Yeah, the first thing I thought of upon hearing that guy's "criticism" of the show (and CW The Flash which isn't really valid) was that one clip from the show The Boondocks when Grandpa Freeman tells Huey to hush when the kid called him out for using the n word alot. I am tempted to play that clip as it was my favorite scene from the show and is fitting for this situation, but I am afraid the government will come in and shoot up my computer for using a copyrighted clip (oh and I might get thumped for playing an unedited clip for somebody using a racial slur, or some bs).
Point is, that guy is an idiot. Especially with the insane troll logic he puts in explaining some hidden message in innocent scenes that wasn't even there to begin with . . . but seriously, we have to do something about net neutrality.

In future please avoid linking to people like Shawn James ,I hate to think how much attention we've already given them
If linking his videos here was part of some trolling effort then please don't that again
New theme music also a boxOk then I will not do so again
Thank you
New theme music also a boxAnyway, black douchebag aside, I do like the pilot for the show. It establishes the characters and their world for us to get familar with. The jokes are legitimately funny, ranging from sensitive chuckles to full boisterous laughter. And the art/animation is good to look at from the lighting of the environments to the shading of characters at specific moments.
Basically this show seems like Clarence 2.0 to me with its premise and character designs. I hope that the network won’t treat the show like Clarence and barely give it any airtime for kids to watch.

also, the 4Chan douchbags have been the funniest thing to surface from this series showing up. I'm sorry, but whiny man children just make me laugh so much.
"We be we baby!"The focus is the streaming episodes through the apps,so watching shows on TV isn't that big a deal anymore

New theme music also a boxOkay, let me rephrase that to barely promoting the show. Cause I don’t think after season two of Clarence CN has ever tried promoting the show via commercials and promos.

"We be we baby!"So what does everyone else thinks of this show?
Because I believe that it's lighthearted, occasionally funny, and the plot and morals feels an bit forced; but hey, it could be worse.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakI enjoy it. I think it's pretty cute, and I dig the little kid society details of the creek itself. Plus all the characters are entertaining.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.I've said this on other sites, but I get a "Recess" vibe from this show, only with the playground replaced with the creek.
Same! I've heard people say that it gives them a KND vibe, which I can see too, but the whole creek society reminds me a lot of the playground society in Recess.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself. You are so right. Now I am thinking that the adult Recess gang would go to Craig's neighborhood and remind themselves of their old times at the playground.
The aesthetic reminds me most of KND, yes, but the character interactions remind me more of Hey Arnold!, which is a plus since the latter is one of my top 5 cartoons.
The card game episode was amusing, but man in the context of the show itself, that Beast Snare must be one poorly thought out card to allow the user to literally take a card from the opponent, with said card being reusable and abusable. Not only that, the rules werne't changed to disallow the card to ever be used in the game again after its print run ended?
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefIt's exaggerate (and the idea of bans is ignored) for comedy, but some early Magic: The Gathering cards really were just absurdly broken—the most infamous gave you a whole extra turn for the smallest resource cost possible.

It reminds me of Hearthstone and Sylvanas Windrunner who will randomly take over one of your opponents fighters after she dies in battle. With certain cards (mostly priest class such as Diamond Spellstone) you can revive Sylvanas and steal another card.
Like Magic, certain cards get nerfed or if they cannot have their game-breaking effect lowered, banned from Standard, though every card ever released is fair game in wild decks. Sylvanas takes it further by being "hall of famed" meaning she is no longer available in packs, and must be crafted by dusting your duplicate cards.
Anyway, Craig of the Creek is cool and I'd love to see it more often. My favorite episode so far has the teen witches.
