I remember hating on Entrapta because I just knew people who were just like her,at times super annoying and unpredictable
then empathy mode activates I feel bad for her because its behaviver she can't help (well OK,she can its really difficult her to know when to stop)
plus you know, seeing myself in her at times..
New theme music also a boxI have heard some other autistic people dislike her portrayal in the latter seasons due to them somewhat infantilizing her at times. One of the more prominent ones I've seen was when the other princesses were pulling her around d on a leash like a wandering child.
it was either a leash or they had to physically manhandle her, both are bad but the situation was desperate and the princesses were basically at the end of their patience
New theme music also a boxIt still seems somewhat questionable to have someone who's a grown woman be led around like an unruly child. I mostly get the sensation that it was done this way because the writers thought it would be funny but didn't quite think through the implications.
Implications aside it does make sense considering she never explained what she was doing combined with the fact that they were if I remember correctly on a stealth mission and wanted to avoid detection.
Something hard to accomplish if one member of the team has a bad habit of wandering off on her own with no intention of explaining why.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaDidn’t much care for the leash at all, and I felt the show couldn’t decide what Entrapta’s issue was or what her arc was supposed to be. Nor does it really do a good job of her and her teammates resolving their differences. She just kinda decides to not be distracted and the others don’t really have to do anything to accommodate her disorder. The show is really good when it comes to queer representation, but disability is a noticeable point of weakness in its story, including how it’s not until the final season that a single disabled character appears who isn’t a villain.

Well, Entrapta's more a gigantic Wild Card than a full-on villain, but that wasn't much better in practice because of the massive trust issues brought on by it.
there's a reason she fit so well in the hoard
New theme music also a boxThe Horde under Hordak's leadership was genuinely the best place for Entrapta to thrive. Again, the Princesses were awkwardly polite to her because she was useful at best, while Scorpia was genuinely friendly towards Entrapta despite understanding nothing that she did and Hordak gave her all the resources she'd ever need or want and supported her scientific efforts.
I want to say the leash thing was just the writers not thinking through the Unfortunate Implications and finding it funny, but yeah, it sure is unfortunate. The 'only villains have disabilities' thing I think is a consequence of the setting's The Magic Versus Technology War vibes. People using technology to help them live with their disabilities is more relatable than magic aids and showing the villains suffering with disabilities is a way to humanize them.
Oissu!and as someone noted as felines they share the same number of neurons
New theme music also a boxentrapta is weird because it feel she didn't really willing switch sides and more that she just become friend with scorpia and hordak and make robot for them without caring exactly the use of it, which make the episode were they become friend again kinda silly, since there and air of "why, are you saying I join the bad guys?"
Like it feel she just miss the point of the plot and hang out with hordak just because. Kind of hilarious in a weird way
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"there's also the fact she tought they had knownly abandon her, if you ended up thinking your friends left you to die, I can imagine many would be changing sides.
There's a reason I have a certain antipathy for Entrapta that I find darkly hilarious given the [ahem] other character that receives the concentration of the fandom's apportioned scorn.
Entrapta does'nt seem the type to bear a grudge against them though, she just saw it as an opptunity

New theme music also a boxprobably not but she probably took it as she having no other choice at that point.
Entrapta seemed to really struggle to even internalize the fact that there WERE two opposing faction, ESPECIALLY early on.
I noticed that, too. She's the type to hold all that against herself rather than others.
I still want to know what was going on with the other kingdom political systems. Bright Moon was the only kingdom with a king and queen, who was in charge of the other kingdoms? Who was running Entrapta's kingdom, was it just anarchy?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.> Who was running Entrapta's kingdom, was it just anarchy?
she's a stay at home princess
-nods-
New theme music also a boxI have a bit of suspicion that Entrapta's 'kingdom' hasn't been much more than her castle for some time.
her kingdom is probably a Principality in all likelyhood yeah

New theme music also a boxFrom what I recall, it was indicated the that other kingdoms were run by their princesses. (Making them, as noted by Ultimatum above me, technically principalities.)
My Games & WritingMy headcanon is that most kingdoms or principalities or whatever in Etheria are constitutional monarchies, with the princesses being in charge of ceremonial duties and defense. The exception to this is Brightmoon because Angela's inmortality means that they are more traditional.
Looking through the She-Ra wiki, it appears that Bright Moon and Salineas are monarchies, the Kingdom of Snows was forced into a principality, Mystacor is a school, Plumeria is a nature commune, and Dryl is just a castle full of robots and servants.

She's still coded as autistic. It's kind of obvious.
