who has seen generations come and pass—and the more one gets to know her the more one realises that her deep-set empathy has only brought with it years upon years of pain as her then-new friends age and pass away; leaving her behind. It is of no wonder she clings so tightly onto her own youth, and Yoko makes it a goal to treasure as many moments as she can before she inevitably has to say goodbye.
  • Powers:
    • Illusionism: A yōkai technique that allows her to target either one person at close range or up to three individuals at a distance in order to directly affect their five senses. The ability manifests within her hands as a bright glow of foxfire, which she can then apply to the area of the person she wishes to target specifically (usually the head in order to affect the mind's perception of the body overall). Yoko can also utilize this ability at a longer range using a slightly different tactic; in which she makes a specific hand-seal similar to that of a flipped diamond—at which point the space in-between will glow with a ghostly light and sprout into a trio of ethereal tendrils in order to ensnare the target that way. Whatever the case, any living being she uses this ability on will be treated to an onslaught of images, sounds, scents, and experiences dictated by Yoko—however her poor attention span and the relative ease in which one can break out of this technique means it is limited only as a temporary ensnarement or brief distraction for her to recover during. Plus the long-range tendrils can be easily avoided anyhow—and they will not give chase for very long before dissipating. This ability has been enhanced to greater effect post-ascension.
    • Foxfire Generation: By either rubbing her tails or hands together (or simply exhaling in a particular manner), Yoko can manifest a destructive, spiritual material either in the form of bluish-white lightning, traditional flame, or concentrated, ethereal orbs that can float about beyond physical reason. Yoko excels at lightning generation but suffers with fireballs and the like—either packing them too much and creating the aforementioned will-o-the-wisps or packing too little and just causing them to preemptively collapse. Due to its spiritual nature, Yoko's foxfire is both bitingly cold and burning hot to the touch, and it can also burn intensely with no fuel even on normally flame retardant materials—though thankfully she can also alter it to incorporate healing properties instead. This ability has been enhanced to greater effect post-ascension.
    • Shapeshifting: Another fairly common yōkai ability, although split into stages across her tails. With her original tail, Yoko can shift into any female form she desires. With her second tail, Yoko can shift into any male form of equal freedom. With her other seven tails, she can mimic small objects, fish, birds, canids, cats, and reptiles—and using all simultaneously allows her to use a gigantic version of her fox form. This ability has been enhanced to greater effect post-ascension.
    • Kitsune Physiology: Yoko possesses the agility and stealthiness of a fox, further enhanced by her powers. Every 100 years or so, a kitsune grows a tail, increasing their magical abilities by a significant portion. Tail growth stops at the number nine, and the kitsune becomes a Kyūbi no Kitsune. After it has reached 1,000 years of age with nine tails, however, it ascends to heaven and becomes a celestial fox. Having reached this latter state, Yoko is nigh-impossible to kill by purely mundane means—while still able to be injured, the fatal blow must be dealt with by an enchanted weapon or a supernaturally powered attack in order to properly finish her off. In the same way, her tails can be sliced from her body by spiritually-infused attacks—which would render her illusions weaker, her foxfire less corporeal, and her shapeshifting more limited with each tail lost. If she flees before all tails can be destroyed, they will reform within a period of rest and recovery along with her abilities in a form of gradual (yet thorough) regeneration. As long as one tail remains complete, Yoko can even begin to rejuvenate the rest of her body over the course of several days—granted if she is safe enough to go into a deep sleep. An important note is that a kitsune has an innate phobia of dogs and wolves, which can detect their presence even while in disguise.
    • Celestial Powers: Now she has reached her 1,000th birthday, Yoko has been granted an array of godly powers by the great Inari Ōkami for use in her new role as the Celestial Guardian of Earth. Apart from an incredible boost in physical strength and speed as well as to her base kitsune powers, Yoko has also attained the power of flight—an ability often mimicked by kitsune not yet having reached ascension but never really reaching the same level of precision as that which the celestials utilize. Yoko may also freely shift to and from a purely spiritual state—an almost entirely invisible spectre in the vague shape of a fox—however her gained intangibility in this form also means she is unable to interact with the physical world while using this transformation. This dematerialized state allows her ready access to both the Yōkai Realm and Heaven, and she can move at speeds unhindered by physical restraint when existing purely as a spirit. Her sight has become telescopic so it may focused on objects miles away (granted if nothing's in the way to start with) and her hearing is so incredibly potent that she can acknowledge the sounds of footsteps at an equally long distance. When it's required, Yoko may also call upon the good graces of Inari and request a boost to her power—to which she will become enveloped in a golden hue and receive an even greater increase to her already improved powers.
  • Gear:
    • Kitsune Mask: A magic-infused mask of clay that both masks her identity if necessary and has the added effect of making her transformations quicker and easier whenever applied. The mask has the ability to be summoned and de-summoned with an accompanying swirl of foxfire. Yoko is protective of the thing, and can occasionally be seen carefully repainting some of its markings and polishing it in her spare time.
  • Backstory:
    • Born as a regular fox deep within the forests of Japan, Yoko's young life was initially rather ordinary—spent hunting and playing with her many siblings—right up until the point where she began to realise that her aging seemed considerably slowed when compared to that of her brethren. It was with gradual horror that she witnessed their days melding into one another and her family grow old before her eyes; helpless to do anything but watch as they eventually passed away—leaving the young kitsune alone and nearly completely unaged.
    • It was a whole 50 years later that the kitsune began to feel a change. A growing lump next to her tail. A bizarre sense of dizziness that came and went. Seeing things jumping about the trees. Lumbering creatures in the distance that she would rush towards and find nothing upon reaching them. Uncanny faces, horrific beasts, demons and angels all appearing more solidly and more often the older she got. At age 100, her second tail had fully sprouted. The kitsune had been affected by the magic of the realm right next door on the spiritual plane of her home forest for her whole life, and she had officially become a yōkai.
    • The Yōkai Realm initially seemed to overlap with the forest during her younger years, but by the time the fifth tail sprouted (her rear end was getting rather sore at this point) the spiritual plane had become almost completely separate from her habitat. Ōni guarded the exits into the earth, kamaitachi flew about on the winds, and kasa-obake graciously provided their services during the more rainy spells. Most fascinating of them all, however, were her fellow kitsune—the elder and more kindly of which took her under their wing and helped the growing kit on her path to becoming a full-fledged kyūbi. Despite her not being a sacred white fox—merely a fox of the fields—the kitsune even had the privilege of meeting Inari Ōkami; the goddess of many things with fox spirits included. It was from her that the kitsune received a name of her own—Yoko.
    • ...Granted, it was a common name, but it did nothing to dissuade her. As she became more accustomed to the Yōkai Realm and its inhabitants, Yoko found herself yearning to return to the real world—inspired by the stories of ones such as Tamamo-no-Mae, Yoko wished to bring pride to her fellow fox spirits in trickery and pranks to the hapless humans of her old world. It was most likely this overabundant enthusiasm combined with a significant group of these humans turning out not to be so hapless after all that got her caught by the Saint Foundation after centuries of practical jokes and relentless giggling. Playing the part of an overenthusiastic, ditzy animal/human super, Yoko's true nature isn't very well hidden anyway—and her penchant for mischief will most likely end up getting into further trouble than if she'd explained her case to begin with. But where's the fun in that?
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Hates baths with a burning passion; water in general, soap to a lesser degree. She has been the bane of many a kindly-yet-still-clearly-senile-for-trying-to-bathe-a-wild-fox granny due to her frantic state of panic she slips into at the prospect of being cleaned by anyone but herself.
    • Her animalistic traits—such as her fur, tails, and ears—can be felt even when hidden from sight.
    • Distinct scent of cinnamon.
    • Despite her ability to shift into dogs and wolves, Yoko is still uneasy of the real things. Even the friendly ones and those made yōkai put her on edge. This is primarily vestigial instinct, however—though this fight-or-flight reaction hasn't given her much reprieve from the more snappy of the werewolf community...

