Louis and his wife exchange confused looks before looking back toward their daughter.

The Guild is 'pparently runnin' low on funds. These guys are workin' with some financier type. They need a place to stay for these next few days, mom. So why don't we let 'em stay 'ere? Then we'll head for Whisperin'.

I don't trust anyone that's in league with that crackpot organization, kiddo. But, I can only suppose that if you can show us these friends and let us speak to them I'm sure we can let them slide and stay here. What do you say, Rachel?

After some time of thinking Louis quickly speaks.

Rachel nods and goes about that business while father and daughter set out to find the others.

I feel it as I walk through the streets after picking up the footprints of the Ludicolo. Another hard stare from another resident of this place. Once again I do not wish to find myself into a fight so I move quickly and try to show them that I mean no malicious intent to them as I continue to follow the prints.

Maya^note My Pokemon trainer persona woke up, not realising she has become.... A SNOM!

"Huh. Where am I? This isn't Galar at all!" She tried walking, but ended up tripping and tumbling to a nearby body of water. She saw her reflection, and... "Wait what?! I turned into a SNOM?! Where am I anyways?!"

Yalta's Ruins

There's a well off in the distance from the ruins. There, a Tepig is pulling up water, and when the bucket finally clears the ground, the Tepig pulls the bucket over and unhooks it from the pulley, suspending the bucket from a pole on her back and cantering off. As she makes her way back to the main path, she notices a distressed Snom out towards those old ruins.

"Oh, goodness..." She trots up towards the Snom, cursing under her breath as she hears some water spill behind her. "Hello?" she starts as she approaches. "What seems to be the matter, dear?"

"Nothing serious. I'm just in shock. I could've sworn I was at Galar before this, but now... I'm at a land I've never seen before, and I'm a Snom now."

Yalta's Ruin

"Galar? What do you..." This Tepig is very confused. "And you said you're now a Snom? Did someone get you with one of those...Wonder Balls, whatever they're called...?"

"Pokeballs? I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. May I ask where we are?"

Yalta Ruins

"Oh, yes, you did say...we're not but a mile's walk from a little settlement out that way." The Tepig points to a nearby patch of forest towards the east. "If you're meaning the whole of the island, this is Denalsi. Now I don't know where this Galar is, perhaps it's out on the mainland, but I think you ought to come with me for now and we can get this mess sorted out."

"Sure."

The Tepig looks back towards Maya. "Are you sure you're alright? What's your name, dear?"

"Maya. What's yours?"

(There is no immediate response from Belle or anyone with her. However, as Marlon has started to move out of the street, more Fairy-type Pokémon seem to have come out of the woodwork...and are starting to follow him.)

...more voices. I peer out of the corner of my eye and realize I have attracted a group of followers. A Snubbull, a Mawile, a Wigglytuff, a Granbull, and a Morelull. I'm starting to feel rather uncomfortable because I know the connotations that follow a group of people with unknown motivations following you. I stop to catch msyelf, for which I ask the pursuers a question.

(The Fairy types stop when Marlon acknowledges them.)

Hey, uh, his leg looks like it was broke. That kinda complicates things, doesn't it? (A Morelull in the group asks.)

If I know the new boss, he won't really care about that... (A Wigglytuff replies.)

(Everyone looks to a large Granbull within the small group. He addresses Marlon.) Our new leader told us to be on the lookout for a Gallade that looked like ya. We were just thinking we'd have to move outta here to try to find you somewhere else, but here you are! And since you're here now...

(Two more Granbulls move in to get on either side of Marlon.)

Never told us why, but SOMETHIN' musta happened to make him want to find you again this badly, so shut your yap and come with us! He's not gonna be happy if he finds out that you were this close and we just let you go!

....oh no. Their leader is VINCE. I thought we had seen him for the last time in that bar in Agartha! Oh this isn't good at all. Not at all. Especially knowing how he threatened to kill me and Goobert that time. For as much as I want to start fighting these guys I have no choice but to surrender myself because they won't let me go.

