Tropers: The Series

"You're right. Nothing bad does happen to us."

"Generally, the bad things happen to other people."

"Incidentally, you know what would be real great? If we had, for example, a small bag stuffed with an improbable number of Russian potato pancakes."

"Okay obviously there's shenanigans about to happen," Sylvi says, "but we gotta be surprised by them otherwise it's no good, y'know?"

"I haven't a clue what you're talking about. There's no way this could lead to shenanigans!"

"Well, apart from the shenanigans we create ourselves, which I'm sure have managed to surprise God once or twice, so no problem there!"

"I've gone with the flow of chaos for my entire life. That's kinda how it goes considering how wizards are in my world. Like... 90% of wizards are idiots. I'm not in that percentage. I don't know how that works, and no one has been able to figure it out."

"Shenanagans? I don't know the meaning of the word! Sounds Irish though."

As the seals say this, a little drone pops out with a small bag, with a little smiley face sticky note. If opened, it will have an improbable amount of Russian potato waffles.

"Eh, close enough."

"That was really just a call-back to events in another timeline."

"That doesn't mean we don't really like foods made from fried potatoes, though!" The three seals stick their heads into the bag (somehow) and start eating.

Fuzzy, who was previously asleep on the floor, wakes up.

"Huh? Where? ...what is this place?"

He bashes his head on the floor multiple times in the hope he'll wake up if this is a dream.

"Hmm. Stranded on an island. Not really how I expected it to happen but, well, we're here."

It takes about 5 seconds to process the information.

"OH CRAP THIS IS SO MESSED UP! I have to get up and brush my teeth and change into socially acceptable clothing and have breakfast and write in my-"

She shrugs and opens her bag, before sticking a magically charged glove (right hand) into it and the glow of magic bursts out from within before the movement inside the bag stops. Then removes her hand, the glove back to normal and the bag automatically closing.

"Geez, stay still for the rest of the trip!"

Knife notices the bag Briya has. "Hey, let me see! What's that-" They grab the bag, attempting to pull it out of Briya's grasp.

She now has a death grip on her bag. "Wait it's a bag of holding! And it weighs more than you think! Considering how much firepower I carry around! Nooooo!"

And for a moment, one could have sworn her bag moved on it's own...

"Maybe for you! But I can lift anything, because I'm just built different." They don't seem to notice the bag moving. But, their grip seems to loosen.

"Don't open it! I don't-"

Annnd the bag opens by itself, with green flames coming out of the opening before Briya stuffs the green flames back in and closing it.

"Stay, stay! No getting out! That's what I mean about the other stuff."

"...Green flames? Really? Kinda underwheming. Purple's a cooler color anyway."

A bunch of notebook pages are already across the floor where Fuzzy woke up. He's trying to list everything he could have that would be of any use, unfortunately, his backpack has the complete opposite.

"Pencil, glue, tape, cardboard plushie, interdimensional portal, cardboard, tent with ac, muffin, Hamilton the cow from that one meaningless subplot... forget it, it's all useless. Guess I'll have to rely on you guys."

Peppy slowly wakes up. Fuzzy can be seen voicing "uh oh".

"Huh? Where? ...what is this place?"

Fuzzy jumps us and starts doing some weird tribal dance.

"You're dreaming... ooga booga ooga booga ooga booga..."

She's still holding onto her bag and the bag is definitely moving now.

"I do NOT want it getting loose on this plane. Catching it was hard enough!"

Runaway green flames. Yea. That's in her bag.

And now Fuzzy's aggressively scribbling drawings of tents with AC into his notebook in the slim hope any of them comes to life.

"tent tent tent tent tent tent tent tent tent tent tent tent"

"Sad. You summoned a whole bedroom but you can't make a tent. Silly human."

CG and Anastasia just left the plane. The latter is now wearing some modern clothing (a leather jacket and jeans) wears her hair in a long ponytail and has her Winchester over her shoulder.

Then, they both noticed the green flames.

"There's fire already! Wow, this will be fun!" Anastasia shouted.

Eventually, the jet touches down on the island of New New Guinea, and the group's greeted with multiple guards and the holographic image of Luke Probst.

" Why! You're finally here, [TROPERS]. Welcome to New New Guinea! Just get yourselves settled. For [Pleasure] and [Joy] and [Non-deadly positive emotions.]! Just a couple of reminders; this is a no tech island. You're here to disconnect from the world! So, we'll have to confiscate all your technologies.

As the hologram says that, the guards begin grabbing everyone's phones, gaming consoles, and such.

"He-hey! Get your fucking hands off of me! Why. Why."

Fortunely, her bag looks normal and all of her guns are in her bag. Also. This is weird. And her phone is somewhere in her bag... probably next to the backup sniper rifle. Which is buried REALLY deeply in there... All things considered, her tech and guns are stuck behind moving green flames in her bag. Argh, really should have considered another means...

"Geez, this seems excessive!"

Close combat however does NOT require guns. So if it comes down to it... punching will suffice. Magically charged punches via her gloves.

Peppy has to hold Fuzzy back from one of the guards as they take his phone. He seems to be barking like a wild dog.

"STOP! CALM DOWN! Think: what would I do in this situation? That's a flawless coping mechanism."

"Alrighty..." CG pulls out a tent set from her quite large backpack. "Let's build a tent!"

It took a few minutes but CG and Anastasia managed to set up their tent.

"Hey, CG?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I explore for a bit?"

"Sure; don't get hurt and/or lost!"

Anastasia runs off and ends up encountering Briya.

"Hi, Briya!"

Sylvi, meanwhile, is struggling with the guards. "You can't do that! Our phone is like 85% of our mental capacity! We'll sic the ADA on you, see if we don't!"

Playing walks to where the Tropers are, all dressed in Hawaiian shirts and leis and cargo shorts and flip flops.

"Aloha."

She looks at Anastasia and is setting up her own tent which is in visual range of theirs by sniper standards. And yes, her tent is green and nonmagical.

"Hello."

On her left side is a utility axe, which seems to be nonmagical.
