So Super Butoden still won't be translated even if you pre-ordered in N.A?
It only mentioned that the original score done by Kenji Yamamoto will be replaced with original music ('cause some Dragon Ball fans are well aware of that plagiarism fiasco).
Although, there was an official French translation of the game in the past, so there'll most likely be an updated English one.

Wow, to think after 2 decades Super Butoden will finally have an official translation. Of course, I rather have a translation of Super Butoden 2, Legends, or Hyper Dimension but hey beggars can't be choosers.
I just realized something interesting. I think Fighterz is the first game to come out after Battle of Gods that didn't have Super Saiyan God Goku as a separate playable character. Odd how times change, SSB has completely replaced SSG as the transformation representing the modern age of Dragon Ball.
Well, it makes sense, he only used SSG against Beerus.
It's been 3000 years…He used SSG at the Tournament of Power as well.
And in the manga, both Vegeta and Goku consistently use the form before mastering SSB.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...
Yea, I'm going to have to disagree with that. SSGB might be the prominent for DBZ Super, but SSJ 1 will always be the most famous overall. Regardless of time & places.
It has, both both of those are pretty recent.
Gos was introduced in 2013 - 5 years ago - and was the only new form at the time. Once Blue was introduced, God was still being used in marketing, but absent in the new materials whereas Blue has been used very prominently. The manga is also marketed much less than the anime.
Plus, Blue is just stronger and bears more resemblance to SS 1, the most iconic form of the franchise. It's no surprise to me that the form is used more often.
Read what I said again. I didn't say "most famous form in Dragon Ball", I said "most famous form to represent the modern age of Dragon Ball". The modern age of Dragon Ball is everything from Battle of Gods onward.
Then that would be Super Saiyan Blue, due to how much of a game changer it was.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...And if anyone wants to catch top 8 at CEO, catch it here, it's gonna be starting any minute now.
A round of applause to both players, that was incredible!

Did not know Kazunoko was a DBFZ player
It finally happened.
Yamcha won a Major.
Now to hope Kazunoko wins EVO too.

I don't think that would work. Plus you would still be able to summon Shenron during the fight itself.
By the way, when do you guys think we'll hear about the next DLC characters?

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Just change the model for in-game Shenron to Porunga as an Easter Egg. The moment of King Piccolo killing Shenron is too iconic for me not to include it in his intro.
Not arguing how iconic the scene is, but I don't think you're doing it justice if you condense the entire scene within 15 seconds.
Shenron is already summoned with Old King Piccolo standing in front of him. Piano is standing next to him.
Shenron's eyes flash and he says "Your wish is granted" overlaid with King Piccolo growing younger and more muscular.
King Piccolo grins and then shoots Shenron, killing him.
Shenron's arm falls to the ground in front of King Piccolo and Piano. King Piccolo says variable quote.
I'm still not entirely sure if that's really good for Demon King Piccolo to have that intro, but most people skip intro anyways so I guess it doesn't really matter. I'm more concern how awkward it would be to have King Piccolo to kill Shenron & then say his specific quote to whoever it's supposed to be.
Yeah that doesn't sound workable and the Prounga addition is too much to expect.
He could transition with a stock phrase like Beerus, but maybe it is asking too much, even for a DLC character.
I really want him killing Shenron to be utilized in some way, though. Maybe he can use his Level 3 to pre-emptively kill Shenron when the opponent summons him?
That actually looks pretty promising for King Piccolo, especially the incorporation of his sons in battle. Although, maybe traditional hit points instead of another health bar on screen would be better for them?
FighterZ on the Switch is releasing on September 28th in the Americas and Europe. Pre-ordering not only gives players early access to the SSJB Goku and Vegeta, but also a downloadable copy of the