I have another character to apply with

Name: Finn Acker

Hero Name: Other-Sider

Age: 16

Appearance: He has messy brownish-red hair, tends to wear headphones around his neck and dresses casually (Hoodie, T-shirt, jeans and sneakers.). When transformed, he becomes a dark energy like being with an red outline and shines on his body. He has two white outlines for his eyes. He also has a red Cape in this form.

Personality: Finn tends to be rather hotheaded. He is the type to throw himself into the fray to save an innocent person, even he doesn't know them. He is also loyal to someone who gains his trust. However, he is rather slow on the uptake and can be way too emotional for his own good.

Powers: -Other Side: Finn transform to his other side. In this form he gains: -Body Weapons: He can make weapons from his body of energy. The weapons can only last so long though. -Levitation: He can levitate above the ground.

Gear: Belt: This belt from his father allows him to switch between both of his forms and keeps him in check as an energy being.

Backstory: Finn is the eldest child of Prof. Acker. He lives with his father and younger sister Celia, who both have a good relationship with each other. Prof. Acker studies brings from other realms at their home which is near the sea. However, one fateful day when Finn was fourteen, disaster broke. Prof. Acker was attempting to bring a small being from another dimension to study. The being the professor brought back was a grand being from a dangerous dimension. The being attacked Prof. Acker, who tried his best to defend himself. Finn and Celia ran downstairs to see what was going on. When the beast saw them, it chased after the both of them with it's mouth opened wide. Finn grabbed Celia and the two ran outside the house but, the beast kept coming for them. When the beast got close enough, Finn pushed Celia out of harm's way which let the beast get to Finn. The beast swallowed Finn alive and went to the nearest cave, ignoring Celia who went back to the house for her father. Finn did not die automatically in the beast due to different biology. The beast was impressed with Finn’s willingness to sacrifice himself. The beast decided to give Finn a “gift” by his world's standards. The beast turns Finn into a superpowered being of energy and spat him back out. The beast opened a hole back to its world. Finn made it back to his grieving family, in which he explained everything. His father made the belt to help him. Over the next two years, Finn realized that he can use his powers to become a hero and enrolled in Saint’s Academy.

