As if unsurprised, she grabs a nearby broom, and shoos the little things away, sweeping them out of the back room. Having lost their supply of files, they compensate by picking up loose garbage across the floor; spare IDs, dropped wallets, gum wrappers, and the like.

Doris the walks over to the opened file cabinet, and sees that every file has been ruffled, busted, or otherwise messed with. Every file, that is, other than Ivy Adams’, whose file seems to be untouched.

Doris returns to her back office, and removes her lunch from a nice little mini fridge which she had snuck into her office so many years ago. She has prepared herself a nice roast beef sandwich, along with a chill can of Dr. Pepper.

She had given her morning to Tropesberg. But for the next fifteen to thirty minutes, the city would be on Doris Time. And she was happy.

Season 8, Episode 18: Once Upon a Smeg

(It was nighttime in Tropesburg. Another long and busy day has come and gone for our Tropers. Then again, every day is busy on the Tropers' ends, whether it's city government work for some, going on a misadventure for others, or raising a child for a couple.

Chey and Ford Prefect couldn't be more proud of their infant daughter Delilah. She was growing up right in front of their eyes every day. She had managed to say her first word; sure it wasn't something like "mama" or "dada", but "smeghead" is a start!

Despite the Prefects still getting involved in a lot of big, crazy adventures with their friends, they still make sure that their beloved baby girl is given the happiest life possible and the chance to experience all the best parts of childhood.

One of those parts is a centuries-old Earth ritual of reading a bedtime story.

Chey and Ford would usually read her a selection of fairy tales from Earth and Gallifrey. In fact, they kept a few books of them up in a shelf in Delilah's nursery. Unfortunately though tonight...)
"Hey, our fairy tale books have gone missing!"
(Ford comes into the nursery carrying Delilah, who was blue pajamas.)
"What do you mean?"
"I went over to the shelf to pull one of them out and they were gone. There was this note though."
(Chey takes the note from the shelf and reads it.)

"What are we gonna do?"
"I don't know, Delilah just has to have her bedtime story..."
(Delilah fusses at her parents.)

(Ford then puts Delilah in her crib and sits on the loveseat beside it.)

CG and her companions arrive at the apartment after their stay at the hospital. Anastasia was pulling a casted CG in a wheelchair. Chey's announcement made Anastasia stop so quickly that CG was sent flying out of her chair.

Anastasia quickly picks up CG and puts her back to the chair. Then both see Chey.
