[up]Hmm... worse case scenario, you'd be brought down to just under the threshold to spark next banner, but probably close enough to make up the difference in the next event. I'd honestly say it's a coin toss.

Ooh, they're finally doing android boi justice, here. Looks like he's got a pretty good skillset, too. Shields, amps, and dispels, what's there not to love?

On the other hand, Sharpshooter Sarisse... with a close-range shotgun? Also, energy chain coab and Last Recovery? She should just put the Mizutsune gear back on :p

I get the feeling Sarisse isn't meant for boss busting, but given the nature of her weapon and skills, she'll be killer for missions involving lots of mobs, like Invasion and Defense quests. Speaking of which, wasn't she going to play a prominent role in this one? I don't think the two are unrelated.

Yeah, S. Sarisse looks like she'll tear up mobs easily. Given that she and Mascula are about dealing lots of hits people suspect that Legend Ayaha & Otoha will have hit count mechanics :o

They've been putting characters related to the concurrent event in gala showcases for a while. Beats putting the characters on separate split banners :x

I'm down to my last five single summon vouchers, zero tenfolds, and 47,755 wyrmite, BUT I GOT TIKI!!! AND ON THE LAST DAY, TOO! grin

So, I guess I'm gonna sit this Gala Dragalia banner out. Those summon vouchers and wyrmite won't recover themselves.

This Month in Dragalia Lost: June 2021

  • Raphael will be added to the gacha as a dragon alongside Isaac.
  • The Shadow Legion's Trial will be facing against multiple enemies in a large scale battle. Agni and Jeanne d'Arc's Trial will be added with the materials for Gala Laxi and Luca's Mana Spirals respectively.
  • New Onslaught event this month featuring Tobias.
  • Chapter 20 Part 1 featuring the Sacred Tree to be added late this month.
  • Asura will be added to the Sinister Dominion next month.
  • Extra boss battles to be removed from facility events.
  • Daily bonuses to be streamlined.

Asura definitely being light makes me think he’s also supposed to be Ahura Mazda.

Just removing extra battles entirely from facility events was not how I thought they'd address that issue, but if they're adjusting the quest rewards to compensate I'm for it. It'll be one less step for maxing event facilities, so it's actually even better than what I thought they would do, add an extra battle ticket item :x

Cool that they're going to streamline dailies. If it's going to be tap once and complete, I guess there'll be five buttons that let you complete the paths + respective elemental ruins, dragon trial, and onslaught.

Also, they're going to celebrate their 1000-day anniversary in three weeks :)

Well, it seems this thread's calmed down, so let me rile it back up with some news.

Did you guys think Astral High Dragons were a pain? Well, clench those sphincters, because the current event is giving us Astral Ciella instead. Have fun with that.

The Astral Dragons were getting easier to kill. I sneezed too hard and Astral Zodiark died from Reborn Jeanne.

Now that I have a new phone I'm able to get back into this game. I haven't played since the first run of the "A Dash of Disaster" event.

What all's new to watch for? I know a lot of stuff got reworked, plus there's a new weapon type and an archive section for older events. Anything I should prioritize?

They heavily revamped weapon crafting and how wyrmprints worked by a lot and trimmed a lot of the progression fat, notably dailies and Void Battles had their stamina reduced and the latter can have skip tickets used on them now.

All the Void and endgame quests (HDT, Agito, Sinister Dominion) have solo versions now, so you can now more reasonably build their weapons. Agito is still the priority there, especially since the Sinister Dominion quests give materials that you can use to further improve your Agito weapons.

The Trial of the Mighty might be worth a look if you have the associated character for the trial drops. Just make sure to complete the highest difficulty you can first, as the daily bonus is automatically redeemed if you have one.

From the compendium, I'd say complete the facility events for the ones you don't have yet, then Forgotten Truths so you can unlock a weekly fight (and experience one heck of a boss battle), and Fire Emblem: Kindred Ties to see the continuation of the FE crossover and get Sharena for your party :)

Building the weaker weapons is also a good idea as when you have the materials and uncap them enough, they now give a stat bonus you can unlock to all units that belong to that weapon type regardless if they equip it or not.

Similar to the Dojo’s.

I do suggest you save all bricks for uncapping the later 4 of the High Dragon weapons. Those things cost a ton, and the stat bonus costs as much as one of those four uncaps does.

Thankfully with the amount of skip tickets uncapping void is a lot easier as you can get 2x drops on specific days. Right now the HDT also have x2 drops solo for one of the High Dragons.

Yuk it up now, Shiny Cotton Candy. Ciella's just the start. Next thing you know, we'll have Astral Volk. Or twins. Or Tartarus.

Anyway, new Spiral inbound, and while Luca only really gets an amp, dual resist and consistent +13% crit rate, when you consider his damage already, did he really need more? My idea was that his A1 could give three extra seconds to an active team amp when it procs in exchange for a lower max team amp level, but that might be a bit too busted.

Also...

[up]Sorry, if I'm gonna brag I'll go all the way next time. Tartarus in particular should be a total joke, since his gimmicks either don't stick on dragons (his damage cap), don't matter anyway (his heal block, since most dragons don't heal anyway), or will have to be disabled (his dragon cancel).

I can see the heal block sticking for Cupid and base Jeanne - the former from healing, the latter from Healing Doublebuff prints. And trust me, I'm pretty sure the healing will be required when Punishment Arrows/Waves comes out to play; one thing Tartarus is known for is having unavoidable attacks, and since Dimensional Prison cannot be applied...

[up]They've nerfed all the bosses so far, with one of the design choices they've consistently made being to remove unavoidable attacks, possibly since there's always been a point multiplier for going completely unhit. I see no reason to expect them to suddenly stop playing fair.

And besides, Tartarus's heal block is only for his first phase, while his worst attacks were always in his second phase.

I'm pretty sure Tartarus had the heal-block in Master rank along with his Dragonform effects and attacks. Besides, odds are if they do bring him around, it'll be after Legend Tartarus is made available in early August. I could be wrong, though.

[up]Well, yeah, but Ciella's astral is clearly derived from the expert version. It'd be weird to switch to master after they started the set.
