Reiko, Fire Nation Palace

The light of this room was restored, and Reiko didn't even wait to confirm her takedown before she turned around. Briefly blinded by the fire, she took a dangerous amount of time to inspect it as tiny bolts of flame whizzed past her.

Reiko had one target in mind, and the moment she saw it she ran for cover. Her rifle was still in one piece, but at the far end of the room and well past the fireslingers. Getting it was her priority...but was it possible?

Her eyes darted over to the smaller Vessel. It was many things, including on fire, and it was leaking...she couldn't describe it as blood. She couldn't describe it at all, really.

...Could she kill two birds with one stone?

No time to think with the bug dashing ahead, so Reiko sprinted in the opposite pattern, alternating between running and hiding just as it had. The moment the little Vessel jumped up, she jumped forward.

Taking a running start, she tried to leap over the moat of fire, holding her case in front of her like a shield. As the heat below her stung, licking at the bits of exposed clothing peeking through her armor, she tried to land a flying tackle on some kind of unfortunate guy.

Gunther - Akihabara

Marx gobbled up Gunther's Cool Ranch chips in a heartbeat. In Marx's words, the flavor is quite heavenly. Junko also complimented him by saying his story is pretty interesting. Lune will be impressed that Gunther's making so many friends in one day. In fact, Marx and Junko are gonna visit Lune's stand soon.

“Great... I, uh, got these chips from that restaurant in that Adventurers' Guild. I gave the chef a copy of an old family recipe. And she's been making it for like a while, I think? I can take you both to Lune's stand if you want.”

Malia - Team Rocket Base

The city doesn't need a man like Giovanni at all. Everyone's trying to be the hero in Giovanni's opinion. Some of them even went to the Fire Nation to put an end to their tyranny. Malia's boss even went to join in on their shenanigans. Giovanni feels like he's not needed here. Perhaps, not even wanted.

Malia frowns at what she heard from this honest businessman. This Giovanni seems like a good person. Is it possible that Lune and Hiccup were wrong about him?

“I'm sorry to hear that, Mr. Giovanni... I hope your new destination will give you someone to protect.”

Shrine Gate — Kylo Ren

Kylo gave Shigure and Morgrim a once-over as they approached. Obviously they were from a lower tech dimension, but that meant very little in a place such as the Frontiers. He let Char take the lead for now; there was no point in answering Shigure merely to hear himself speak. Nevertheless, the Knight of Ren kept an eye on Shigure's blade, ready to go from calm to combat in an instant.

The Adventurer - Wendy's

"No monsters huh....? Well there goes the hunting business then." She said actually rather dejectedly, both her ears and her tail drooping, those things really just moved on their own it seemed. But she perked back up when she thought about something else Djeeta said. "So you're a waitress right? Do they need any cooks? I'm good at that. Fishing too, I noticed there's a river nearby."

Junko - Akihabara, Marx’s Circus Performance Spot

And Junko was starting to get bored again. As entertaining as that last story was, she didn’t feel like listening to another one right now, which is likely what would have happened once they went to Lune’s stand. She really didn’t feel like waiting another five to twenty minutes to talk to Marx about some of her more interesting ideas once Gunther Gunther went off to do his own thing. Maybe she’d ask some other time.

Actually,” said Junko, there’s still some things I need to take care of, so I guess I have to get going for now.

So, Junko left and began to head towards her own abode. She was even starting to get bored of the Monokuma accessories she wore. Maybe she’d go back to what she wore before the Tragedy, or she might make something new based on either what that maid was wearing or those two angels, though their flame scrunchies were a bit tacky.

Eh..he's got other things to do...besides, Junko took her chance, so he will too.

"Not now...I've got to do some things, like...staying here...and getting more money!", Marx sounded sad.

Yorktown - Harbor

"I'm not leaving you behind, sis!" Yorktown protested. "I promise I won't go out ahead, but I'll still stay with you. There's so many of them I don't want to leave you alone."

Naga - Adventurer's Guild

"Dohohohoho!" Naga laughed at Yukari's words.

And laughed....

And laughed.

