face palms
Right, sorry, that came up in my Youtube feed and I just assumed it was a new video without checking the date.
Really gotta watch that show one of these days.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."It's on Crunchyroll's site. I think it's free?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Also available in either dub or sub if that matters to you.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Frankly I didn't find it as gut-bustingly hilarious as the anime community says it is either language.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I mean it's definitely a solid show, above average and worth a watch.
But I'm not precisely sure exactly why it's so popular though.
Maybe because of how popular Isekai is?
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI don't know, watching people being assholes to each other is irritating in real life but it can be immensely entertaining in fiction.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Konosuba is REALLY good at schadenfreude. Granted, it's fan service heavy and the cast can come off as annoying.
I still remember the movie getting a really positive review from of all people, Roger Avery, one of the writers of Pulp Fiction.
Never saw the show, I just know Aqua is useless.
In an actually recent episode, a certain despised movie adaptation gets roasted for about 45 minutes straight by Geoff.
It's been 3000 years…Gutting Dragon Ball Evolution the way it gutted the franchise it is adapting is never, ever getting old.
I remember seeing the trailer for this tosh way back when I watched the then new King Kong movie and getting genuinaly excited for it.
Oh, how betrayed I felt.
This is Dragonball, when has death ever mean anything?
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.I knew this movie was bad but had never seen much of it, the clips Geoff used and what he said about it just made it seem even worse than I thought.
If you have any affection at all for Dragon Ball this will make you go off the handle at least once.
If not, well, it's a good movie to watch with your pals as you take the pissout of it.
Ofc only after quarentine is over.
I don't normally care for things that are so bad they're good, but my god, I was laughing throughout this entire movie when I watched it, for all the wrong reasons.
Geoff's not wrong when he says it's like they deliberately did the opposite of everything that makes Dragon Ball what it is. It's fascinating.
What bothers me most personally is they turned Goku into a generic white teenage everyman who in no way resembles the original character. I'm not even a huge fan of Goku personally, but that's just garbage.
Not that the other characters are all that faithful to the originals either.

I find very disheartning that Super Eyepatch Wolf never covered DBE, considering just how much he loves Dragon Ball.
Well he has a lot of stuff he wants to cover still, maybe someday he'll get around to it. He did a video on GT after all.
I wonder if he'll cover Super also.
I like both Super and GT, but while they show different symptoms, they share the same root problem: they were mostly Toei execs doing whatever the hell they wanted.
Still, at least the movie was phenomenal.
Is DBE better or worse than The Last Airbender in terms of how reviled live action adaptations go? I'd say it's better than The Last Airbender because at least the Dragon Ball fanbase doesn't make memes about there being no Dragon Ball Evolution, like "There is no Last Airbender in Lake Laogai."
It's been 3000 years…No, DBE is worse.
There is an attempt to make TLA visually and conceptually faithful to the cartoon, Race Lift aside.
DBE just flat-out gutters the source material in the opening monologue.
I mean, I'm pretty sure even people who hate DB can tell what the Oozaru is and why it being a slave of Piccolo is bullshit.
Yeah, TLA at least tried, and supposedly Shyamalan is actually a fan of the series. The main issue with that movie is that it tried to cram an entire season's worth of story into about 90 minutes, it was doomed before they even began filming.
But it gave it us Seychelle Gabriel as Asami, so that's cool.
Well there's also the terrible acting from the cast, terrible casting in general, writing, & special effects.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
That's from last November.