Miscellaneous The belt is what keeps him normal and stabilized. If he was to lose it, bad things could happen.

Just an adorable fan girl and cosplayer ヾ(*・ω・)ノ💝💟

  • Real Name: Aster Constantine & Avajax, The Iron Mountain, He Who Endures, Devourer of Pain, The Mad Beast
  • Superhero Name: Avajax
  • Age: 18
  • Appearance: She's 5'5" and 135 lbs. Here's Aster and her great-times-many-times grandpappy posing for the camera. Since being "possessed," Aster has gained red eyes and paler skin. Occasionally, lumps can be seen moving about under her skin and strange grinding sounds can be heard when she moves. She hasn't been able to get a costume that doesn't tear when she summons parts of Avajax for help; She's contacted Saint Solutions for some help, but they haven't replied yet.
  • Personality:
    • Aster is calm, collected, and polite. She's as normal as can be for a person possessed by an eldritch being. You can find her chatting amicably with her friends on the phone via texting most days. Aster used to be somewhat dismayed over how to use her great strength without hurting herself and others, but now she's gotten a tenuous handle on it. Aster and Avajax currently have a strong bond. Nothing can tear them apart—literally.
    • Avajax is...hard to describe, as he usually doesn't seem to emote and only makes strange noises that can be described as a combination of whalesong and cooing. However, Aster can understand him and describes him as "affectionate and wise." Avajax is less incomprehensible than unintelligible.
  • Powers:
    • Eldritch Host: Aster is the descendant of Avajax, an Eldritch Abomination who used to be worshipped by multiple cults. By fulfilling several unknown criteria, she was deemed a worthy host. Since Avajax was dying from lack of worship, he asked Aster to be his host so he would be saved. Aster agreed, and then Avajax proceeded to possess her. Aster deemed their relationship mutually beneficial after some careful exploration of their new symbiosis. Avajax, while not able to speak conventionally, obviously cares for Aster like a grandparent. Aster is the only one who can understand Avajax's "vocalizations," and occasionally teases the "old man."
      • Thou Shalt Have Strength: By residing inside Aster's body, he grants her supernatural strength, enough to lift buses and perform other great feats of strength. However, this has a price—normally, such exertions would cause great pain to an ordinary human being. Since Avajax "eats" and nullifies the pain, this is not a problem. What is a problem is that Aster can severely overtax her body if she overuses her super strength and wound herself without even knowing it.
      • Thou Shalt Have Willpower: Avajax lends Aster some measure of his willpower, protecting her against mental influences and the like. Aster has become very resistant to mental influences as a result of this. Also, anyone attempting to read Aster's mind will have a significant chance of being thwarted.
      • Thou Shalt Endure: Aster is hard to injure properly, and even if she is injured, the pain won't affect her—Avajax "eats" the pain inflicted upon Aster, so she doesn't feel a thing. Metallic shards jut from her wounds, sealing them and making it hard to injure her in the same place twice. They are actually parts of Avajax's body, and recede over time as the wounds heal. She has to notice wounds to seal them, which is a big problem if she can't feel pain and thereby know where she is hurt.
      • I Shall Protect Thee: Avajax allows parts of himself to be summoned out of Aster's body, warping her flesh into metallic chimeras. Aster can also summon a metallic outer shell for use as armor. (As implied in one of Avajax's titles, the metal is similar to iron and is about as tough as it too.) Occasionally, Aster can cede control of her body to Avajax for increased abilities, but Avajax will push Aster's body above and beyond her limits, leaving her severely damaged afterwards. Therefore, this is limited to being a Hail Mary move.
  • Gear: N/A
  • Backstory:
    • Aster was born to a normal-seeming family that just happened to be descended from an Eldritch Abomination. She had a fairly happy and average childhood, and displayed traits that marked her a worthy host for Avajax: patience, perseverance, and a willingness to protect others. Aster wanted to be a hero, but had no idea where to start until her teenage years.
    • She was approached in multiple dreams, and after a brief freak-out period, she got to know her great-times-many-times grandfather. After they had bonded more, Avajax asked Aster to be his host, since he would die if he didn't find one soon. Aster agreed, since she had gotten attached to him and "didn't want to lose the old fellow," as she put it.
    • Some time later, she was possessed by Avajax. Aster he realized that this could help her be a hero like she always wanted to be. Taking Avajax's name for her superhero name, she decided to pursue a path of crime-fighting. After some tumultuous stays in the hospital brought on by pushing herself to extremes, she decided to attend Saint Academy in the hopes that it will help her to learn control and use her powers better without hurting herself too much.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Rust is one of the things that actually hurts Avajax, causing parts of him to "rot" away. It's very painful for both him and Aster, which makes it their primary weakness. Therefore, anybody with a rust-inducing power can defeat the two with ease.