"Why, mere words are incapable of describing the sheer power of Naga the Serpent," Naga the Serpent said to Yukari with mere words. She threw an arm around the young girl and squeezed her tight, as if trying to press her into a wine. "But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the praise. Keep it up."

She pulled away and stood up when Juri came by, asking about what had happened.

"Oh, nothing to worry about," she said. "Just some puffball whose distorted little body was nearly as inflated as his ego who wanted to start a little trouble. It was nothing that a Naga Punch to the family jewels couldn't solved."

She flexed her right arm, clenching her hand into a fist, and threw a reduced-speed uppercut into the air, accenting it with a "ka-blam" sound.

"Well if we're not eating anymore, what are we even doing sitting around?" she asked, drawing out the last few words in a bored tone. "Weren't we going to go out? There's so many of those carts that the villagers brought when they moved in, we can just tie one off to your ABC and then we'll be ready to go! We can put all sorts of loot on it!"

chaos in the fire nation palace

Pulling himself up from his prone position on the floor in the aftermath of the flashbang, chaos settled in behind the closest pillar. He didn't have to wait long for the situation to change again. Either the firebenders were lighting up the area for their own benefit, or drawing on an existing source of fire was less tiring for them. In either case, his current position was safe as the first waves of flame bullets streaked by and chewed into the side of the pillar to little effect.

Taking a deep breath, he narrowed his eyes and focused his concentration for several seconds, watching the rhythm of the passing fireballs. ...There! Spotting a brief opening in the timing, he sprang out into the open in a sideways leap, his palms raised at the ready. The moment one of the enemies was in his sights, he minutely adjusted his aim, then unleashed a duo of entropic energy blasts aimed for the guard's helmet and chestplate, just like the last one. He didn't stop to see the result as his smaller bug ally descended on that foe, however, abruptly teleporting back to the safety of the pillar before he even hit the floor.

From his vantage point, however, his gaze caught the tail end of Reiko's mad dash. "Oh no!" What was she thinking?! He'd thought the tall woman was the stoic and silent type that was prone to calculated thinking, but now it turned out she was actually just the unusual combo of taciturn and reckless. Abandoning his own caution since both enemies were being bodily assaulted anyway, the hooded man drew the knife at his waist and rushed toward the sniper's position.

Kaga - Bay

Kaga wasn't sure how to react to what M16 had just done, she had a lot of thoughts on it, and right now was honestly not the best time sort them out. She just kind of looked down after words, inspecting the rifle before nodding. "You don't need to worry about me, I have no intent on letting them sink me again".

With a shake of her head to try and clear her thoughts, Kaga dived into bay with the utmost pace, and began swimming her way to the wreckage of the Hibana when her rigging activated its propellers. Thinking this was strange given that they weren't supposed to work under water at all she paused for a bit to scan the sea with the rifle that M16 had given her. Causing her to briefly come back into her mind, who did she think she was to do that after continually treating her like she needed protection? It may have made a bit of sense, but.... it wasn't exactly mixing well in her head.

It was soon cleared out though, when the vision overhead was replaced by that of a zeppelin in flames crashing into the sea, tearing through the gates that she had just sacrificed her own ship to jam, her thoughts were now.... quite a bit harsher as she took off twords the Hibana's wreck at speed. Upon arrival she forced one of the remaining torpedoes that had managed to avoid detonation out from its mount and gave it a push to the surface where M16 and the others would be able to see it.

Her remaining tail then flicked back and forth while she thought, and without even considering the fact that she had some how already held her breath much long then she should be able too she dismounted another one of the torpedoes. She knew that if the ships had gotten loose Enterprise was now going to be gunning for them, and there existence was the whole reason she had planed this operation, to her destroying the cruisers instead of capturing them was tantamount to failure of the mission in the first place.

So she climbed onto the torpedo, and began to orient it with the biggest ship's rudder and propellers, before she ignited its engine and began manually guiding it to the target.... She could at least make sure that one was disabled but easy to repair.

