You only have to look at Shadow "I have no friends" the Hedgehog for that.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'm still waiting for the Shadow androids to be mentioned.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I'm behind but I saw a caption for "Belle the Tinkerer."
It seems like we have an opportunity to have a "good Dr. Eggman." Like, there's Tails, but giving her "the Tinkerer" as an epithet seems like they could do more.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I just like how the kid with the Wisp is an off-brand Banjo Kazooie. Also, we see Wisps in non-Resistance matters, so I'm enjoying it.
Now give me a Chao fusing with a Wisp, you cowards.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. The first three pages of Sonic #46 are up now.
O hai Surge and Kit.
I'll name that bug Jimmy.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.So we've got:
- Being worried your girlfriend can't handle her former stalker (okay, being concerned for your loved ones in general butchaknowwhatImean wink)
- Overworked and feeling like you're losing your friendships
- Concerned about your future and not knowing where you'll end.
- And can't this trip go right and just be fun, we need a break damnit!
Damn I can relate to all of that.
Oh god, now I relate to Jewel when you put it like that.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.So would Tangle and/or Whisper count as Advertised Extras given how much promotion they received in proportion to their roles in the book?

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I don't think so. They got their own miniseries, played a decent role in the first two arcs, and right now they both have something going on.
Yea, but all of that was over three years ago hmmm?
Aside from that, they've mostly just played supporting roles.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Tangle's got a mini-arc about being blue that Whisper just up and left, so it's not like she's been demoted to extra all of a sudden.
Sidetracking, here's the retail incentive cover for Issue 2 of Imposter Syndrome. Sure looks familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it...
We also got a solicit for Issue 2:
The ROAD TO #50 continues here! Enjoy a TEN-ISSUE long adventure leading up to the EPIC SHOWDOWN in milestone issue #50.
Is it me or is that solicit implying that Starline might not be telling his kids how they came to be? And that they're running under the impression that they're the good guys while thinking Sonic and Co. are the baddies?

Well Starline wants to surpass Eggman, so I think the implication is that Starline wants all of them together to surpass their "predecessors"
I'm not saying they're "extras" just...not the major characters all of the advertisements and build up would have you believe?

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Supporting is still better than minor, and when they steal the show or have their moments, they're just fun to watch.
They're kinda like Hinata and Temari from Naruto for as weird of a connection I can make. They're definitely not the mains, Sakura and Kakashi are in the story for far longer than they are, but when they're around, ya notice them.
Ya know?
Both of those characters also spend a lot of time Out of Focus :V
I guess a big reason I felt like that; its very long since they've had stories dedicated to them, even when the potential is there. Like Tangle and Whisper getting unceremoniously beaten by Zavok to focus on yet another Sonic (And Tails) vs. the Deadly Six plot point was a bit deflating.
Tangle is a main character of this arc, so hopefully it makes up for that.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well, I did write that a previous issue focused a lot on the girls, despite them being minor characters during Sonic fight with Zavok and Starline capturing Belle.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Tomodachi's right. Also, didn't Tangle and Whisper contribute to that fight? They took out one or two of the Deadly Six if memory serves me right.
Nope. They were a distraction at best.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.It sounds cynical, but the focus on the girls was done because a story with the Zeti wouldn't interest many a folk.
Cynical marketing, but the staff knows the readerbase.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I would have honestly preferred the girls being the focus ane holding the line until Sonic showed up.
Tangle and Whisper against the Six sounds infinitely more interesting than Sonic.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.So I imagine that Surge and Kit are mutant clones or something.
The kid nicknaming the Wisp reminds me of pokemon nicknames.
I wonder if wisps vs wisps battles will become common place in the future.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.We get our first cameo of Surge and Kit too.
Amy gets a pretty good moment of rallying the crowd (of two people lol).

Extended 5-page preview for Sonic #45
Looks like Belle isn't the only girl feeling more blue than Sonic. A few days prior to the trip, Tangle walked in on Whisper trying to leave the Restoration at the crack of dawn. And why is Whisper even leaving? Because she caught wind of Mimic getting out of prison. And as such, she feels that Restoration HQ will be compromised if she stays any longer.
I mean, after the events of Tangle & Whisper, one would think Whisper would know the value of strength in numbers and new friends and all that that implies, so it's little wonder that Tangle feels rather heartbroken. Ah well, I guess this is one of those "trauma doesn't go away overnight" moments.