  • Real Name: Victoria Richter

  • Superhero Name: Break Girl

  • Age:18

  • Appearance: Regular appearance. Her superhero outfit is much more simplistic and lazy, as is befitting. It's simply a tank top and jacket, jeans, combat boots, an eye mask and fingerless gloves. She's currently a werewolf though.

  • Personality: The first thing that just about anyone could tell you about Victoria is that she's a lazy ass, content with with putting in the bare minimum needed to achieve something. She's laidback, easygoing and a bit of a jokester. She likes to keep the expectations on her low, hence why she disguises her vibrokinesis as simply having super strength and durability. The way she sees things, making people expect big things from you is a surefire way to stress yourself out and cut into free time that could be spent doing something fun, like playing video games or watching anime. On that note, she's a huge fan of video games and anime, and isn't afraid to let that influence her when using her powers, often giving them over-the-top names if she can be arsed to actually blatantly use them, and often making references in doing so. Her laziness often leads to her being inconsiderate of others, since she's not afraid to take shortcuts through entire building complexes by blasting holes through walls to get to where she needs to be. When asked to explain herself, she'll almost never fess up to it, and will bullshit as many excuses as it takes to justify and either get people off her case or lighten her imminent punishment.

    • Her werewolf-ification and discovery that her powers aren't her "own" have shaken her confidence a lot, and she's desperate for a cure, but has at least recovered enough to be somewhat functional.

  • Powers:

    • Vibrokinesis: Victoria has the ability to control vibrations and shockwaves, though she does her best to hide this as simply super strength and durability. She achieves this by subtly using her powers to create shockwave blasts before impacts, either right before her own punches land as a preemptive attack, or as a counteractive force when things are about to hit her. However, she can do so much more if she feels like it. She can feel the frequency at which something is at, as well as the resonant and dissonant frequencies, though in combat this requires repeated exposure via her "feeling the opponent out" with numerous touches from hitting and being hit physically. She can use shockwave blasts as both ranged attacks and propulsion. Given enough time, prolonged exposure to her vibrational-based attacks can easily destroy structures or break bones, especially if she knows the target's resonant frequency. She can also feel vibrations in the ground, giving her a tremorsense. By pushing this ability further, she could feel the vibrations in the air, making her sense moving objects in every direction in a short range, so long as it's an open space. She can also store vibrations inside her, though this also makes her start to shake uncontrollably, and the harmful effects of extreme vibrations running through her is lessened, though she's not immune.

    • Chosen of Earth: When in the presence of large amounts of Elemental Energy, Victoria enters a different form more befitting her position. This form is sturdier, and immune to the negative side effects of Elemental Energy exposure.

    • Outburst: As a Chosen of Earth, who draw upon their powers through their willingness to use them, when under extreme stress, Victoria's powers intensify to an astounding level, in what is called an Outburst. She demonstrated this twice over the last year for brief moments.

    • Werewolf Physiology: Victoria has all the physical benefits and downsides of being a werewolf, though she's learnt how to handle her enhanced senses without being overloaded.

  • Backstory: Victoria was born into a relatively normal life, on Earth. Her mom a human resources manager at Newman Tech, which deals in new and experimental tech, and her father working as a restaurant chef, Victoria was set for a comfortable lifestyle. However, when she was around the age of 8, an attack by mole people caused an earthquake, with Victoria and her father at the epicentre. While her father managed to get away, Victoria wasn't so lucky, and was swallowed up by the ground, left in the still violently-shaking chasm, almost certainly to be her doom. Victoria can't quite remember what happened after that, only that she felt a warmth and a soothing massage sort of feeling. When rescue teams found her, she was miraculously unharmed, and it was as if the ground that was about to close around her had been roughly blasted away or crumbled into a fine dust. Later, in the comfort of her own house, Victoria discovered she could make things vibrate, crumbling a sugar cube experimentally. She then proceeded to forget about her powers for the most part for the next few years, carrying on with normal life, with an above average habit of jumping from hobby to hobby in a cycle of "Ooh, this sounds fun" and "Bored now". When she was around 16, she happened to come across a show about (celebrity) superheroes on television. Not the most grand of superhero motivations, but it was motivation. So, that's when she decided to go to Saints to become a superhero for fun. Interesting fact about her codename: On being asked what it was, she responded first with "Oh, give me a break..." and you can probably tell the rest from that.

    • During her first year at Saint Academy in her brief stint in Class One, Victoria ended up being bitten by a werewolf, sending her self confidence spiraling downwards along with her ability to use her powers. She's since then regained a bit of herself, but continues to look for a cure.

This looks like fun. Might as well give it a try. My prose kinda sucks, but what can you do, practice makes perfect. If the sign-up is too short or there's problems with it, tell me.