Shirakami - Shore

"We just had to engage in an advance in the wrong direction due to a flying man who is able to melt steel... Uhhhhhhh you could say we have" she replied to M16 before she looked up when she heard attacks strike the zeppelin and saw it already begin crashing ".... I thought the type one lighter had bad build quality, there is no way a zeppelin should have went down like that.... at least our job is easier now" she commented on the fact. Looking back down at the ocean the torpedo now floating on the surface caught her attention, so she tapped Rico's shoulder and pointed to it.

"Is that a Type 91"

M4 - What is a Doll

"I was just asking of they had already had any experience with my sisters" M4 replied to Juri when she questioned what was being discussed about dolls, she had no idea that to her doll might have meant something else because the only thing she was ever used to it meaning was gynoids like her. Come to think of it, did android versions even exist? She couldn't recall ever having seen one.... Non human military robots yes, but never a humanoid machine with a male body-shape. Thia was definitely a question for another day.

Team Rocket's Base

Giovanni petted the Persian on his lap. If Malia paid close attention, he seemed to have the slightest frown on his face. "I doubt we'll be able to make any progress anywhere else. There's nothing but wilderness surrounding this blasted city, and I'd rather avoid the Fire Nation. Team Rocket is finished."

Giovanni finally gave in, and took a cigar out of the box and lit it. "If you run into Goro Majima at any point, tell him he's won. I won't be a problem for him anymore."

The Shoreline

Rico waved to the M16-wielding woman as she closed in. "Yeah. We have. Miss Fubuki is quite correct. He's really more of a flying phoenix than a person. If I were not assisting her in the takedown of..."

Rico was drowned out in that precise moment by the loud blasting noise of the zeppelin above - their target - being hit with a fireball and beginning to incinerate. The professional rebel watched with rapt attention as the blimp sailed down and out of the sky, exploding all the while, before knocking down the gates to the Fire Nation's capital in a massive funeral pyre.

Rico whistled. While he was somewhat disappointed he hadn't been the one to bring the blimp down, he could always appreciate a nice light show like that. "Well, you know what they say - you play with fire, and you get Hinden-burned."

A second after expressing his comedic genius, Shirakami tapped him and pointed out an oblong object in the water. Rico squinted. "...Yes? I am not sure what a Type 91 is. But if you are asking if that is a torpedo, well, it sure looks like one."

Hiccup and Toothless - Over Fire Nation Harbor

"Woo-Hoo!" Hiccup said seeing the airship go down. Then it looked like it was going down on the net keeping the Fire Nation ships out.

"Oh no..."

Toothless would keep from shooting plasma blasts if Siluca wanted to keep the ships intact, but he would keep moving to prevent them from being hit, and, if the opportunity presented itself, would swoop in, grab an unlucky crewman, and toss him overboard.

"Enterprise, Yorktown, this is Hiccup. Siluca and I are trying to take out the artillery on the ships and we need you two and Kaga to pilot them afterwords. We could also use the tank and the other ground forces to put pressure on them if they can help right now."

Malia - Team Rocket Base

Giovanni continues to explain his situation in detail. There's only wilderness out there, so he can't exactly survive out there. He needs someone to spread the news of his defeat to a rival of his. His name is Goro Majima, apparently.

Malia salutes Giovanni and replies, “Will do, Mr. Giovanni. Isn't he that guy with the eye-patch?”

Gunther - Akihabara

Sadly, Junko and Marx aren't interested in Gunther's offer in heading to Lune's stand. They were busy with other stuff, apparently. What a pity. The other workers might be interesting to talk to than dull Gunther over here. Oh, well.

“Sorry about that, Marx... I wish you luck with whatever you're are doing in the future.”

Gunther heads off towards Lune's shop after leaving behind a bag of chips and some more Ducat for Marx. That'll satisfy the clown, right?

Forest

"We have the army part down at least. Spare me a few mushrooms so I can see about making the Pikgirls less small overall via trait splicing the effects into the Onions to see if we can trick the vessel into planting bigger specimens. Though I suspect it's not going to go as smoothly or quickly as you might want it to be." Nodding even as she made a little checklist for Bowsette's goals, the alchemist decided to turn her brain off ever so slightly so she could enjoy the inane energy of youthful passion.

