Persona 5 (Actual Anime show)

The main purpose of the anime to me, is to give the main character a canon personality for spinoff material. Also making them entertaining, since Yu was honestly the best part of Persona 4 The Animation. I guess giving us more character moments that didn't happen in the game as well.

I wonder if they're going to display more of Joker's personality because right now, he's a bit bland which is something Joker isn't

Right now the most we have seen is Ren arriving, Joker is where his Trickster side shines until his grows more comfortable..

I don’t know if that’s really going to be the case Most of what Yu is in P 4 A was already present in the game just ramped up, P5 doesn’t really do any of that outside of some confidants hell the game regularly removes events that might lead to laughs or makes them go so badly that there isn’t room for that

I would love it if the anime tosses in more comedic elements, somehow. I liked that people weren't quite as hostile since I thought that was a bit much to begin with.

Looks like there's gonna be a surprise deviation from the games' story for the anime.

Most likely it'll be Akechi survives and/or stays with the PT

Yeah that's top tier levels of nope. That piece of crap does not deserve to live.

I suppose it was too much to hope for Sae being the canon love interest being the deviation.

Watching this made me realize how much more I enjoy the english dub for P5. Also Sojiro seemed too low key during this, in the game he was a straight up jerk at first, but here he feels tough but fair. I do hope we get some of the wackier responses from Joker. We didn't see much from his personality so far.

If the surprise is about Akechi, I can only assume the anime will tone down his evil to make it more palatable.

But he's still gotta kill Haru's father, so he's still gonna be pretty guilty. We'll see how it goes.

Nope Nope Nope, I am seriously out if they even think of doing that.

Maybe the change they'll make is actually showing his death, complete with body being riddled with bullets.

Nah he was far harsher that first week or two before lightening up a bit to allow the game to open up and start of his slink.

Could they possibly change the identity of the Traitor? Or is that too much of a change to consider?

Depends on who it is.

There is literally no one else they could choose that wouldn't drastically alter half of the story.