  • Real Name: He's unable to recall it. It is unclear whether or not he has one at all.
  • Superhero Name: Usually simply referred to as "The Ghost". More creative students use names such as "Boo", "Danny", "Slimer" or "Ghostfreak", although he's not particularly fond of any of them.
  • Age: Unknown. Appears to be somewhere around fourteen, though he has wandered the halls of Saint Academy for much longer.
  • Appearance: Here he is! He does not carry a stick though, and he's transparent. He does not have any feet under his robe, floating instead of walking.
  • Personality: "Ethereal" is an apt way to describe him. A quiet presence whose existence often goes unnoticed unless specifically pointed out, he seems to be content with silently sitting at the back of the class or lurking the dark corners of the academy. Unlike the stereotypical ghost, he's not one to pull pranks or intentionally startle others.
He rarely strikes up conversation, but will reply in an eerie, dull monotone if addressed. Coupled with his general inexpressiveness, many students report feeling "uncomfortable" or "uneasy" around him, with some going as far as getting "chills" while in his vicinity. He tends to stay mostly detached from the rest of the student as a result, and is often considered to be "not a true student", which is technically correct. If inquired about his past, he will avoid the question in often awkward and roundabout ways, leading to much speculation that he has a dark secret of some sort. In reality, he does not remember a time where he had not been haunting Saint Academy
  • Powers:
    • Being dead. Yep, that's a power. Sort of. Since you cannot kill that which has no life, he's effectively immortal while in his base form. However, this changes during possession. See below.
    • Intangibility. The Ghost is an incorporeal entity. This means he cannot be struck or harmed while in his spirit form. However, this also limits him when it comes to fighting (he cannot harm others either) and even performing basic tasks such as holding objects. In order to do this, he requires the use of his possession ability.
    • Possession. The meat-and-potatoes of his power arsenal, The Ghost can attempt to possess living beings in his vicinity when necessary, effectively taking over their bodies. He does not like to do it for long, however, claiming to feel trapped while in a physical body. Whether or not an attempted possession is successful depends on the willpower of the victim: small animals are easy for him to inspirit, while larger, more aggressive creatures and especially sapient beings will often resist The Ghost. The Ghost is also vulnerable to damage while occupying a body, and the death of a host while under his control could have dangerous and unforeseen consequences.
  • Gear: N/A.
  • Backstory: The Ghost has been haunting Saint Academy for as long as anyone can remember. Every year he attends the same classes, listens to the same explanations and writes the same essays. Although he always passes all his classes, he never advances to next year. Since he's such a non-confrontational student, teachers mostly humor him, sometimes ignoring him outright. It doesn't make much of a difference.
His past is a complete mystery that not even he knows the answers for. Whoever he was in his mortal life, he seems to be completely gone, replaced by The Ghost as he is now. Theories abound. Was he a former student who died in a tragic accident? Was it a suicide? Or did he haunt the area long before the academy was built? What unfinished business keeps him bound to Earth? We might never know... Or will we?
  • Miscellaneous: N/A.

[up]Copy cat powers are okay as long as you only copy the powers of living beings (AKA no robots or the like,) and if you make sure to only copy one person's powers at a time. No power stacking. Depending on how your characters' powers work, you may need to make other adjustments as well. But for now, just get a sheet up and we'll go from there.

Real Name: Noah Cambridge

Superhero Name: None yet

Age: 16

Appearance: This but without wings and with gloves As a small child Noah His body before the change though was a gelatinous blob with a white metallic surface. But nowadays for reasons not told he looks like boy 6.0 inches in height. He’s always seen wearing a jacket with a pair of black gloves he never takes off except when danger comes by or he really badly wants to pet a fluffy animal.

Personality: Noah is as odd as his origins. While he is a sweet kind lad who has the same basic morals as any other good person. He acts in ways people would find rather strange. He is rather blunt with his thoughts and can have a hard time understanding basic social ques like not to talk out loud about secretive topics or ask rude questions to people of authority. But while he can sound offensive at times, he never usually means to hurt anyone’s feelings. While was raised by normal human foster parents for a while, he holds insecurities of fitting in with society.

Powers: Body replication: By making skin to body contact another person Noah can change the part of him into the exact same copy of the other person. As of now he can only do so for up to three minutes at a time and due to the possible dangers to his own body he rarely stays in contact on long enough to copy more than a hand or a foot or uses more than one at a time. How useful or destructive this power is can vary depending on the super-person. But maybe he’ll figure it out and one day learn to control it.

Shedding: After three minutes pass his body sheds off whatever was copied and returns to the state it was before battle, where it was harmed or not. But it only works with the part it copies, harm to anywhere else on him stays and has to heal normally.