"As for the castle, that too is easy enough to handle with transmutation. Just find me a place without people and I'll convert it into a suitable habitat slash lair." It had been a long time before she had been an unholy blight let loosed among the world and in this new land without those idiots and betrayers from the Helmuth Guild on her tail, she could be much more free with her actions.

Also... "As for the whole villain thing, I hope you have your speeches written and Modus Operandi planned. You also need a sort of theme going for you, a secret identity to mask your more public image so people can't track you as easily, so on and so forth..." Having been a Cypher Ranger (the pink one even) atop her infamous misdeeds from a bygone era, The Founder couldn't help but get into the swing of things as she rolled out the blackboard before scribbling down the game plan.

"Probably best to limit our reign of terror outside of this city since I actually like living here though one of my various ears and eyes out in the world have caught scent of a place dubbed Gotham that would probably be the best place for you to enjoy your reign of villainy... You already have the special vehicle even if it's a harlequin and not a dragon turtle theme..." Muttering under her breath while thinking of ways to spice up things, the alchemist's evil grin stretched from ear to ear in a manner that would make the Grinch feel that she was 'a mean one'.

Wendy's

"Good girl." Seeing that Void Termina was doing better via baby steps, Wendolyn gave a small grunt of approval before standing back up to her regular height. Though she wanted to help the girl out some more, the proprietress knew she wasn't exactly mother material and that curbing on someone else's independence like that was a no go.

But that still didn't make the doubt that someone this innocent would be left untainted by the sick whackos seen roaming around the place. Some of whom had even frequented her eatery not too long ago. No, it was too much guilt involved if she simply cut her losses without giving at the very least some sort of aid and helpful advice.

"If you ever need a place to work, then you can always come back here. I'll pay you via food. If you want to find a safe place to learn, then check out the school held in the giant tree in the forest. If you need help finding it, just come ask either me or the staff and we'll direct you there, okay?"

God Tree

Humming thoughtfully as she saw Kokichi walked away and labeling what the boy said as well as comparing his mannerisms with certain other self-destructive people she knew, the Dragon Knight simply sketched his face with alarming accuracy before posting it on the 'beware of strangers' section at the main viewing area so the children knew to be on guard around him.

Fire Nation Boss Fight

Staring at the firearm that Lady leveled his way with a bit of cautious curiosity, the Dai Li she fired at pretty much ate lead as his reaction speed wasn't faster than a bullet, especially when he didn't know how powerful and quick a gun could be. As two became one, the lone survivor then attempted to block off access to himself from the menace of dakka by surrounding a dome of earth about himself...

Which promptly backfired pretty spectacularly because he missed the duo of sword equipped robot people that promptly played a macabre real life version of the Pop-Up Pirate game, carving through the hastily constructed barrier to hack away at the much squishier human frame underneath.

Still, due to everyone focusing on the sacrificial Dai Li who stayed behind to tangle up the invaders, the ones who fled with the Fire Lord were able to hastily make their escape by raising a giant rock cocoon out of the ground which still thrummed with a rather alarming red glow like a beating heart as they carried it closer to the Fire Nation palace while Earthbenind impromptu walls and barricades behind themselves to attempt to slow the attackers down.

Fire Nation Harbor

As plasma, lightning, and bombs pelted the ironclad cruisers that were venting their being entrapped and going stir crazy with all the anger and wrath that their country was known for, people with a particularly sharp eye would notice that while quite a lot of men were dying or close to such due to the attacks, they were mostly those that wore the standard uniforms and thus the garden variety mook unit.

It was the ones that had more ornate and angular armor that proved to be much more resilient in surviving the scattered aerial raids, a couple perishing but the majority being able to Firebend their elements into diverting off into the side or redirecting the blooming fire on the decks of their ship into a funnel that steadily grew above their scattered vessels until it became a literal whirlpool of flames via wide sweeping circular motions that were kept in sync.

