The only real question is who will win?
The Protomen enhanced my life.So I believe that just leaves XYZ and Pendulum.
Though I still wonder if the last one will even make it in. Probably not.
One Strip! One Strip!Maybe in a Villain of the Week. Probably not in any main character decks.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! With how much they go with the Link Arrow's importance, I am surprised they use the other methods.
Wake me up at your own risk. That's more or less what I was expecting really.
Considering the guy who wrote the two series where Synchro and Pendulum appeared had the two more fan favourite series be portrayed as the villains and a wrecked dystopia respectively, I'd expect a massive Take That! towards both summoning methods introduced during his series.
Though I've heard arguments against that, and I fully admit it's possible I'm seeing something that's not really there. We'll see.
One Strip! One Strip!VRAINS was good today. The story with Windy got me thinking his partner was Blood Shepherd for a while before I realized how that didn't make any sense whatsoever.

It's probably the original accident that Blood Shepherd's car rammed into.
Conservation of detail says the two incidents are related if only because two different AI-caused car accidents in the story that aren't related at all feels weird unless they're trying to establish a trend of that being a thing, which I doubt they would be.
How much ya wanna bet that the other car belonged to the Zaizens?
Who were giving Takeru's parents a lift, right?
Having watched the episode I can agree that the accident that injured Blood Shepard and his mother was probably caused by Windy's effort to eliminate his partner.
That is, if Blood Shepard really isn't his partner. It's unlikely (since he seems too old), but I'm not 100% ruling it out.
But wow, suddenly, the good Doctor doesn't seem so paranoid huh? Windy is a massive prick, and the fact that I was cheering when Revolver beat him, and when he was seemingly dying (which meant I was cheering for Revolver and the Knights) shows how awful he is. Lightning isn't much better, since...well, let mah boi Abridged Coola tell you:
I mean, I'm 95% sure I was the first one to say it was probably him, well before the reveal about the voice. That does leave the question of who Bohman and Haru are now.
Anyway, now it's just Aqua and her partner that are unaccounted for, but considering how well Yugioh fares with females, I'm not holding out hope. Especially since they raised our hopes with Blue Angel, but as is always the case for one reason or another, she's getting pushed out of the action, and I expect Aqua will just be a Sacrificial Lamb and her partner unimportant...or male for some reason.

One Strip! One Strip! Also the way the scene plays out I honestly think Lightning chose to only act at the last second to save Windy.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Aqua's partner is Brave Max
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! If Aqua's partner turns out to be Bohman, there would be a whole of implications to take out from that.
I've actually been considering that. In fact, I think I've suggested it before.
It is true that we have no clue who Bohman really is, and we know an avatar doesn't have to look anything like the real person either. It's not impossible that Bohman could actually be female if s/he himself/herself doesn't know it.
It kinda seemed that way to me as well. Though it seems it was Ai's plea that made him finally act as well.

One Strip! One Strip!Double post for another thought:
The entire thing with Windy killing his partner is especially notable because...it was completely unnecessary. Both Playmaker and Soul Burner chose to join the fight, and the latter needed some prodding. The key thing is, if he didn't want to team up with his partner, then he just didn't need to. Instead, he pulls off this well, I don't need him, so just die bullshit just to be a dick.
One Strip! One Strip!Anyone still believing Bohman's shit at this point?
Not I. He's already had false memories implanted in him before. Who's to say that hasn't happened this time as well.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Wow.
You're a dick Lightning.
So are you Revolver, but we'll deal with you later.
I never imagined he'd be the one to destroy the Ignis world. So essentially, because others didn't agree with him, he pulled Stoic Quit on his fellow Ignis. Guy is an asshole supreme. He basically decided attacking humanity was more important than just living in peace with his friends. He basically rendered AI's efforts meaningless.
So I've accepted that we'll probably never meet Windy and Aqua's partners. The former because she's likely dead...and the latter because she's a girl (which should be a reason, but you know how these shows are sometimes).
One Strip! One Strip!I buy him being a Gen3 AI made by Lightning, but I don't believe a word of the part where he was created to stand above the Ignis.

Aqua will of course turn out to have a boy partner. She'lll be a girl cause ???!
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
You joke, but I'm fully expecting that myself until proven otherwise.
This is Shonen. You don't even need reasons to downplay some. They just do it anyway...every damn time.
One Strip! One Strip!I was serious actually.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Latest episode.
I think this is the first time AI has been helpful in battle beyond Storm Access.
One Strip! One Strip!
The next set's cover card is Borreload Savage Dragon, a level 8 Synchro monster.
This isn't even a question. He's gonna use it next episode.