Gear: N/A

Backstory: As a baby Noah was illegally transported from one dimension to this one and experimented on in secret by scientists looking to more effectively create a way to artificially give powers to normal people, but the means of gaining information were inhumane themselves. Eventually the underground lab was discovered, people were arrested and the weird baby alien was taken to the authorities. Nobody knew what to do with him for a time, but eventually it was decided he would be placed in foster care of a couple, Diara River and Luke Cambridge. They treated Noah like a pet at first due to his simple behavior at the time and his inability to communicate. And yet over the years and after a accident on bring your child to work day that resulted in him permanently copying the form of one of the kids. They grew fond of playing house with the little guy. Eventually though, they would have to take pro-cautions with his unstable body and give him an actual education so he could one day live outside the house. They homeschooled Noah at first and taught him the basic stuff like math, science, English, history. But that eventually became difficult with how often they have to leave the house. So eventually they decide with whatever they could scrounge up they’d send him to a school for people just like him. Saint Acadamy.

1. Real Name: Lillian Neofytou

2. Superhero Name: Lucienne

3. Age: 18

4. Appearance:

This is her casual appearance, typically worn when not going to school or doing anything particularly fancy.

This is her hero outfit, worn when she attends a school class or when doing hero things.

When Lillian goes out clubbing, this is what she looks like. Not normally seen being worn anywhere else.

5. Personality: Lillian can tend to be abrasive or cruel to others, but she makes an active effort to try and lower the tendencies. The girl prefers her space, but isn't afraid of chatting. When the situation calls for it, the girl can be aggressive or charismatic, using her ability as much as she can to get a job done. Under her cold exterior, she tries to understand people in a way she hadn't thought of before and, while being calculating, she tries and uses her skills to help as many people as she can.

6. Powers: Hell Force

The user of this power possesses and is able to utilize strong demonic power. This ability not only grants the user great strength and control over demonic energy, but also allows them to overwhelm weaker demons as well as rival that of powerful demonic entities. The Neofytou family, while not demons themselves, pass on this ability hereditarily.

  • Demonic Energy Manipulation: The user can create, shape and manipulate energies of demonic origin. They would be able to do all kinds of unholy things with their unique type of energy, such as firing beams of demonic energy or infusing demonic energy into attacks, or creating constructs of demonic energy. Use of demonic energy can also be used to influence or outright control the acts of demons. Attacks infused with demonic energy this way, when focused enough, are capable of attacking things which cannot be attacked through normal means.

7. Gear: None

8. Backstory: As a child, Lillian was brought up to enjoy the life of crime and it's benefits being at the top. She got very used to basically being treated like royalty, as her family basically were royalty of a crime syndicate. Once she got into using the internet and saw videos of heroes, with everyone singing their praises with how they help to stop the very people who work for her kind of people, her morals began to slowly switch. It wasn't much more than a passive admiration, but it grew and as Lillian grew older, it even started to prevent her from being as cruel as her father or mother. Noticing this slight shift, her father decided to place her in charge of a couple of their operations. Nothing major, simple small drug operations. However, being much busier and getting into the business, she began to become much more like a criminal, and her shift back into darkness was substantial enough that she actually started to become more cruel, but there was always something deep inside her that she tried to keep down, in order to perform the family business better.

Now just stepping into young adulthood, Lillian was out heading to a restaurant and as she looked around her surroundings, she found a strangely dressed man ordering a burrito from some van. It was clear that the man was a hero, but he wasn't widely recognized to have hundreds of people chasing him down for an autograph every time he shows himself. Lillian decided to approach him, and after a couple of friendly greetings, the two began to have a chat. Lillian mostly asked the hero things about his life as a hero, while the hero returned questions which were mostly hidden behind metaphor, or dodged completely. Lillian's final question to him was asking about why the hero chose to be a hero. His response changed her view, and reawakened something within her from when she was younger. He said that he used to be a bit of a bad apple, and became a hero seeking redemption. It also wasn't that bad of a way to make money, but that was beside the point. Lillian began to wonder if someone like her could even find redemption for acts that were likely much worse than the hero's own. That night, she stayed home and began thinking hard on what she should do.

A week after, Lillian was called to come to a meeting with her family, and a few other "friends" of the business. Instead of actually coming, she called a hero agency, telling them all of the details about their business, and most importantly, the meeting. She understood the risk to herself in doing this, but she wasn't afraid of telling them about her involvement. After all of the members they could catch were sent to be imprisoned, the leader of the hero agency came up to her. After hearing that she, too, would most likely be spending prison time, Lillian was a little worried. She wasn't too afraid of prison time, as she could handle herself, but was more worried about what her father or any of his contacts could do. She had an idea, however. She suggested that, instead of going to prison, that she would go to Saint Academy, and learn how to become a hero in order to atone for the damage she caused working for the syndicate. Believing that it would be a waste to let a girl with such powers be locked up, he agreed. He did warn that if she stepped out of line and went back to being a criminal that he wouldn't hesitate to lock her up himself. The threat wasn't needed, as Lillian already felt committed to redeeming herself.

