Valkyrie's being framed at the end as an antagonist. Which is weird but also kind of cool.

This chapter was heavy with Fairy Tail Cameos.

Touka, Natsu, Lucy, and of course, the robber in the Ichiya mask.

There was also a Plue mask robber.

So Shiki's afraid of bugs huh.

Sounds like it's going to be played off similarly to Natsu's motion sickness. The only real weakness he has, which can be both Played for Laughs and a legitimate handicap at the same time.

Honestly found the chapter kind of boring.

Not much happened in this chapter aside from revealing Shiki's fear of bugs.

It's been around for a while apparently, since that chap with Elsie's introduction and the little tentacle critters.

Twenty bucks says Lavillia asks for a date with Shiki or something equally lame.

Lavillia might just be the most despicable character Mashima's ever wrote and that's saying a lot. Fortunately anime will save the world. Also Shiki is about to unleash the demon king on BDSM man.

Yeah, Lavillia is pretty awful. Honestly, if she ended up in the slums, I would be fine with her staying there. But Rebecca is too nice for that unfortunately.

If its not there already should hate sink be added to Lavillia's character page?

Honestly, I'm not feeling that much about Lavillia's vileness but I think she makes it a little bit I guess. I'm thinking about frigging Illeega, Dr. Muller and Jamiroff as Hate Sink

I'm thinking she might have set it up with Nino there, even if it was a big dick move.

Now I understand why you guys want Lavillia to have a Hate Sink trope especially when she belittled Rebecca. On the other side, seems that Homura got captured and Shiki is to the rescue. However, there's something interesting that I want to mention. It is stated that Nino is a B-Cuber specialized in otaku stuffs and seems that some of the people know "Japan" as a conuntry.. Now the interesting thing I want to ask is, I wonder if Edens Zero actually has Japan country in their universe. Especially planet Earth

So Shiki just beats the other dude up, Ether Gear can be disabled if your hands are tied, and Rebecca meets another student of Valkyrie who has a B cube with a secret...and just has to steal her panties for some reason.

The cube reveals what happened to Valkyrie too. Wonder what it is, though it's unlikely she won't return to the ship in some way.

I'm amused how Nino kinda got away scot free (so far) despite basically being a bad guy.

Y'know, 'they can't use their powers if their hands are tied' is a reasonably clever plot device. Like, it's a totally arbitrary weakness, but it's a lot easier to work into the story that the Motion Sickness thing from FT, and realistically they were all going be taken captive at some point anyway, so might as well make sure that's plausible now.

He interviewed Mashima some time ago and got asked if he could base a character on him.
