How important is a Daytime Emmy, out of curiosity? I don't pay attention to awards.

Most tv shows make fun of tv show awards

Yeah, but I was kinda hoping it was this huge thing that might convince Netflix they can't cancel it. I'm in a bit of a mood about Netflix right now.

We know that season 2 is being made, I don't really see any reason to consider the possibility of cancellation at this juncture.

It’s not gonna get cancelled. It’s just gonna ride out the guaranteed episode count as quickly as possible (think it’s four seasons) and then Mattel will shove it to one side and pretend it never happened while throwing all its weight behind the MOTU movie.

What?

"Canceled" was the wrong word because [up]that is what I meant. Netflix has a habit of not renewing series past the initial contract, since more episodes of an existing series don't bring in many new subscribers, but making a new series brings in plenty.

And I'm pretty sure the current order is just for 26 episodes.

No, the current order is for 52, so for four seasons of 13 each.

I could live with that, then. Obviously I'd prefer for it to be renewed, but I'm sure they can tell a reasonable story in 52 episodes.

[up]Anime does it all the time. No reason this show can't.

Hey, at least Dreamworks is pretty generous with its episode orders. There's other Netflix cartoons that don't have the same good luck.

Last parts definitely look like relationship upgrade.

First parts hints at Catra, Scorpia, Bow, possibly Glimmer/Glimmer's dad/Glimmer's dad' staff...uhhh something. Scorpia wil zap Bow?

Entrapta is definitely going to be a problem for the princess alliance in the next season; that is very much the same infection that took Adora out of commission in her debut episode.