9. Miscellaneous: This is her theme during combat. I figured it was a nice bit of flavor to add.

[up][up]Accepted.

[up]Hey there! And yeah, we'd love to have you too! Just get a sheet up and we'll go from there.

That said, there have been some changes since the last one. None of the BS that cropped up at the start last time for one thing. And the plot's been planned out and is actually going somewhere. There's other stuff too, but that can wait for when you get in there.

  • Real Name: Ever Green (B01)
  • Superhero Name: Yggdrasil
  • Age: 17 (though 68 if you want to get technical)
  • Appearance: She can be seen as a really, slow shapeshifter, but will always be a humanoid plant, usually appearing as a fairly pretty girl of 19 with a fairly average build. Mostly because you don't hear too many stories about tree men. Usually uses leaves for hair, and almost always has green or brown "skin."
  • Personality: She's a romantic at heart with a love of cliches, though she usually attempts to appear calm and level-headed. Generally makes an attempt at being friendly, and once she considers someone a friend she will usually stick to them like glue.
  • Powers: Ever has the power to control, mutate, grow, and fuse plants (and fungus), this includes herself. Her power over plants is highly versatile, allowing for use of everything from eucalyptus bombs to mentally afflicting aromas to what amounts to instant first aid. If a nearby plant (or her) is capable, then she can do it. Being a plant herself affords her a ridiculous amount of durability.
  • Gear: She has been known to carry pouches full of seeds, and a flip lighter.
  • Backstory: A long time ago there was a very feared super calling himself "Bio," though American government files would soon call him B00. In his own mind, he was a hero who merely took a utilitarian approach. The world disagreed and eventually, he was brought down. Admitting defeat he split himself into two halves, which the government took into custody and dubbed B01 and B02. They were placed in a government program to study Bio's ability. They were eventually given the names Ever and Evo Green by the, particularly uncreative department head. B02 now lives in the Mariana Trench to the government's infinite chagrin, while Ever was sent to school to socialize with people other than scientists working to make an edible super crop with her. This is in the hopes that she does not wind up bitter, jaded and running as far as away as possible like her brother currently is.
  • Misc: Bio actually wanted their names to be Adam and Robin Fratel, after his grandmother and grandfather. Obviously, he did not get his wish and was not around to see it through.

  • Real Name: Martin Snow

  • Superhero Name: Paragon

  • Age: 17

  • Appearance: Tall and lean with a mess of blonde hair atop his head. When not in his costume he can be found with a button up shirt tucked into brown slacks. An ugly burn scar covers most of his right cheek and lower jaw, while he managed to get almost immediate treatment the false skin used to cover the burns is quite obvious. His costume is a red and blue full body suit with a cape over his shoulders. Plastered across every inch of the costume are various charities made out in solid black as to be easily seen against the colors of his suit. He wears a blue domino mask and a earpiece and carries a first aid kit on his hip.

  • Personality: Kind and gentle despite his power Martin is the kind of guy who can get along with almost everyone. His forgiving nature and positive outlook can make him come across as naive to some, but despite that he continues to give all he can for the world at large. However he holds quite a bit of self doubt, constantly judging himself harshly on what could be done better rather then celebrating his victories.

  • Powers: The ability to enhance himself through heroic deeds, or more accurately the more heroic deeds that Paragon performs the stronger he becomes. Speed, strength, sight, hearing, and durability all increase to an order of magnitude by percentage. This caps out at 100%, where his abilities begin to strain against Martin's body and runs the risk of a great deal of internal trauma due to harnessing to much energy. After about a minute of use at this level his body will forcibly shut itself down and put him into a catatonic state until he can naturally heal himself. While theorized that he could reach beyond 100% by performing a large scale operation this has yet to be tested, as doing so would involve too much risk on those studying it and Martin's body.

  • Gear: A first aid kit filled with various first response tools.

  • Backstory: Martin was a fairly typical kid during the age of supers, admiring the greats and watching various battles on the news as the heroes faced off against the seemingly unstoppable foes the universe threw at them. Even from that young age he decided that he wanted to be a hero and sought to emulate the best qualities of the people he looked up to. Throughout most of his childhood Martin could be found helping around the neighborhood with every little task that could be needed. If there was a cliche a hero might be found doing you could usually find him in the process of it. Helping old ladies across the street, mowing the lawns of neighbors, even going so far as to help get kittens out of trees with the gusto of a possessed person.

It is unknown exactly how his powers developed, whether it is a natural phenomenon or some strange form of esp allowing him to convert emotional energy into raw force. But the day they first activated was one that he will always remember. There was a fire and first responders were blocked due to a mass prison riot on the other side of the city. Driven by his desires he dived into the inferno and pulled out a number of those trapped inside. Each time he dove back in he seemed to come out faster, lifter heavier things, find those trapped. However during his rush he hit his limit and fell unconscious, his face landing on a superheated piece of metal. Thankfully he was then saved by a hero who had broken away from the battle to help local rescue operations.