Even with eighty percent of the men out of commission, the remaining twenty were obviously a cut above as their synchronized movements began to condense the whirlpool into that of a thicker pillar of a hyper intense flame core in the center and a swirling pocket of air the whirled around from the differential temperature difference caused to become what was known as a fire tornado.

Soon enough, the swirling vortex was dragging in various debris and lighter attacks to become even more ferocious and intense as it began to be moved by the coordinated elite Firebenders towards the shore line, flinging superheated items it had sucked up prior out and about in random trajectories and filling the sky with burning refuse which was further excaberated when Kaga rammed a torpedo into lead ship that was carrying the majority of the elites.

Such an action would understandably then cause their control grow lax enough to drag the fire whirl across the deck of one of their own ships and fling the burning corpses of their own men into the whole rain of terror thing because the balance necessary to control fire was broken by the massive shuddering of something getting blown up royally.

Twin Angel Shenanigans

Having thanked Wendolyn and skipping out of the area after everyone was done doing their own things, the Archangels simply meandered about town for a bit before stopping in place at a random street corner so that Sandalphon could set up shop playing any and all songs that people would request after a bit of fine tuning and using her authorities to craft music wholesale while her sister simply stood in the corner to protect her dear sibling's dream of being a street musician by being one of the least physically imposing bouncers one could ever think of considering that she was a slender anime girl.

"You know what, Metty? We should open up a business once I get enough funds! We'll open up a music store that sells songs to this humdrum place and liven it up with music, spreading the joy throughout the lands to really make this place feel alive!" Now rather more excited than before (no small feat), Sandalphon all but bounced up and down on her tippy toes while exclaiming the childish dream to her protective elder sibling who simply gave a small nod as she doted on the energetic girl with a slight smile.

"If it makes you happy... then I'll help you with all my power like always, Sandy." Knowing full well that when Sandalphon wanted something to the point of really getting her engines revving was the point where she couldn't be stopped, the passive Metatron simply went along with the flow while planning the more humdrum aspects behind breaking into that particular market since her domain revolved around records and contracts.

A much more dry area for sure when compared to the artistic endeavors that was outputted by her other half but was still oh so important to real life expectations. It was best to do things behind the scenes as always, being the solid practicality and realism that served as the backbone to reinforce the shining idealism that her sibling represented.

Team Rocket Base

Giovanni took a puff from his cigar, and blew the choking smoke off to the side.

"The eyepatch, the ridiculous jacket, and the trashy tattoos. That's all there is to Majima. I can't stand him. If he knew what Team Rocket was before I was forced onto this blasted planet, he wouldn't dare cross me or my organization. He'd probably be begging for work at my doorstep, and I guess I'd hire him, maybe he'd be a janitor, or a gardener. You know what? Bowsette, Forest

"You can do those sorts of things too?" Bowsette sat up straight in surprise as she looked down at the small blonde girl across from her. When she'd decided to approach the mage, she'd just been looking for a magically powerful right hand to help with her plans. What she had gotten instead was a far more powerful and useful right hand than she could have imagined. She really was a genius. Another grin and laugh slipped from the koopa. "Perfect! Get on that quickly then! I need a good set of mooks to really get started. And I'll find you a good place. It needs to be a castle, too. I'll draw up the general look of it for you."

The Queen of the Koopa waved her hand dismissively and scoffed huskily, more amused than anything else. Leaning back on her hands, she said, "I was made to be a villain. Making speeches comes naturally to me, when I need them. Though usually my presence and laugh is enough to do the trick. It's all about body language." Her lips quirked down in a slight frown, the blonde clicking her tongue. "No secret identity. What would be the point then? They need to know who it was that conquered them! Who to face when they think they can fight back! A proper villain gives a clear goal to any enemies."

Cagliostro made a good point about leaving the current city untouched for now. Especially if it was going to become hers later on, after all. They'd have to be slow and steady with that one. Bowsette stroked the side of her face in thought. "Gotham, huh..." The name was familiar somehow, but in what way the koopa wasn't sure. "And what kind of place is this Gotham, then?"