...As much as this pains me to do, just promise me that as long as none of you nor him hurt me I'll go with you. I have a feeling I know exactly why your leader wants to talk to me. By any chance...although I think I know already...is your leader a Gardevoir?

(Belle and her entourage have made a timely arrival and now stand (or sit) at the end of the street. Belle and Bryce appear ready to fight, both Ludicolo guards have vines in both hands, while Manaphy sits behind a Snivy with the group.)

Oh thank god, my ticket out of this has arrived. I immediately wave the entourage down to try to make it clear that I'm not associated with these mons.

Maya follows the Tepig to their (Tepig's) house. "The neighbourhood here is pretty friendly, isn't it?"

Oh, it WAS you, Marlon! See, dear, I wasn't just hearing things! (Belle says, giving Bryce a playfully smug expression. But then she turns her attention back to the thugs. The entourage gets closer to the altercation. As they do, Belle and Bryce's tail flukes start glowing with a metallic shine.)

Step away from our friend! (Belle shouts.) I do not know what you plan to do with him, but if you try to hurt him, we will fight back!

(The Granbulls who were moving to grab Marlon start stepping away. They seem to know what move the Primarina couple are preparing and don't want to be on the receiving end of it.)

Wimps. (The leader Granbull says. He roughly grabs Marlon around the arm himself and prepares to run away with him. But then-)

WHACK!

(Belle hits the Granbull with Iron Tail, sending him rolling across the ground. The rest of the Fairy-types scatter after this. Upon seeing the others having left, the Granbull jumps to his feet and limps into the building he originally came out of.) We'll remember this!! (He shouts before disappearing inside.)

You okay, Marlon? (Bryce asks Marlon, he and Belle moving beside him.)

I gasp once the Granbull grabs me by the arm but thankfully Belle and Bryce actually come in to help clear these assholes away. After that scare I get myself stabilized again and clear my throat as I start to speak to the couple.

Yeah, I'm fine. Just a, a little shaken up mentally knowing that those guys were involved with someone who said he'd take some pretty serious revenge on me for something that happened on accident the next time he saw me. And I could’ve sworn that guy was thrown into jail too. But at least you guys found me when you did.

I clear my throat again.

Which is funny, I was already trying to find you guys after Benji told me you all were in here looking for Winnie. Granted, I was already going to be here as I was on business for the mayor. How's your search going?

(Manaphy and the Snivy approach Marlon now that it’s safe for them to do so.) Marlon! Hello again! (The Mythical Pokémon cheerfully greets Marlon. He seems startled when he sees Marlon’s bound up leg.) Oh, y-your leg!

Well, how many forms do we know for sure that she has? How have you been trying to tackle this search so far, anyway? Are you only going on an idea that someone who looked like one of her forms could've been seen around here?

Further thoughts on this matter are paused when the prince himself and a friend of his, the Snivy, approach me. Who exactly is this Snivy though?

Oh, that...well, don't fret, little guy, it's getting better. I saw a really good doctor who specializes in this sorta thing. By the way, who's your friend?

However, as all of this goes on little do I realize that somewhere else on this island, someone is only beginning to realize just who they truly are...

A Lilligant with one leaf in her "hair" colored differently than the others takes note of what she overhears between the proprietor of the inn and his daughter. See, she has been having dreams lately. Such dreams have involved the Guild, and every time she has these dreams she wakes up feeling as if she should have intimate knowledge of what the Guild has been up to. She has zeroed in specifically on a Gallade—Marlon—for reasons she isn't yet sure, but she has begun to wonder their connection. She knows of him, but he doesn't know of her. Yet. Through pure curiosity she begins to follow the duo out of the inn as they continue to approach the party.

Are they here in town...? Will these dreams I've had finally begin to make sense....?

Meanwhile, Addie and her father begin to close in on the party. They can be seen in the distance closing in, with the Lilligant also coming up behind them.

Is that them?

Yep.....jus' be calm aroun' 'em, they ain't all that bad....
