ITT: We Have All Become Pokémon

[I sigh and move closer to PJ. I don't know if I should go into details...then again, I'm kind of...lacking in them with...all this. I clasp my hands together, trying to find where to start.]

"...well, I didn't see it when it...happened, but...we got...we got attacked again, by that guy." [I stare off past PJ.] "...the one who hurt Jani. He...he got..." [Don't beat around the bush...he knows Finley's hurt.] "He got Finley pretty bad..." [I draw a line across my chest, looking at him again with weary eyes.]

The doctor opens his medical bag and takes out a beautiful bouquet of flowers. He takes some stationary out of his bag, writes something on it, and attaches it to the flowers. He then takes out a box of candied berries (that taste as if they're chocolate-covered) and shows both the box of berries and the bouquet of flowers to the nurse.

Von Gold: Just a small gift. Tell her it's from a someone who wishes the best for her.

So if Guy's here, then where's Jani?

Behind the large crowd that was amassing at the front desk of the hospital, yet another individual soon made their presence known. A female Noivern walks in, purposefully thumping her feet against the floor as he walked in quite ponderously, even though Noivern aren't especially large compared to the others in the room. Instead of saying anything, however, she opts to simply sigh and stand, waiting patiently for the queue ahead of her to clear.

Um...thank you? (Gloria says.) Goodness, I hope they aren't poisoned.

Guy, do you remember what happened to Jani? (I ask.)

(What the hell do I do now?) Almost as if to answer my call, I come across a library. (Hm… I don't really read, but… I don't have anything better to do.) I enter and quietly greet the Slowking in charge of the place.

A Wailord nurse knocks on Finley's door.

Wailord: Excuse me miss, but you have some gifts from a secret admirer.

"...?" Finley looks confused again. "Secret admirer? Can I see it?"

I scan through the spines of the books, quickly reading their titles until one catches my eye. A rather thick one called Move Pools: Fire Red Version. (… Sure, why not.) I grab it from the shelf and sit down at a nearby table. I flip to the index and find the page number for 'Cyndaquil Family.'

Guy didn't respond. He still seemed to be out cold.

I think guy is actually just in a very deep sleep. Why don't we try getting some form of food to wake him up?

The Wailord nurse hands Finley the box of candied berries and the bouquet of flowers, then leaves.

The flowers had a piece of stationary attached to it that reads:

Note: Hope you feel better soon! A get-well gift from a secret admirer.

The stationary by shear coincidence had the image of a Mr. Mime in a swimsuit.

That might work. (I say.)

(I make a mad dash to the Deli and come back with a particularly large Sitrus Berry.)

*I pause for a second to take in this information. My next reply is not as tactful as it could be due to never hearing about any of this before.*

"...Digs is Jani, right? I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I am actually terrified of what happened to Finley, but this is the first I've heard of any sort of attacker. God, I must've missed a lot, huh?"

For the most part, the list of moves is the same for the entirety of my evolution line. The only noticable difference I see is 'Blast Burn,' which I find unnecessary. Reading the moves I can learn naturally or leveling up, I let out a slightly impressed "Oh."

(I quickly hand it over)

"Y-you did..."

[I don't really know what else to say.]

"...if it's all the same, I missed that fight with the vector. Though, I...I think I already...said that..."

Guy, wake up! Wake up, we have a berry here for you!

(Psyduck asks his superior.)

"Secret..."

Finley remembers who visited her last night and grunts out in annoyance, crumbling it up.

"These berries look good though."

Guy sniffed the berry a little bit then lazily opened his mouth.

That's when I finally get to the list of moves I can learn with outside assistance/Technical Machines. My eyes widen in surprise. Four moves in particular are imprinted into my mind. I figure that I'm done with this book, return it to its proper location, and leave the library, waving goodbye at the Slowking.

(I let him eat the berry.)

Beginning to get slightly impatient, the female Noivern in the waiting room decides to sit down by a nearby table, which she was delighted to discover had what seemed to be a half-finished game of Peg Solitaire on it, which she immediately set about resetting and restarting.

The doctor doesn't know yet that the specific type of berries he bought were the spicy ones

He turns to his assistant