Entry 002 Part 30 (Lune - Fire Nation Capital)

Even though the magician set up a protective barrier, Me and Ges sliced him up like a ham at a deli shop. I can't describe the gore here, 108. It's just too brutal. Anyways, the remaining magicians quickly set up earthy barriers in an attempt at preventing us from getting to the Fire Lord. I holstered my Zankantou and quickly charged up an energy blast. This time, I wanted to punch holes into these barriers in front of us.

“Cross Smasher!”

I fired a massive blast at the barriers. Hopefully, the magicians didn't set up too many barriers for me to blow up. I don't want my energy to burn too quickly.

Malia - Team Rocket Base -> Majima's Disco

Malia listens to Giovanni describing Majima in detail, so she can commit it to memory. This Majima sounds like a guy who waltzed off the set of a theater play. Then again, theater play stars dress to impress. Malia thinks that Majima may be a smelly hobo who somehow got lucky in comparison to Giovanni.

For a second, Malia zones out and imagines Majima as a drifter scavenging through things before running across his dance club by accident. Malia simply nods to Giovanni and mumbles, “Sure... Sure, I'll do that.”

The Rocket admin asks Malia if they could do one more thing for her since it'll be busy here.

While taking out a figurine of a rabbit doll from her bag, Malia says, “Take this. It's based off, uh, a story Gunther told me once. It's about a criminal who tries his hardest to reform for his family. His crime was that he killed someone in self-defense.”

Malia is holding back the tears when she recalls this story. It seems Gunther has a way with his words despite being a lazy slob most of the time.

“He's forced to deal with other criminals while being transported back to the main land,” continues Malia. “At the end, he gives this doll to his daughter while having a tender moment with her. I think this will give you luck on your journeys.”

After handing the bunny doll figurine to the Admin, Malia leaves Team Rocket's about-to-be disbanded base and heads towards Majima's base.

Milliana - Akihabara Streets

Meanwhile, Milliana is mumbling some prayers to the goddess Mila. She's determined to show that she's faithful to her one true goddess, you know. Suddenly, a pair of haloed humansnote appear in front of Milliana. Could they be fellow Mila clerics?

In any case, Mila kneels in front of them to show respect. Proper manners are important in Akihabara in Milliana's opinion.

"A—are you fellow clerics of our goddess Mila...?"

Majima Construction

As she approched the location of Majima's turf, Malia would hear Majima before she saw him, as someone was yelling into a megaphone.

"Alright, you've all been practicing very hard at this! Now it's time to show me what you can do! You all know the lines, and I've finally gotten a tape of the music, so now it's all on you!"

As Malia rounded a corner to reach the street Majima's holdings were on, she would see 20 random people standing in front of an eyepatched man who was standing on top of a box, megaphone in hand.

"Alright, music! And let's do this shit!"

A tape would start up, and for the next 3 minutes, the group would break out into song.

Deep in sleepless Akihabara

On the edge of an unknown world

From the mountains, we will look down

As we build a bright new day

And so the song would continue, even if Malia walked up to Majima before they were done, the workers singing and Majima nodding in approval.

Shiggy and Morgy, Shrine Gate

"Like I said, just getting to know the lay of the land, wandering about and searching for trouble to nip in the bud." Shigure explained with a slight shrug. "And I figure that some trivia about local architecture could go a long way as well." He added, tapping the gate structure with his free hand.

"Name's Shigure. This lady here is Morgrim." He gestured towards the cat, currently busy doing a very cat thing of idly licking her paw.

"Charmed." And yet her eyes were set on the two, particularly on Kylo and his mildly wary look.

"So, what does this gate do?" Shigure tapped the gate again. "You two don't seem like a type to wander about idly amongst the ruins." Right to the point, seemed.

Vessel, Vs. Fire Palace Elite

The good news was that they've managed to get two out of four guardians already. The somewhat bad news was that while the visibility increased now that the moat went afire, well, the moat went afire and they were in the middle of the blaze. The bad news was that its sibling caught on fire. Protective, familial feelings were something of a mixed bag amongst the voidborn, but being caught on fire was obviously a bad thing.

