To be fair, Fallout New Vegas in the Fallout 4 engine is sort of like all those projects to remake Oblivion and Morrowind in Skyrim, or to remake GTA San Andreas in GTA V. It's the kind of thing no one really expects to come out at any point, because a new game will eventually come out and all efforts will switch to that one.
Fallout Miami isn't a 76 mod, either, it's a Fallout 4 fan-expansion. So you're wrong on multiple counts
I wouldn't say Skywind is going nowhere. They're still consistently updating and have reached the point of closed beta / alpha testing, IIRC, to the point that they're starting on voice work. And it's not like there's no precedent for a mod like that actually making it to release - AFAIK the old "Morrowind in Oblivion" mod is pretty much feature-complete and freely available. Also Black Mesa.

I’d love to play Skywind.
someone got banned because t hey had "too much ammo" because the played the game for over 900 hours.
Okay that's it for me you can close the internet they're not topping this one in my eyes.
say it with me : the TENGEN. TOPPA. GURREN. LAGANN. OF FUCKUPS.
Mad props for soemone to enjoy the game enough to dump 900 hours in it though.

I mean, I feel bad for the person.
But why am I laughing so hard?!?!
I mean, Bethesda managed to find the one, most dedicated person who was still playing their PR disaster of a game, the one individual who took this bombed game and made it the one they loved and dedicated all of their time to... and banned him for being too successful in it.
I basically ugly laughed at this.
Jim Sterling is having a field trip.
For the record, Reddit believes the game tracks when items are picked up, but not from, and might not track when items are dropped. So trading ammo between accounts or players might trip Bethesda's flags.
My God.
Bethesda is gonna need a page under the Fallen Creator page if any of their next projects are as big a fuck up as this game has been.
Watch SymphogearI've deleted the game.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Didn’t we have a person on this thread who loves this game?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'd imagine they got put off because everyone kept posting about how awful the game was, or rather, how awful we've all heard the game was. Then the conversation shifted from "this game is objectively terrible" to "Betheseda is objectively terrible."
Which might not be wrong, but, yeah. [1] [2].

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!We did, but I think they gave up right about the time where the thread turned into the Fallout 76 Cockup List.
I dunno, we did try at first to talk about other stuff regarding the game, but with all the problems that kept cropping up (especially in the beginning, when they were more frequent), the conversation inevitably turned back towards Bethesda's errors, and at some point I think everyone just kinda gave up on talking about the actual game because the problems were eclipsing it so damn hard.

900 hours is 10 hours per day, every day, for 3 months. Fallout 76 released November 14, so that's pretty much exactly 3 months right now.
I sorta liked this game when I played it-the issue is it has a bug for me that's very weird...and actually isn't Bethesda's fault-I think I have an outdated graphics card.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"I'd find it hard to think of a GOOD game to play that much. Especially for 10 hours a day, non-stop, for three months.
I played Assassin's Creed Odyssey for 200 hours to complete everything possible in it (mostly location hunting), and that was a good game, but I got pretty sick of it nonetheless. I can't imagine Fallout 76 being THAT fun for 200 hours, let alone 900.
Optimism is a duty.I still love the game but I agree Bethesda has royally fucked up business wise with this banning/canvas bag stuff (Though I feel like everything wrong with the game is Zenimax side stuff). I still like the game but I'm waiting for more updates to go back in.
So yeah I stopped posting because I didn't really have anything to add when the thread went to Bethesda bashing.

"Love, love will tear us apart, again."Yup. Kinda just turned into "skyrim man bad."
I initially enjoyed the game because I had a friend to play it with but we both lost interest hard once we reached the endgame.
I had to lol at the 900 hours that person poured into Fallout 76 ... but ... I feel really bad for them regarding the ammo.
I honestly wonder how they managed to clock in that much time. The only games I have nearly that much time in are Skyrim and maybe one of the previous Monster Hunter games, but I've had those for years.
People who have no job and get really addicted to specific games. (Or also leave the game running a lot in the background. 900 hours doesn't measn 900 hours active. I have a friend who has Civ VI constantly running, but they don't play it all the time).
It's not unknown. If he was actually playing the game 900 hours, heck, Bethesda might've done him a favor. Like, I'm not one of those "Games are bad" guys but fuck. There's no game anyone should play THIS much.
Well, that's a confusing name, then.
Optimism is a duty.