Despite his injuries that day Martin has no other wish then to continue his dream of being a hero, however he had cooled a bit and likes to think he is a more rational person. That being said he repeat his actions again at the drop of a hat, so odds are that he hasn't.

[up]Accepted. Also, this a minor thing, but in this setting, technology and healing techniques are so advanced that he should be able to heal that burn mark easy-peasy. Unless he chose to keep it as a reminder or something.

Also, make sure you check in at the Discord and read the rules before you post. That should go without saying.

  • Name: Iuvem Dias (name given by his guardian/tutor)...or just Jupiter.
  • Superhero Name: Phaeton.
  • Age: His hidden conscience existed since (over) 4.5 billion years, when he, the planet Jupiter, was born. The "golem" form is approximately almost 1 month old.
  • Appearance: Iuvem is a big (eight feet tall) and chubby creature. His skin resembles exactly the look of the planet Jupiter's atmosphere. The pattern on his body seems to be constantly rotating, speeding up or slowing down depending on Iuvem's mood. He's got a "crown" of horns that resembles a medium-short spiky human hairstyle. He lacks a nose, but has got some traditonally not-directly visibile olfactory receptors. He's got a fanged mouth and then human-like sharp teeth. His eyes are orange with black sclerae. He usually wears an orange t-shirt, black pants and red and white shows (an attempt of his guardian at making him look humanly presentable).
  • Personality: Iuvem is serious, no-nonsense, wise and adamant, but can display childlike innocence and curiosity. All of this mixed with the fact that he really isn't good at speaking with people would result in The Comically Serious and awkward moments. But despite that, he is one who despises evil and will do everything to eliminate it. He is a Big Eater. He's pretty disdainful towards daevas (see backstory).
  • Powers:
    • Planetary Golem Physiology: Iuvem's body, even though it's mostly made of solid hydrogen and helium, has both superhuman strength and superhuman toughness. He can punch through reinforced steel. He can be hit by a truck (at full force) or gunfire and still be intact.
    • Hydrogen Manipulation: Iuvem can manipulate the hydrogen around his surroundings.
    • Levitation/Lightness: By manipulating the gravity, he can reduce his weight, becoming lighter and capable of making big, floaty jumps. With this, he can also levitate.
    • Gravitional Pull: By he can pull people and objects towards him by manipulating the gravity. The full force is 24.79 m/s².
    • Storm Creation: He can create a miniature storm from his body.
    • Regeneration: If Iuvem has eaten something before getting injured/mutilated (or after using a Cast from Hit Points move), he will regenerate, as long his "heart" is intact. The speed of the regeneration depends from how much he has eaten before.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Highly Flammable Body: Since Iuvem's body is mostly made of solid hydrogen and helium, which are both highly flammable elements, he really needs to avoid fire attacks.note
    • Storm Creation: Cast From Hit Points: If he decides to create a storm from his body, he will lose the body art he created the storm from. Thankfully, he can regenerate—oh wait.
    • No Food. No Regeneration: Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
    • Core Destroyed. Game Over: If someone manages to expose his core and destroy it (or just destroy it), he will die.
  • Gear: N/A
  • Backstory: Planet Jupiter, for over 4.5 billion years, was the Jupiter we knew and loved. Until the end of last month (In RP). Two daevas, named Teroras and Zalah. These two are bratty, petty, naughty and impish. They were throwing some asteroids from the asteroid belt at Mars. They really wanted see it suffer. Then they started throwing asteroids at Jupiter. But they got pissed off at it, because they couldn't see the oddly satisfying asteroid craters, like with Mars. So they destroyed it in a fit of childish rage. Now the moons were going crazy, but fortunately, the guardian of the Milky Way, Galaktios, managed to keep the 79 moons still, by keeping them inside a "bubble", that would serve as the late planet Jupiter's substitute. Galaktios got angry at the two misfits and scolded them, saying that if they won't do something, he would punish them. And then this happened.
Teroras: You want Jupiturd back? Then we will being him back!
After Teroras said that, he and Zalah used the destroyed planet's remains to create a lifeform. And thus, Jupiter was reborn as a "planetary golem", with his former memories as a planet. When he woke up, he felt confused but then he was instantly enraged upon seeing the two rowdy daevas. He tried to attack them, but Zalah just threw him at that Insignificant Little Blue Planet, before running off with Teroras to another part of the universe, with Galaktios furiously chasing after them, but that's another story. Iuvem was getting thrown into Earth. An organization, known as ETHELnote , managed to track down the falling alien, and saved him before he died. ETHEL's token mage, Betty Glove, wanted to guard and raise him in secrecy, and after some agreements, the CEO of ETHEL let her raise the alien. Betty called the alien "Iuvem Dias" and taught him how to speak English. At the end of the month, she had pubicly announced the existence of the newly-named Iuvem and the fact that he will get enrolled at Saint Academy, despite the recent drame around it, to make him become an hero.