The blaze was brief, but the Lost Vessel seemed winded. With Reiko and the guy with light hair coming one way, the bugbeast decided to go after the one its sibling was going, to ensure its safety. Unafraid of the fire moat, it charged forward towards the firebender in question, hoping to distract them with a huge swing while the smaller Vessel went in for the kill.

M16A1 - Palace

"You gotta be kidding me...." M16 grumbled. As things just went... well, weird. Still, move it or lose it seemed to apply here, and she sure didn't want to be standing around with her thumb up her ass waiting for one of those hotheads to axe her.

She nodded at Reiko and sprinted ahead.

She planted her arms on her knees, her fingers folded over each other, letting her act like a springboard to give Reiko a boost to her jump so that she had a little more oomph when she decked a guy.

M16A1 - Bay

"Hindenburned... heh," M16 quietly laughed before they saw the bombers and torpedoes coming to bear on the ships.

"Yeah, guess Kaga managed to do that... thing. With the torpedoes," she told Rico and Shirakami. You know, now that she thought about it, was there some sort of strange cosmic significance to there being another white-haired fox with blue eyes that liked military hardware.

She shook her head.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Still, it seemed like that whole 'oh no maybe Kaga (and by extension, M16) betrayed us and we need to shoot them' idea wasn't gaining much traction with the two of them. Or at the very least, if it had been there, seeing the situation in the bay made them evaluate their assessment. Either way, Shirakami wasn't pointing her tank into the bay and trying to shoot Kaga, and Rico didn't seem to be doing the same with his weapon either, so it seemed like things were okay for now.

Well, as okay as they could be when you just managed to escape being burned alive by a giant Goodyear blimp only to have a bunch of angry sailors start trying to steer their ships at you.

She licked her lips as she thought. These guys weren't a threat for the time being, and those white-haired ships seemed to be focusing on the Fire Nation vessels while they were at it, so it looked like they were safe for now. That was priority one. Priority two was still the entire Goddamned Fire Nation.

"Well what the fuck are we sitting around for?" she suddenly said. "We've still got a Fire Nation to burn, and those ships could start unloading troops any second. That tank still got ammo?"

Kaga - Below the bay

Once she was sure the munition was on course to hit, the fox dismounted at the last minute... and was in fact buffeted and a bit disoriented by the blast.

Once she figured out her berrings though she looked around, there were still 2 ships that she knew of active in the area... this was finally the fight she had been waiting for. The fox licked her lips with anticipation before she began a crash dive to go fetch another torpedo.

In the process though she noticed the burning bodies falling into the sea around her... and in the process, what she had said to Wei came back to her, and with a yell of frustration that only really manifested as a bubble below the surface... she instead began a rapid ascent instead. Spiraling out of the water as she breached the surface.

From here she could see the misguided effort of forming a fire tornado, and watched it cautiously to make sure it did not aproach, for if it did she would have to once again submerge.

"Can't you see this is a futile effort?! You are out gunned, your munitions are no match for our own!" She yelled out to the ships in the bay, truth be told it was a lie at this point, there was probably at best one more intact torpedo aboard the hibana.... and while she wasn't sure, this had to have been depleting Enterprise's planes as well... but Kaga was good at concealing these details, burying them underneath her boisterous nature.

"Surender now and you won't be harmed, lower your flags and join under our banner and this ends!", she continued before giving further survey of the situation.... making note that the enlisted seemed utterly decimated while the officers were continuing to fight, she smirked slightly, and changed her aproach, "After all why should you have to die today for those born with abilities you don't have. If they won't turn your ship over.... remind them that no mater who you are, a blade doesn't care, and relinquish the ship yourselfs."

Shirakami - Tank on the shore

"That", Shirakami clarified as another one of the torpedos impacted the warship out in the bay. "If it can do that to a ship, what do you think it would do to bird man.... the problem is delivering it", she followed up while sitting down against the tank.

