Yeah the bombing fungus can be quite a pain, not gonna lie and I devopt a deeply hate for them.

And I talk about those stuff that you have to hit to jump into other part in the fungal waste, i took me a while to master that.

In fact I will said an advice in this game is indeed remenbering you can do up or down atacks I take a while to actually do this.

I know is double post but I want to said my status:

I manage to beat the crystal guardian, by using the oniric shield and fly shield I decide the best idea was just kept hitting and hitting and hitting and let pasive do is job.

Then I decide for the sake of it atack the fallen receptor(the oniric version of the lost receptor) it took me for a while and I decide that using longer stinger, heroic odor and grubsong to heal and go berserk on him(a very odd choice given this game dosent go for that as general rule, specting you to hit always), I feel happy since I beat my first oniric enemy.

Now I enter a new area, a hive by sheer mistake(I used the train in deep basing thinking it will bring me to cementery were I could talk to the moth, my brain kinda fused that with the other one topside....yeah) and discover the thing that make me inmune to acid which is VERY nice and I start exploring and...I found hornet and I face her a few time.

So far I hasnt able to beat her because the second phase were she start throwing traps for me to fall, making the fight already more dificult, I decide to used a balance charms of heroic odor, oniric shield, longer sting and twistspells because it allow me to get anime and doing pasive damage.

Anything else?. Also when I see breakable floor how I open it?

Some breakable floors are opened simply by standing on them. For others, use Desolate Dive (your downward spell).

You can break through breakable floors with the Dive spells. The first one comes from beating the Soul Master in Sanctum of Souls, in Hallownest.

The Soul master? damn, how much I hate that guy, I really really do specially for what I get his fight will be looooooong. very well.

It's an easy fight, you just gotta keep your distance away from him. Or basically, always keep moving when he disappears, he'll try and track you. During his spinning slow horizontal attack, you can stand still and get some heals in. He'll always telegraph his stomp, so you can easily dash away. Just poke him whenever he appears, keep your distance when possible.

The fight also gives you a full refill of Soul before you enter, so dump some Vengeful Spirits into him.

Any charm combination against him you recomend? so far I dont know if you a swordman combo of longer and harder stinger or go full mage with shaman stone plust twisterspells

I would recommend upgrading your nail, at least to the third level. It makes him much easier.

Dunno were I can find more metal to do so, I did the first time two times but I dont now where else I can find the rare metal

So you are on the third nail level then? Well there's more pale ore to find if you explore (i'd upgrade the dream nail and explore the ancient basin). At a certain point I feel you do have to learn the soul masters patterns. I will note for the four rotating fireballs there's a safespot in the middle of the room; they won't you hit you if you stand there. Anyway it's tough but repeating it a bunch I eventually got it. As for charms, I'd get quick focus; gives you more time to heal; maybe also shape of unn, will be able to move around when healing.

Soul Master would feel a lot better if it weren't for the hall full of bug wizards you have to run through again each time he kills you.

That's why the unlockable doors are nice. Gives you a quick throughline. It's still a bit obnoxious, but if you unlock the doors, you can go from the City bench, go right, and have a straight path ahead.

Making the hole certainly made it faster, but it doesn't help avoid the area full of Soul Twisters so I was still consistently arriving at the boss arena having already lost a mask or two of health.

On bosses painful to go back to, yeah Soul Master is bad, but Traitor Lord is way worse. Silver lining is, by the time you encounter the latter, you usually have Dream Gate.

Traitor Lord can be fucking rough. Thankfully you can cheese him with Desolate Dive/Descending Dark, and some spiders. Dashmaster's also surprisingly useful for double damage bosses when you just need to stay the hell away.

I've never actually tried it myself, but by my understanding it was still working last year after the last update? I didn't see any indication that that was a previous patch.

(Also I recommend that video if you haven't seen it, Pacifist Hollow Knight is very funny and shows off a wide variety of mechanics abuse.)

I've heard how good Descending Dark is for avoiding damage, but how does the timing work? Whenever I've tried to use it I just get interrupted casting it or hit while I'm recovering.

It doesn't work on the starting animation, only while you're hitting. After it hits, you get half a second of invincibility. Which for HK, is huge during bosses.

So I beat the soul master, I will said by the time I beat him I was kinda overleved since a)I learn already to atack up and down and with the doble jump make most of his atacks a easy time so I beat him with ease, so that make the soul temple a cakewalk.

I also fight Hornet the second time and beat her using heroic odor with shiny uterus, leading to stinky bombers, I will said it was one of the most fucking enyoable fight ever, I will add to my best boss fight ever
