Honestly, Patch's video about Shenmue 3 was hilarious because of how the game was slowly driving him insane.

Shenmue III and Infinite are a good comparison since both have games that completely stole their thunder on top of their myriad of other mistakes.

Hmm, I guess we should remove the "anime youtuber" mention from the thread, since he doesn’t talk much about anime anymore.

Admittedly I asked myself if there was nostalgia for the film, since the general recollection I got was that the original was considered...rather terrible, even if it was a very important part of Michael Jordan’s career (he credits his working on the movie for getting him back in shape for his second NBA run, and actively made fun of himself for trying to play baseball, which considering how much Jordan treats sports as Serious Business is a rather candid admission).

He’s more a general Youtuber these days.

I saw the movie not long ago and it really is only remotely worthwhile to see the looney tunes characters as a novelty. The script is exceptionally contrived and Jordan's acting isn't good.

I can't believe that SEW made a 33 minute video to elaborate on his shitpost Micheal Jordan/Bugs Bunny slashfic and post it to his 1 million+ subscribers like this is an out of date April Fool's joke.

But how does this tie into Barkley?

maybe the setting of that game was a result of time travelers trying to prevent Jordan's rise to godhood by outlawing Basketball?

I genuinely didn't realise he was fucking with me until I saw the photoshopped Jordans.

I realized it when the footage of the 'Anonymous Warner executive' still had John's distinct accent despite the digital alteration. Then I figured the twitter account was an anagram of Michael Jordan before the video did and put the pieces together.

I think I suspected something was amiss when I saw the photoshopped Jordans, but It took the appearances of the Jokers to make me realize that it was a hoax

I though something was off when the video opened with a quote attributed to Elmer Fudd.

Also, I feel like the Space Jam video helped me understand something in my own family's history that's been puzzling me. When my aunt was putting together our family's genealogy, she found that one of our ancestors had moved from Ireland to the US during 1862- in the middle of the US' civil war. Why would somebody go through all the trouble to uproot their lives to move to a country that was at war with itself? Now I think I understand why she would do that; she had a premonition that this video was going to exist, and didn't want anything to do with the country that would produce it.