"Ammo yes, we have some left, the problem is armour, some of these flames are intense enough to damage metal, we already took a hit to the transmission, and one to the engine... we either need to end this fast enough we don't take a third, or stay out of direct combat"

Siluca - Fire Nation Harbor Skies

Despite Hiccup’s request, it did not seem like the tank was firing at the ships, though this might have been because of the combined fire from Siluca’s spells, Toothless, and what were probably Enterprise’s planes. The group consisting of her volunteers and Hiccup’s levy also seemed a bit delayed. Sometime during one of their dives on the ships, Kaga seemed to have gone into the water and was now floating on some oddly-shaped barrel.

Still, their efforts were making work of the troops on board, though the few that remained seemed to retain a startling degree of control over the resulting fires. It was a far greater degree than even she could manage at the peak of her own powers, and dousing such a thing would be difficult even if it would be easier to dodge in the air.

Yet, somehow the fiery funnel seemed to be pulling bits of debris from the battle, and even Siluca herself could feel its pull.

Clinging tightly to her wand, Siluca conjured a magical barrier whenever debris seemed to fly towards them. She didn’t think it would be able to do much against the flames or the spout forming in its center, but the mage trusted the dragonrider and his mount would stay out of it.

Then, to her surprise, the thing Kaga had been carrying exploded near the base of one of the ships. It was hard to hear and see with the fire, screaming, and distance, but after a few seconds to half a minute, Siluca thought she could hear Kaga’s voice.

“Hiccup,” Siluca asked, “do you know if M16 forwarded our request to Kaga?”

With all that was happening, she was unsure whether or not Kaga had actually received Hiccup’s message, especially with how quickly she was in the water after the message went out. If she was that close to the ship, the fox-boat would likely need assistance, though with the out-of-control flame-funnel getting there would be difficult.

Siluca’s Ground Forces - South of Fire Nation Harbor / Radio

After that attack, it appeared as though their leader had been busy firing at whatever enemies were on those ships. By ground forces, it sounded like the dragon rider was referring to them.

“Okay,” said Remi the cleric, addressing the others, “it looks like they want us to try attacking the forces on the ships.”

Though, Remi wasn’t entirely sure how they were going to get close enough. Maybe if they went back to the watchtower, but it didn’t see all that safe back there.

After a few seconds of seeing the growing fire tornado, Remi had doubts about following through with these orders. That giant fire funnel hadn’t formed when those orders were given, so was that really the best choice of action now.

“Hiccup, uh, how should we help out?” Remi said on the radio. I don’t think any of us can get close to those ships without…”

“Look out!” said Hei.

As some of the stray projectiles were flung in their general direction, the two earthbenders leaped from the mounts, went to the edge of the group, and conjured a pair of earth barriers to help deflect the debris.

Char - Shrine Gate

Char looked at Shigure tapping the gate and tried not to sigh. You know, would it kill someone to show some respect to someone else's property?

"I'd appreciate if you didn't do that. This gate is very sensitive, as for what it does: it functions as a portal to another location, or world. Haven't exactly figured out which of the two it is yet."

Enterprise - Fire Nation Harbor

Enterprise was pretty dead set on crushing as many of these ships as possible, she had already struck one down when Kaga disabled another with a torpedo. Looked like she wasn't hiding and waiting for the storm to blow over after all.

Still once she heard Kaga begin yelling her 'recruitment' speech, she signaled for the bombs to stop dropping. She would let Kaga attempt to convince the fire nation sailors to change sides and join them, but she had her planes climb high into the skies above to wait.

"If this doesn't work Yorktown, I want you to hit the bridge of one of the undamaged ships with everything you have."

She did not flinch as the fire tornado went nuts, remaining confident and unconcerned with the obvious danger in front of her was something she hoped would demoralize the enemy, or freak them out and get them to accept Kaga's offer.

Gespenst - Fire Nation Boss Fight

Gespenst wasted no time, grabbing his grand slash ripper and sticking it on his back before chasing after the Fire lord. His body guards were trying to carry him off to go recuperate, but he wasn’t interested in letting that happen. So off the black mech went, chasing the Dai Li agents as they tried to make it back to the palace, activating his boosters again to give him a boost in speed to try and catch up with the rock riders.
