I'm rather amused by H'aanit's characterization per chapter.
Chapter 1: Long spiel about how it's necessary to respect nature, and not to kill needlessly and how life intertwined. Ghisarma must die because it's a threat to man and beast! There's no other choice.
Chapter 3: "Oh, a Dragon. I thought they were all extinct! What a rare and exotic sight! Well... it's in the way of those herbs I need. Get fucked Dragon. Time for you to actually become extinct." What, was waiting for it to leave not an option?

Well the first one is because it's an invasive species that was killing things indiscriminately.
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaIt's not that dragons are extinct/near extinct. It's the intelligent ones who can speak to humans that are gone except for Kaia's egg. From what Susanna says, killing a dragon is basically a rite of passage for hunters.
I think that 'the displacing of nature' thing was also kind of an excuse for chapter 3, if I remember correctly.
Gotta say, I was sort of expecting a 'fatherhood' thing from H'aanit's ending, but the idea that this whole adventure is about her stepping out of his shadow to make her mark and tell her own story is one that makes sense in retrospect.
Also, what the fuck was Redeye supposed to be because that does NOT look r sound like any beast I know.
Ophilia left. Then we'll see about the endgame. I did NOT do well against the remaining two super job bosses.I came close with Winneheld, but I couldn't nail the last stretch.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectOnce I kill Runelord I’m going to spit down his neck. Not having a grand time with this fight.
i. hear. a. sound.Finished Tressa, my main. It feels weird to switch her out and not have her leading the party anymore. I'm going to miss all the free money.
Next up is Ophilia. Let me just say that Lianna is definitely The Scrappy to me. What An Idiot to the extreme.
explaining what redeye is is massive spoilers, unfortunately.
Winneheld is a joke if you have a Runelord Tressa. Literally, the boss cannot hurt the party. It's comical.
Picked up this game and am having a blast so far. Going through the first chapters of all the characters (the level requirement for the next chapters are pretty ridiculous if you ask me.) but I realized once you have a full team with at least one over-leveled character, things are much easier.
I'm not afraid to say that I died numerous times to the first boss. I started with Ophelia and wanted to solo it. Thought I was prepared by got screwed over multiple times. It wasn't until I realized you could charge your attacks and that I was a summoner I won. (lol)
I decided to go counterclockwise to the next place and got Hanni't. Her summons work pretty well and did a fantastic job against the her boss as well as having a cleric to heal her. I will say however I'm not a fan of the Antiquated Linguistics. It just bogs down the dialogue soooo much. A simple conversation could be about a monster needing to defeated and the characters have to make it as flowery as possible. Bleak. At least with the other routes its not nearly as bad.
I realized that I like Therion more than I thought. I'm not a fan of thief characters, but he's pretty chill. He has a pretty good skillset outside of battle (when it works) and he can be pretty useful for some enemies.
The only major complaint I have so far is that the game is super bright with it's contrast. It looks gorgeous, but in some cases I couldn't see pathways or items because I couldn't tell due to the perspective if their was a path or not.
I got this game recently as well. I've only gotten Ophilia, H,aanit, and Cyrus so far but I'm loving the game. The combat is really fun and challenging, finding the different vulnerabilities of each enemy is fun, and all the abilities are fun to use. H'aanit's first boss gave me quite a bit of trouble but I figured out what I was doing wrong and beat him after a few tries. I really like the sort of episodic storytelling although I wish the characters interacted more. Or if they would at least explain why all these different people decide to journey together. Other than that though the game's fantastic.
All right! Finished Alfyn. ...either I can bash my head against Runelord again, or I can finish Primrose.
...I think I'll finish Primrose.
i. hear. a. sound.Clearing up some sidequests and the job bosses. Winnehild went down with a team of Ophilia, Cyrus, Olberic and H'aanit.
I was considering Tressa (the transfer rune plus sidestep was tempting, for sure), but ultimately that wasn't necessary.
Now H'aanit is death, destroyer of worlds.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project@Ducolamia: I'm not sure if you can change the contrast itself in Settings, but if the shadows around the edge of the screen bother you like they did me, you can turn those off pretty easily.
It's been fun. That's what I'm talking about! I couldn't put my finger on it but it bothered me so much. Is there a way too turn it off or down a little bit? It doesn't destroy the game for me, but it kind of hinders the experience a little bit.
Yes, there's a setting for it right in Options (or Settings or whatever) from the main menu. Just look for Corner Shadows a bit down the list.
It's been fun.One thing that may sound a little silly, but which I appreciated as a Christian: they didn't do the whole 'this suspiciously Roman Catholic-styled religion is evil' thing quite a few Japanese games tend to do (like in Xenoblade 2, a game I enjoyed).
Sure, you had a really skeevy Bishop in Primrose's chapter 2, but he was definitely acting as an individual and it wasn't portrayed as a systemic thing.
Again, a silly thing to be concerned with, but I was expecting and dreading that trope throughout Ophilia's story and it was a relief that they didn't do it.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectSo I found the endgame.
I uh, think I'm going to level up my B-Team. They're a few...dozen or more... levels off the pace.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectOh dear. Glad I've been keeping everyone (bar my chosen one Ophelia) within five levels of each other.

i. hear. a. sound.Yep, they pretty much go out of their way to punish the ones playing Quadropath Traveler.
It's not super serious. My Olberic, Ophilia, and H'aanit are basically up to or close to Level 70, Cyrus and Alfyn are in their mid-50s (which I think is fairly acceptable). It's just that Tressa, Therion and Primrose are in the 40s. I think I'm going to try running those 3 and the 50s as my main party for a while to get them up before I make any serious attempts.
Therion is my least played, so he's gonna need some work.
Also, I encountered a weird glitch yesterday that I didn't think to capture. I got into a battle, and the characters in my main party were for some reason standing in the background (as if they were just walking around the map) while also fighting in the foreground. Kind of spooked me a bit.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThe game is totally kicking my ass right now. Decided to finish everyone's first chapters so I'd know who I'd want to play with and so I could level up everyone at the same time. The second chapters are brutal. My main (Ophelia) is level 27 and the required character (Tressa) is level 21 my the rest of my party (Primrose) and (Alfyn) are level 19. The boss's HP is insane. Even more than the HP sponge that was Therion's chapter 2 boss. Any advice for grinding? I already unlocked jobs and with Primrose as a Thief her buffs are great, but she's too frail.
Anyway, I can already tell I'm gonna need to grind a bit. The next chapter's requirement for Therion is 36 and I'm 22. I like the fact that the game scale's the levels, but I need an easier way to grind.
^The dungeons for the Chapter 2s give pretty decent EXP, I think. I had a lot of success farming levels up to at least 22 for all eight by running around mindlessly in Primrose's Chapter 2 dungeon for a while, since most of the enemies are weak to the same things.
Also, do you have the job shrines unlocked?

It's been fun.I found that as long as you're regularly rotating out party members(except your lead who's locked)as you're doing the chapters you shouldn't need to grind too much.
Also seconding unlocking as many of the secondary jobs as you can, they're a huge help in getting more coverage and more specific passives.
