I had a weird dream involving IDW.
Kit and Surge would need to pray to god in order to use their powers. Because of that, they were openly asking why Starline made them that way.
I know it's not the case, but thinking of the duo as inspired by Youjo Senki was amusing, if inaccurate.

Never thought we'd hear the term Sonic Cycle in anything that wasn't a fan rant, or a rant about a fan rant.
It's even pretty accurate to what happens in the games, and part two of Starline's even sounds similar to the actual cycle with the reference to Sonic's friends.

I've always been annoyed by Starline's Leaning on the Fourth Wall observations. I don't need him to point out how formulaic the plots are and how incompetent Eggman is. In-universe it fits Dr. Starline's overconfident Big Bad Wannabe attitude, but it's so meta it genuinely isn't funny.
